It's the 10th, time to do your #happydance! Mystery Tackle Boxes ship today!
When you get your box, post a pic!!
Can't wait....
I wish the mail would hurry up
It seems like our shipping company lost the labels we sent them on the 9th and did not reach out to us until Monday about it. They found them on Monday and sent the boxes out Monday, so we will be a few days behind schedule this month We apologize for the delay.
Man, that means as a Canadian I may not get this box until February
I got mine yesterday. Pretty decent box. I can't wait to try the buzzbait and the swim baits. The VMC hooks are pretty stout as well.
if you guys need someone to test your product, I'm your man
Cheers,
SwagKid300
My tracking info showed it arrived today around noon, but when I got home from work my mailbox was empty. :-(
I am not to flattered with my box. It was my first box through them and most likely my last. I would love to have gotten that buzzbait to try. Nothing really wowed me in my box.

Hmmm anyone else you can ask or maybe neighbors? If it does not turn up, email us at support@mysterytacklebox.com

Thank you for the feedback. Just because you don't get a specific lure this month does not mean you won't get it, or something similar, in a future box!
Any other feedback you have on the box you got would be appreciated!
Still waiting on my box

I am not trying to sound negative because I like the idea that your company, and others like it are trying to do. I was just under the impression that we are getting "new" lures to the market that none have seen yet. I have many poppers, craw tubes and dropshot worms like the Missle Bait. The Reaction crank is the same color pattern as a few rebel cranks, the only difference being the "wake" style lip. For me, as an educator, the $15/month for this to get things I already have or tried is a waste of money. For those in a better financial situation than I, I think it would be more "fun" to get a mystery box.
I would like to give your company kudos to not charging me for a second month before I got my first box like TG did. But, that is another story for other ears.

Thank you again for the feedback. We try and get new baits where possible, for example the Lake Fork Magic Popper is a brand new bait from Lake Fork. We actually got the very first shipment of them and you received one before most big box stores even got them. However, it is difficult to make every bait brand new mainly because there are not enough new products coming out every month to support our subscriber base. We always try and provide a good variety of newer or lesser known baits as well as big name brands.
We will continue to try and improve and we have some exciting things in store for 2014

I'll keep you posted. The post office told me that they'll speak with the carrier about it.
I loved last months box! ready to get this months box.
I absolutely love this box! My favorite thus far ...
Jig and Craw combo
New popper
New popper soft plastic
and the new Other KVD sticker. LOL

So that's what it was...a sticker!
I think my Mystery Tackle Box is lost in the mail I've been tracking it with the tracking number from the email from Mystery Tackle Box, but it says "Electronic Info Received". but hasn't moved anywhere, ugh
This was my 2nd Mystery tackle box, and it is the 2nd one I have been dissapointed with. I bought the 3 month subscription from the start because I saw good videos and feedback from it.
My first month's box contained:
a white R2S Dahlberg Frog
a 4 pack of No Name (MrWiffleLure) plastics with their tails kinked
a 3 pack of Bubblegum Pink Fishbelly Hawg Shads
a Lipless crank from a brand I have never heard of (Kanan Lures) - which turned out to be the best thing in the box
and two hooks
-- I have not tried these baits, so I can not vouch for how well they catch fish. But when I opened this box, there was absolutely NO "wow factor." Also the Hawg Shads came in an oily package that has oil all over the opening and left oily residue on some of the other items in the box. --
My second box:
a Lake Fork Popper
a Tungsten jig
a 2 pack of Fishbelly Popper Shads
a 3 pack of BigBiteBaits tubes
and two hooks
-- I liked this box more than the previous box, but I still don't like the 2 hooks they throw in the box and the sample packs of plastics. I thought I would like the sample packs, but I didn't like what came in them. Also there was some white...stuff on the outside of my pack of tubes, It looks like its just hand lotion, but a gob of it shouldn't be on my pack of lures. I know MTB can't please everybody; I just don't think their service is for me.
My box arrived with an apology from the post office for "misplacing" it.
I got the same box as Felix77, and like the contents. My Lake Fork Tackle popper is in the bone color, and seems to be of good quality.
I am really excited about the Popper Shads used on jigs, and craw tubes are something I've looked at picking up in the spring.
Missile Baits is quickly becoming a favorite company to use, so the Tomahawk worms will get tested hard.
Thanks again for another great box!
I am happy with this box love the R2S frog from last box. And got a big laugh out of the sticker! The worst part about these boxes, is its winter and the lures are teasing me to use them grrr!

As mentioned earleier in this thread, there was an issue at our shipping comany's facility and although they picked the boxes on the 10th, they did not ship them until the 12th. They did not notify of this until the 14th. This has caused a slight delay in the shipping times and tracking updates. But your box should be in transit, hang in there!
Our shipping company has a new protocol in place to ensure this does not happen again.

Thank you for the feedback and we will investigate with our warehouse what the cause of the lotion is. It's likely a spill from one of the packers, as they frequently use lotion to make it easier to handle the paper materials. We will talk with them about putting precautions n place so this won't happen again.
As far as the boxes, are you able to provide more feedback about what it was that you liked when you saw the videos and feedback that you feel was missing from your past few boxes? We are always looking to improve our service based on specific customer feedback. Thank you!

Sure, I'll PM you.
I looked at my box today. I liked everything but have no idea how to fish the 10 inch Mr. Wiffel? I guess a 5/0 hook t-rigged. Anyone have any suggestions? This looks like a good inshore saltwater bait to me not a bass bait but I could be wrong.
Around Virginia, Mr Whiffle is a well known saltwater bait (Striper, bluefish, trout, etc), I've never heard of use in freshwater until I saw this thread
I love my first box! I look forward to experimenting with my new baits in the spring. While everyone may not be happy with their boxes, it is good to see that MTB is so good about interacting here with subscribers and pays such attention to feedback.
MTB is in my head, I watch a show on a guy using tubes, never used them myself, think man guess I should finally give it a shot... MTB shows up I got some tubes... Get out of head!
Spring is sorta nearing I vote for some square bills!

Once you take a picture with the Other KVD, we're in your head for life!
Anyone get one of the boxes not pictured? Let's see some pics!
I agree the MTB support seems great. Love to see them interacting with the consumer.

I got the same box as Felix. Popper was in Baby Bass Ice for me. I'm sure a pike will claim it, but I'll throw it first chance I get.
I'm liking the Big Bite tubes I got. I think that would be a nice flipping tube.
man wish i could have gotten your box then Sparty!....Big fan of the missiles...
Someone at the Post Office (both U.S. and Canadian) must have been eating their Wheaties because my box came in on Monday. Fairly early for us Canucks up north. So to rate the box:
So overall pleased with the box. Three thumbs up.
As of Tuesday 1/21 I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. I checked the tracking number that Mystery Tackle box sent me, but the number is no longer valid, so i' have no way to track it. This was my 1st box to try them out, as I was lured in by the $4.99 1 month trial. So far, it doesn't look like I'll be rejoining. Maybe tomorrow it'll show up

Thanks for letting us know. Obviously shipping is something we have a little less control over as shipping times vary by location and on occasion the post office does lose packages or they get delayed. If you email us at support@mysterytacklebox.com we will definitely investigate and if it was lost in the mail we will replace it for you!
