This is no question a top notch salmon reel. The only problem to me before is the price, very expensive. With this sale, I bought two. This reel has a very powerful level drag. Although salmon fishing is not like tuna fishing which needs a lot of drag. But big salmon can make pretty long runs and I can rest be sure that they will not out run my reel.
