Answer: I have used mine for everything from trout to carp and catfish. It has worked great for all of them.

I bought one and for a while it worked fantastic. Really loved it. I had it about less than a year and the gears started slipping. Yet it worked. I like it so much I bought another one. From day one it didn't work. It slipped so.bad I could not reel my bait in. Then the bag drag which I use a lot would not loosen up on the handle. To much hassel to send it back. I just know I will not buy another one.

Not too sure I like this reel very much. I’m gonna hang on to it and give it a go but I don’t trust it will hold up if I hook a large carp. It does not reel smooth...at all. When the rear drag is engaged, it doesn’t nearly get loose enough for a fish not to notice resistance. Also, I notice with the rear drag there is ot of heavier resistance per rotation of the spool. And one of the plastic pieces where the handle meets the reel doesn’t stay attached.

It is definitely affordable, and not a bad looking reel. But compared to my Sougayilang at the same price, it seems MUCH lower quality.

I bought this reel specifically for carp fishing. After getting my reel the first time, and not being functional at all, I received a message from the seller and they offered me a free replacement to try out. They stated it would be better quality, and upon first opening it, I agree. It looks better built, and the parts are all seem to be working fine. I will update once I fish with it.

Well looks like a great fishing reel but after I put the line in on rhe side of the reel there's a placs to catch the end of the line once on well that piece is broken off there is none..

I have 6 of these reels caught fish over 15lb on all of them now the front drag skips every time I reel in any of themreturned on for the rear drag stopped clicking make sure if u buy to get the protection plan

I bought 2 of these for stripper and catfishing. When they arrived I removed the drag washers, to inspect and grease up. The metal washers had a burr around the edges. I removed the burrs with a file and greased up all the washers. I put them on 8ft. Big Game rods and spooled on 20 lb. Big game line. The reels look great, and have a quality feel. Instant anti reverse is spot on. I caught several good strippers with this setup, ranging from 5.5 to 11.10 pounds. The bait runners were working great to start with, but one of them stopped working after a screaming run with a 6 pound stripper. The reel still fishes fine, but the clicker doesn't click. The other reel is still working fine. Even if the clicker doesn't click, for the money I cant complain.
