Answer: I got it wet, while fishing at Shasta Lake, and had no problem with it for the next 2 (two) days of my trip

Answer: Not a problem just wash the reel down with fresh water before storing it away.

Can anyone tell me what the height and width is for the Ambs- 5501lc ?

Answer: This is a standard sized abu 5500 series casting reel with the electronic line counter attached just above the thumb bar. If you're using an abu 5500 series reel, this should be interchangeable. The abu 5500 series is a round reel, not low profile like the abu Revo, etc..

Does this reel have a noise maker for bait fishing?

Answer: It does not. It is based upon ABU's 5500 series levelwind reel in either right or left hand retrieve and none of the 5500's have a bait clicker that I'm aware of.

Answer: The reel does not have a clicker switch to let you know when line is being taken out. I use mine for trolling for walleye. Works good.
