This is my 6th Lew’s bait-casting reel and is another great bait-casting reel. Have only used a few times so far but compact, precise and reliable. I’ve had other quality brand reels fail after years of use but so far none of my Lew’s reels have shown any problems or issues. Would buy again.

I have caught tons of fish with my Lew’s Mach 2 bait caster since I bought my it it works flawlessly & hands down my favorite reel I own & I own over 25 reels! I had to order another Lew’s Mach 2 bait caster that I will be receiving around the 11th I can’t wait to have a back up one soon! But with the Lew’s Mach 2 bait caster I already have i recently have caught a few nice fish with it proof in the photos! This reel is amazing in my opinion I like it a lot! ????????????

I absolutely love this reel! I researched everywhere and this was the cheapest I could find it while other places have it above $130. I have caught two 2+ lb Largemouth bass since I purchased it and it has had no problems whatsoever!

Have a Lews Fishing SS1SHA Speed Spool that's less expensive and
made out of aluminum, not plastic.

While this reel looks sharp with the 2 tone, fit and finish lacks
quality control. Hoping replacement reel is better and I just
got a lemon.

This was my first baitcast reel and let me tell you, it's incredible. Once I figured out how to properly tune it and cast it was a breeze and so smooth. I love everything about it. I only wish I had read up better on it since I was used to a spinner I ordered a right handed reel (because I'm right handed) but baitcasters sit on top of the rod so the reel is ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I have zero strength or control with my left hand. So I have to cast with my right hand, swap hands, hold the rod with my left hand and reel with my right. Contacting Lew's to see if I can exchange for lefty and if so, it's getting 5 stars all the way!
