Perfect size for trolling for Silver Salmon in Alaska. I love the counter.

I purchased this reel for catching my live bait. I fish for big game fish and for over a decade and a half I have equipped my boat with shimano tiagra reels, beast masters and stellas, and enjoyed the most dependable and reliable systems for big game ocean fish.... Until I purchased this reel:( I use level wind line counter bait reels to catch live bait and with the experience I have had with shimano I felt confident that this reel would perform as I have experienced with shimano for over a decade and a half. the free spool did not want to work properly, I had to max out both the preset and the drag to barely retrieve my line and no matter what I did to make adjustments it would not work properly. Extremely disappointed with Shimano for the reputation they have built they completely failed with this reel. DO NOT BUY
