Expensive but worth it for me. I have used chronarchs ever sense the original gold 100sf. You can buy cheaper reels and I have cheaper reels that work as well but not as smooth and I get a tad bit more distance with the chronarch.

Amazing reel. I had an old Shimano Curado from about 15 years ago so didn’t feel like I needed a new one since mine still works great. However, after my husband bought him this new reel, it was so smooth that I secretly wanted a new one. It was a great surprise (not really) to get one for Christmas with a pink rod!! I love my new reel and am ready to catch some fish!

I bought this and the Curado DC... I'm going to sell the Curado DC and buy another Chronarch G. Easy to cast, super smooth. Light Weight and Easy to palm. Can't say enough good things about this reel. I use this reel for inshore saltwater for specks, reds and flounder. Buy it!!!
