Hey friends, just a little fun question. I'm curious to see everyones answer.... If you could have your choice of anyone living, to go on a fishing trip with, who would it be and which lake would you pick?
When i really think about all my choices it can be a little difficult...But i would have to say, i might as well learn something in the process. So it would be another fisherman.. I would pick Gerald Swindle (G-MAN) at Falcon lake... I could learn so much from him and laugh the whole time....
warren buffet flipping timber on El Salto
I do fish with a fellow who in my opinion is the best fisherman I ever met. By trade he is a commercial fisherman, does this for fun as he doesn't need to earn a living. He lives on a fresh water canal, I've bass fished with him many times, he's great. Depending on what's running he will take out one of his 3 or 4 boats, unlike many commercial fisherman that hand jig and use winch to pull them in, he uses rod and reel. I've gone with him quite a few times, he has taught me a lot about fishing.
Any of my 8 grandkids
My papa on the Big-O
My dad and twin brother at the O
I believe I would like to fish with Rick Clunn.......just cause.
Other than my wife, daughter and son, I've dreamed about fishing with guys such as Brad Paisley or Hank Parker. I've always liked both of them and think that it'd be a pretty decent day on the water.
With so many great guys it's hard to pick just one, but I'd have to pick Jimmy Houston. He's a great guy and a great fisherman as well. Plus, we go way back!
Guess i should have wrote other than family and friends, i just assumed you could take them anytime you wanted to..
I'd have to say Roland Martin on any of the big bass lake in south FL. My dad and I used to love his fishing show back the the 80's ahh son.
I like to spend a day with Zona....guy cracks me up
Or Rick Clunn...hes been my fav pro for a looooong time
Hmm, I'd have to say KVD. He is from up north like me so I could learn tons from him. What lake? I'd say Lake Michigan for smallies. More specifically Door County, WI. Now that would be fun!
My brothers and my son.
Big O on Pickwick
Any one of the Pro's that have won the Classic. On any of the lakes in West Tennessee.

I actually had the pleasure of a day on the water with him. I believe it was 1998. I drew him and i was the ammature in back of boat at the bass pro legends tourney. He was interesting and a freaking machine to watch. I am still in awe. I learned so much just from watching him.
Heidi Klum. I don't think I need to explain why.
KVD and Rick Clunn.. I'd be askin them questions the whole time askin them why they doing this why that whiy this why that
I'm going to take this a different direction and say my grandfather, who has been gone for 20 years. I don't think he was a great fisherman but definitely enjoyed being on or near the water. I would enjoy the company far more than the lessons that could be learned.
I don´t need to fish with any Pro, nor want to, aside from familiy members ( and my "I don´t know how many times compadre" counts as family ) the list is: I wish I could fish with RoadWarrior, GMan ( don´t matter he changed his nick to Siebert Outdorrs, he´ll always be The GMan for me ), Glenn, Catt and WRB ( those two would have to be together so we all three can disagree on practically anything and everything ).
I'll fishing with anyone once. The trick is seeing if I want to fish with them a second time
Gary Yamamoto on lake okeechobee
Sofia Vergara, and I don't care what lake
Al Linder for any species.
If we could go back in time it would be Billy Westmoreland.
Two folks that have always been more than Interesting. General's Chuck Yeager and Norman Schwarzkopf.(rip)
KVD or Rick Clunn. They have both been very successful for a long time, and I'm sure I could learn a ton.
From Bass Resource: Sonny Nitrofreak Green. We'd be laughing so hard we'd look like drunks with no alcohol on board!
From my family: My dad. He doesn't fish and he's 75 years old, I would love to try and spend that time with him.
From a pro: I would have to say Jimmy Houston.
I'd like to reunite the Scounga Club south of the border.
A-Jay
Jimmy Houston and have him tell Hank Parker stories all day long.
I used to want to fish with Shaw Grigsby. Now it's Jimmy Houston.
Al Lindner on any lake he wants. I've met him a couple of times and know I'd enjoy a day with him smallie fishing.
Yes sir AL Linder sure can put them in the boat, no matter what species it is that for sure.
Gerald "G-Man" Swindle because he cracks me up

Al Lindner fishing smallies on the big river.
I'm fishing the Amazon with Jeremy Wade, river monsters here I come. Might have to borrow some gear though.
Raul, that' s just the short list!
Another vote for Al Lindner.
My first choice would be my best friend, and former principal Tom Shaw. I fished with Tom for 30 years, almost every weekend. Tom had a sudden heart attack that took his life April 11 of last year. No one was exspecting thiis and he showed no signs of having a problem. It has left his family and I with a hole in our hearts that will always be there. I would give almost anything for just one more trip.
As far as a trip with a Pro. I would pick Bill Dance! He has a respect for people he fishes with, and just an all around good guy. I don't know anyone that does not like Bill.
G Man and Snoop Dogg.

I thought about that after I posted. No video cameras would be a rule for sure.
I know you said 'living' people, but since we're in the realm of fantasy, I'd have to say my grandfather on my mother's side. He died before I was really grown enough to take fishing. Mom says that I inherited this 'sickness' from him.
The relatives have said that he'd go out from dawn to dusk fishing. Sometimes he'd go out for days.
I know that we'd have gotten along great.
Bill Dance for me,and he can pick the lake. But really I love fishing with my son and my grandson.Nothing better than seeing the smile on an eight yr old kid, while he's fighting a nice bass.
I totally agree fishing with family is a great thing. Wish i would have had the chance to fish with my grandad, he left this world to soon. . As long as you are a good person, everyone is welcome on my boat. Another lake i would like to fish is Ray Scotts Trophy Bass Retreat.
Al Lindner for sure, anywhere and anytime he wanted to go. There may be some better bass guys out there but as far as multi-species-pick a lake and fish out of the hat, hands down.
Denny Brauer, on a lake with a lot of docks
Clay Dyer
Thank you guys for all your responses, I hope all your fishing dreams come true... Now go catch some fish...
