I like the zmax chatter, strike king scortcher spinner, and a strike king kvd swim jig with rage tail chunk.. starting to really like all the rage tail baits.
Anything made by Strike king.
Rage Tail Craws and Space Monkeys
rage tail craws are very good. I havent tried the space monkey.yet
Anything I can rig up shakey head style. But thats after some kind of topwater lure. Mainly buzzbait.
Right now I'm battling a pretty serious swim jig addiction.
anything rage, but im a big fan of swimbaits.
I dont have a favorite but I have a group of "producers". Each type of bait I have in a watermelon, watermelon red, and junebug.
- Zoom trick worm
- Zoom ultravibe worm
- Zoom brush hog
- Rage anaconda
- Rage space monkey
- Havoc pit boss
- Jig
- Heddon torpedo
I dont have one favorite. ALL these are my favorite.
Berkeley 7 inch power worm
Zoom baby brush hawg
What ever the fish are biting on that given moment. I do like Normans Deep Little N and Hula grubs alot though.
Rage craws are good. But I LOVE fishing a weightless Super fluke.
Jig/Rage!
Way too many to say i have one favorite. Big fan of most of the Rage tail line. I love just about anything SK as far as jigs, spinnerbaits, cranks and lipless cranks go. Berkley havoc pit boss and craw fatty are some on my good list. Yum Dingers and GYCB senkos. Rattle traps. Cotton cordell super spots.
Im a tackle junkie, I love them all!!!!!
I make any excuse to fish a frog. Hollow body or toad style doesn't matter. I get goosebumps just thinking about the extreme violence of a decent bass exploding on a frog. If I could afford to I would travel the world fishing frog the whole year.
Jigs and beaver style baits
trick worm on a shakeyhead
If I can't catch them on one of those 3 baits there's a good chance I'm not going to catch any fish.
All Terrain senkos,Berkley power worms,Money Minnows, Skinny Dippers, Any Havoc baits, and trick worms... can't have enough trick wormss lol. oh and sweet beavers
Whatever bait is going to work best under the conditions I am facing would be a good answer. However, I do have preferences like we all do. I am most comfortable fishing jigs and soft plastics for sure.Although I do feel I fish other techniques well, it is bottom bouncing baits that I do best.
As far as brands, Jigs and spinnerbaits: I make my own, soft plastics: Yamamoto and NetBait, Cranks: Poes, Norman and Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps, swim baits: I have limited experience with them and have been doing some work to correct that this year so I don't really have any preferences yet.
caught most of my largies on a jig when its all said and done
Caught most my smallies on a spinnerbait and senko
I really don't have a specific brand that I could say is my favorite, but I catch the most fish on these three (not necessarily in order).
Jig
T-rigged ribbon-tail worm
Crankbait
gotta fish what works. and that often changes lol
My favorite would be Rebel Pop R
Zoom Toads are a close second,
There is just something a little better about the bait sitting still then BAM versus TiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzBAM ....both are cool!!!
Zoom Baby Brush Hogs.Watermelon Magic
yall tried the strike king sexy frog? im thinking about giving it a shot
Ragetail Space Monkey in Black with Blue Flake.
Mine seems to be a Live Target craw in brown/orange. Also have had good luck with a 10" worm on a football jig.
Right now I suffer an OCD with Skitter Walks.
just purchased some rage tail frogs, shad, craw space monkey and chunks. going to try out this weekend
small-1/8oz or less-cranks,jerkbaits or jigs.Just more succesful with them then their bigger counterparts
Jigs with some kind of matching trailer.
I love using spinner baits, and this lure that resembles a shiner, but my favorite but the most expensive are LIVE SHINERS
I love fishing buzzbaits followed closely by spooks.
Mike
texas rigged gary yamamoto senkos are probably my biggest producer.. but I love to fish frogs, got a few SPRO frogs, also going to try the strike king sexy frog..
other than that I fish spinners and buzz baits with good success... haven't done a whole lot of crank bait fishing yet, but am going to start soon... most of the ponds and lakes I fish are have very heavy vegetation, which makes the texas rigged senko my go to set up in order to keep from hauling in a million weeds.
It's hard to say, but lately it's been a War Eagle double willow spinnerbait. The Super Spook is up there too along with a jerkbait when the time is right.
Senkos, reaction innovations skinny dipper, chigger craws, and roboworms.

Jigs.
Crank baits made by me
