Is the Daiwa Lexa 400 Wn good for muskie?

Answer: If it can handle tuna and yellowtail here in socal, it should be able to that specie as well.

Whats the biggest braided line and yards you can put on it?

Answer: I use 65. About 200 yards. 50 is best didn’t like the 65 too much.

Answer: On the Lexa400WN I only do 80# braid with backing about 175 yds.. on the Lexa400HD 100# with backing and about 150-175

Does it come on left handed?

Answer: The power handle only comes in right. The H and HL models comes with double handles in left.

Answer: To be honest, im not sure. I got 65lb braid 250yrds and 10 yards of 25lb mono. Hopefully that gives you an idea of how much can be spooled.

Answer: No, It's made is South Korea

Answer: Awesome reel, at 7.1.1, got 2 now plus the 300 model????

Answer: I don’t know your specific technique everyone has different preferences but yes I use this reel for slow pitch it holds plenty of braid, excellent reel very happy with it

Answer: mono capacity (yards/lbs): 245/17, 190/20 - Braid capacity (yards/lbs): 300/55, 200/80

Thomas McCauley : The product is faulty and failed to engage in gear necessary to stop a bite and run fish!

The product was delivered on July 11, 2019. I was not available to actually use the fishing reel until August 26, 2019. After using the product to successfully land (4) fish, I discovered the product has now failed to operate properly. The reel is failing to function when I put the handle into gear. It wouldn't go into gear properly resulting in the inability to stop the bite and run of a fish. The product is faulty and I want my purchase money returned to my credit card. An great reel for a lot of applications. Have caught yellowfin on the colt sniper up to about 35 lbs on them no problem. Casts well, has held up for 2 seasons of above weekend warrior abuse, and the price can’t be beat on these ever since they put out the newest model.

Perfect for my intented use. This reel is gonna take a beating when yellowtail, tuna and whitesea bass season comes through. Been using its older brother the lexa 400hd and I'm sure this one won't disappoint. Pair it up with a heavy action rod(bascially a bass rod) and hold on for dear life. Planning to throw a flurry of surface irons, yo-yos and maybe live bait(deep sea rock bass) on this reel and with the amount of drag built-in, I'm sure it can handle whatever bites.

bought this for my every day fishing in salt, but after 2 months of use it's already taking a dump on me, with it not tightening no matter how i turn the knob to the point where my 6oz swim bait drops without me having to press the button, i can't reel it in because the drag won't tighten. waste of money
