The lightweight skeletal graphite rotor design cuts out weight in all the right places but doesn’t hurt the structural integrity of the reel. The frame is also made of rugged graphite with a quality and sharp looking silver finish on the outside. The double anodized ported aluminum spool with blue accents is a nice upgrade and helps reduce weight while giving the reel a classy look. The strong and balanced aluminum bail helps lay the line perfectly on the spool every time.

Cooper : Very nice little spinning rod reel

Very nice little spinning rod reel. I've got it on a 7' rod, strung with 5# mono and mainly use it for Crappie fishing. Very smooth retrieve and seems to be durable. So far so good.

This reel is worth every bit of the 30 bux it cost. I believe that lews reels are the best value going. Can't wait to land trout and panfish with this gem. Super smooth. A+ on the anti-reverse. Lightweight. And the 75 is the perfect size for me, i like ultralight but also like a little extra line capacity to allow for longer drifts.

NM : Way More than I expected!

I bought this reel to put on a 6'6" Medium Light rod as a bluegill/crappie set up for my daughter. First day out she's fishing with a piece of hot dog and reels in a 2.23lb large mouth. Next trip she catch a dozen or so bluegill. Then yesterday we were at a local pond and she was bored so I decided to set down my baitcast bass rod and put a 3" ned rig onto her rod since she was off chasing turtles. I caught 3 bass, all around a lb or so. What a blast. This little reel, with 6lb test has really done well, especially for $30.
