Thanks!

This should probably be pinned under the main post. Sadly florida is already at 12.13.
If you fish solo or with your younger daughter...are you out of luck with this contest? I could have people witness the measurements, weighing and photographs....but not sure about catching of the bass. Just curious if I need to grab a more consistent partner. Thanks.
Is the lake identifying info required on the fish registration form?
On the checklist I noticed a check box for the three photos required. I also noticed a check box for a video of catch, measurement and release.
Are these both requirements or does one satisfy the need for the other?

2015 Rules allow you to fish by yourself. Just makes the photography a little bit harder, but you can fish alone!

You must fill out the contestant catch form 100% completely and honestly. Polygraphs will be given to state champions by discretion of the BBWC staff. Now, with that being said, 95% of the information is not published, so we are not going to tell the BASSIN community that you fished Steve's Pond, on the north side, ect. Private ponds are eligible, so just list "private pond"

One satisfies the other. I have many questions last year for video of the catch to count, so we included it this year. The complete catch, measurement of length and girth, and a "selfie" on the video is required. Video cards will be returned to the owners.

Don't be discouraged. Bassin' has teamed up with BassResource again for the 2015 tournament to take a BassResource winner. You must be entered with the BBWC to win and post on the BassResource 2nd Chance board!
Rock on.
Thanks for taking the time to answer, Brad.
Where can I find last years results for each state ? I am interested to see what won for the states near me.
I'm also looking to see last year's state by state.
Just keeping this where others can see

Ain't gonna lie, I'm digging this the more I think about it. The results of any online tournament can be skewed. If you go by straight weight, there are obvious advantages for Florida, Texas, Cali, etc. If you do state percentage, you essentially eliminate the possibility of anyone from those states winning, especially Georgia.
Allowing anglers to initially compete agains people in their own state and then putting them on the same body of water, saying "go!" and seeing who comes out on top seems to be about as fair as I can possible imagine.
The boat would be nice too.

as a guy living/fishing in Georgia, i completely agree with you Speed!!
Ok, just perusing forms for no particular reason....
The affidavit that must be signed in front of a notary says "2014 BBWC," does that matter?
Also, at what point in the contest is the Championship Lake announced?

Affidaviate of Eligibility used to needed to be signed with every fish. But we have come to find out, that it is only needed at the finals tournament, the state winners will sign one then. You do not need it for certification of fish.

Around Aug 1. Gotta keep the locals and nearby's off the water.
Perfect!
So, just to clarify (sorry), I need the form where I fill out the top portion and then the witness to measurements fills out the bottom portion. I also have to include lenght pic, girth pic and a pic of me holding the fish.
That's all?
Thanks for answering questions Brad.
SpeedBead . Been there for two finals and believe me it's as fair as it gets. Yes, the boat was nice :-)

You mail in fish entries to BASSIN 12818 S Memorial Dr., #100 Bixby, OK 74008
You can make copies of your certification form incase you catch another fish.
If you need more certifications forms email me. brad.uhl@freshwatermediagroup.com
Our site is down, and in the process of being transferred. Any day we hope it is back up!
Thank you.
Getting closer!
How are the participants notified of the location, date, etc? With two jobs, a wife and a three year old it takes some time to coordinate.

Last year we received a packet in the mail about a month before the tournament with the details. The Tournament was held on Oct. 18th. So if it is anything like last year I would expect maybe early September.
Packets should be here this week or next. Can't wait to get on the water.
