Wasn’t smooth out of the box and had thought about returning but the more I messed with it the smoother it got and the quieter it got as well. Very light weight. Casting is smooth and casts pretty far.

I was very excited to get a new baitcaster and this just didn't function right out of the box. I've heard good things about 13 fishing and I wasn't impressed. I bought this model and another; they were both defective in different ways. Worst part is I put line on it and wasted that money.

Had it only for a few weeks and it gets squeakier by the second. Can’t believe I am already having to give a $120 reel attention. I would return but I threw out the box.

6/28 Line guide now gets stuck. One year warranty ended 6/2/2021. Trash.
