I will be using a medium heavy rod and throwing only 3/8oz spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, fishing in shallow water 10ft the deepest. Heavy vegetation to moderate some structure, what would be the best pound test to use?
I throw mine on 30 lb. Straight braid.

Same here
My 1/2 oz and less I'm throwing on 20# braid, over that on 50#.
I use 16 pound fluoro and never had a problem on spinnerbaits. Buzzbait is usually straight braid 50#

Ditto

I use 14 lb mono.
12 lb. Big Game. Spinnerbaits are 3/8 and 1/2, single blade, double blade and tandem. Just pulled in a nice one this PM on a 3/8 double Colorado. jj
30 lb braid.
30lb PowerPro

I agree! Or even 12 if the water is clear
12 # mono ... most of the time ... mostly throw 1/4 to 3/8 oz. spinnerbaits using mostly colorado and indiana blades gold and silver ... white & white/chartreuse skirts ... 1/6 1/8 oz. spinnerbaits 8 & 10 lb. mono on spinning tackle ...
like humdingers for 1/4 3/8 ... h&h and academy for the small spinners ...
good fishing ...
Open water around light vegetation and smaller spinnerbaits I'll go down to 10lb, otherwise I'm using 18lb. But that's really just because of the leader line I keep on me (10, 18, and 25). Ideally I'd probably go 15lb most of the time.

Yup. 12 is more than sufficient also if you aren't worried about being dragged into any brush, etc.
15lb mono
15-20lb Big Game or Pline depending on the amount of cover.
12 lb Big Game .
12-17 lb mono or 30-50 braid.
12 lb mono or fluoro, I don’t like throwing spinnerbaits on braid, they don’t tent to be forgiving and repeated use can destroy a spinnerbait balance and even destroy the bend on the wire. I tend to destroy spinnerbaits so I don’t throw 3/8 oz and larger spinnerbaits. I prefer the smaller ones, pond magic, 1/16 oz to 1/4 oz at the biggest. I fish a lot of skinny water. Depths of 6 feet maybe 8 feet max.
Another vote for 30lb straight braid. If I could only have one line, this would be it.

This except Yo-Zuri Hybrid over Pline ????
Sniper Sunline 16# test, never had a breakoff that I can remember.
12-15lb Big Game.

Save the dough and use mono for spinner baits and buzz baits. I like 15lb pline, but most quality mono in the 12 - 17lb class will do just fine. Only time I use floro on my spinnerbaits is when I'm slow rolling them in late fall when the bites are subtle and i want them to run deep. Never used anything but mono on a buzzbait and I throw them alot, especially right now.
20lb straight braid all day, it is physically impossible to break off, as well as providing a more solid hook set due to the low stretch. Honestly though, it probably doesn't even matter that much which line you use.
12 or 15 Lb Copoly or mono for Spinnerbaits. Buzzbaits 15 Lb or heavy braid.
I use 1/2 ounce spinnerbaits and use 12# Sufix Siege.
14-16# Mono or Fluoro. Trilene XL for the mono Sunline shooter for the Fluoro. I throw spinner baits a lot! Spinner of choice is 3/8-1/2 oz River2sea double willow. White, Chartreuse or the combo of the two.

16# flouro for spinnerbaits and 40# braid for buzzbaits
15-20# Stren Hi Impact. Never had a problem.
If I was fishing in an area where big bass were more common and there was a lot of cover I would go with 15 lb Big Game but 12 lb has worked well for me . I cant recall a bass ever breaking it off while chucking spinnerbaits .
10lb Berkeley XL
never had an issue
15lb fluorocarbon for me. I'll go to 17 or 20 if I'm fishing in nasty stuff or fishing at a place that has a lot of big fish
12 lb. McCoy Mean Green or Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
15 lb Big Game.
I have used anywhere from 12-17lb mono or fluoro or 30 or 40lb braid. 15lb mono or fluoro seems to be the all around happy line for spinnerbaits as that has enough to pull them through most weedy areas just fine.
14 lb flouro
