I loved this and it caught quite a lot of fish. Unfortunately, I didn't rinse it off enough after fishing on a kayak in the gulf and the salt water ruined it so I bought another!

Junk! 2 fishing trips... bought 3 rods, all 3 do not function. Took them apart, gears are all rusted out. We rinse our poles every trip 2 x, packing and before storing. Cheaply made and not intended for saltwater at all. Very disappointed
