Answer: Don't know the year but let us know when u find out. But at 66 lb drag. Who care. Lol. Haven't test it out yet due to nasty weather. Will report back when we drag the grouper out of his hole.

what year is this?

Answer: Not sure when the model was made,but I purchased 2014! The reel is a Beast! Man handles fish kind of not fair for the fish at the end of the line,witch I have 65lbs.braid power pro with 40 fluorocarbon blackwater! Have it on a custom moon calstar ! Hope this helps!
