Excellent reel at a great price super smooth operation the drag feels really good the handle screws on like some of the more expensive Daiwa BG and penn battle reels I will be buying the smaller sizes as well I went with the 4000 and it’s really light weight for casting all day

So, I was selected to write a review. That's not got to be that easy since I haven't received this reel yet. I have other reels from Seaknight and they are all smooth and do there jobs. I got this one to match the hatch with my Googan Squad Green Fience Rod. Hopefully it gets to me so I can pair it up.

I mounted this reel on to a Berkeley rod and the feel was perfect. The reel was so easy to load and operate. So lite and it looks awesome. I would definitely recommend this reel for any application.

So, it was only $30 and I feel I definitely got more than my money's worth. I am quite picky about reels but also don't have big bucks to spend on high end gear. First, although this reel does not have a metal body, it is Very rigid. I can't stand reels that are flexible on the rod when under tension/pressure. This reel is smooth, attractive, and has a great drag. I ordered the 2500 size less than 5min after the 5000 was delivered.
