Charlie Moore has a new book about his rise to glory. It is scheduled to come out in april.
I think I am gonna get it. I like him and I like to read about how Fisherman made it.

I will not be buying the book.
I am from Rhode Island and watched all of Charlie's shows. Lately, he seems "too big for his britches." Making fun of people, acting like a fishing "God" etc. I don't need to hear anyone telling me how great they are. If you have to do that, you probably aren't. Sad prediction (or not) he won't be on much longer...everyone I talk to, even die hard fans, feel the same.
I even got a call back (out of 60,000 applicants) for Beat Charlie Moore on ESPN. I guess because I am so nearby. The producers asked where I fished in RI etc. and said they would get back to me in the spring.....I think I have better things to do this spring... :

I'll check it out. Might be unpopular, but that's OK---- I enjoy reading various books about Bass, and will see for myself. Not being from that neck of the woods, I would have no idea of the "issues" surrounding him. Either way...peace out Blue Dolphins!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Even if the Library gets one copy of it, I still wouldn't waste my time reading it. Just too much solid fishing info

Who is Charlie Moore?? Maybe he should do moore to get his name out (ok, that was EXTREMLY lame!!!! ;D ;D) I've heard of Chester Moore. I have just about all of his books.

As a Yankee & New York sports fan it would really help if he "lost" all that Boston sports stuff he constantly wears. Then again, what can you expect from a guy who spends nearly a whole show being obsessed with Chuck Worlery's hair?
