Good or bad....I go back and forth on this daily
I suppose Amazon has spoiled me with this, but I love a wishlist. For me it makes it easy to let my family know what I want when they are gift shopping, and ensures I get what I want or need. This becomes especially convenient when talking tackle. It is much easier to share my wishlist with my wife than tell her I want a specific bait in a specific color or weight.
This doesn't even touch on the convenience of being able to spend a couple days researching and putting together a purchase. Just recently I was looking to make a tackle purchase. I built my cart on TW, only to get called away. By the time I got back the cart was gone. I was frustrated enough that I actually purchased those items from another vendor. If I can't get a wish list then at least allow the cart to last longer than it currently does (say 1 day). I understand that this is an additional load on their infrastructure, but I have to wonder how many other sales they have lost out on.
To be honest it gets me pretty upset! Also another thing they do is when something is not in stock anymore it disappears from the website. I bought a Damiki Dark Angel rod and went back to submit a review and they took the rods off the site!
I'd love for them to get a wish list....
I say bad. My last order was a few hundred dollars and I left it for a night. Went to place the order the next day and it was gone. Now I just take a screenshot of my shopping cart

Amazon carries a few spinnerbaits I can't find the Mann's classic double Colorado 1/4oz gold. This is getting harder to find. I need to fill up a box of these too.
I just use a pad and pen.
I'm always taking pictures of my computer screen with my cell phone so I remember things, but that doesn't save my work. Seems like a wish-list would be a nice addition.
Perhaps they have legitimate reasons not to do it. Maybe they think people would be more inclined to order less often, waiting until their list reached a certain amount to save on shipping? Maybe they believe people would be more likely to leave the site and price shop items that they might have went ahead and ordered if it were convenient to do so? I'm just thinking out loud. More likely it's a pain in the neck on the technical side.
Why not just take a screen shot? seems easier than digging out your phone to take a pic.
I would definitely like to have a wish list. Just being able to put it all in one place and keep it as a clickable list would be KEY.
The Thing I love the Most about Tackle Warehouse and the main reason I order from them is obviously the selection and specialty to bass fishing, but more importantly, I find that the reviews for products to be 100% honest, unfiltered, and it seems the average customer who comments is a bit more educated on fishing than other websites. I can't stand reading.... "Best lure ever, caught a 4lber first cast."...
I think that leaving feedback for companies is a huge way to help with future business, and if you feel a lure does not do what it says, it is alway's best to be honest, and can give valid reasons (IE. Lure did not suspend on 14lb test mono, warm weather, however adding a Larger Hook or adding 1 suspend dot did the job"...I have ordered alot of good lures and line based on reviews where I could tell the customer knew what he was talking about and used the lure more than 1x. I like to give feedback on a new lure after a few trips, and have found some awesome "odd baits and brands" from reading reviews.....
I am dying to get on that site right now and order every color of the Ima Skimmer, New Evolve Hardbaits which I have heard great things about, and I have to get my hands on this Jackall Boil Topwater.....and I want to try some new suspending jerkbaits from a new Japanese company like Evergreen as I love trying new stuff...Tackle Warehouse always gets me...$50 is my target, and I end up struggling to get it under $100 when I realize I need line, weights, accessories, and nobody beats them for having an organized site to find anything.....Got off topic as usuall, but I don't like wish lists, they cause me to overspend....
I have a word document that I put my want list in. Copy url, paste in doc, then when I want to look just go to doc and click on product. Pages for BPS TW Cabelas GM

I believe that rod has been discontinued...or TW isn't carrying them anymore. They were in the clearance section for awhile. They do keep out of stock items on the site, often with a date listed of when they expect it to be restocked.
I wish they had a wish list or a way to save your cart. It can sometimes be a pain to go back and find everything you had added to your cart.
There's a program I use to screenshot the computer screen. It's called lightshot. All you have to do is press prntscr on your keyboard, and go over the area you want to screenshot.
Or you can just hit alt-print screen, lol.

This program gives you a nice link to download the picture from though
somedays I'm glad my cart is not saved for long....
other days...I leave my cart page open, come back later and click buy...
waiting on some stuff getting delivered tomorrow...shhhh...she has no idea yet...
In my case, my phone is always with me (basically stuck to my hand). Between work, home, and my laptop, I never know what computer I'll be on. I suppose I could "print" the screenshot and carry a piece of paper around, or email it to myself. I'd rather just have a pic that I always have with me and can reference when I'm at the store or wherever. But hey; I confess to not knowing how to do a "screenshot" before. I'm learning new things every day.On 9/18/2014 at 1:42 AM, J Francho said:Why not just take a screen shot? seems easier than digging out your phone to take a pic.
I hear you. My keyboard is always attached to my computer.
I just started to write down everything I wanted because of this. Takes a little bit longer but what can you do about it.

All here can go to the TW message board and ask for one.
All here can call TW ask for one
All here can email TW ask for one
All here can go to the TW FB site and ask for one
A person could contact TW and inform them of this thread to see the poll

Not that I think I'd ever do it, but... how do you do it? Man, I'm a paper & pencil guy too!

This simply just isn't true. Tackle Warehouse always keeps items out of stock still on their site, it will either show "Out" under the quantity in stock, or it will show an expected arrival date of that product to come back in.
Only items that have been discontinued and that they no longer have in stock do they actually take off of the site.
No wishlist doesn't bother me personally, I keep my computer with a bunch of browsers of products I want all open, OR if I plan to shut the computer off, a simple screen shot and saving it as a GIF on my desktop works.

Use PRINT SCREEN. It is easier.
Was just complaining about this today to my wife. It would be nice to be able to add things on a list and then place a large order. I'm horrible and always forget something I needed because my wife likes throwing my list away when she finds it.
My girlfriend mentioned that she spent so much money on a makeup website that she is now a preferred customer and gets early access and exclusive events.
Wish TW had this
Microsoft windows comes with a Snipping Tool under ur accessories folder. I use it for alot b/c you can crop the image and not include all the personal info on ur desktop
OE, Alt -PrtScr and paste into Word or Paint.
... and "paste" is the same as "copy"?
oe
Paste is what you do after you "copy," which is what you did when you took the screen capture with Alt - PrtScr. Ctrl-v would be the shortcut for pasting what you copied.
This explains it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/take-screen-capture-print-screen#take-screen-capture-print-screen=windows-7
I always wished they had a wishlist. BassPro does and I enjoy saving stuff on there for future reference.
A wishlist would be nice, but I normally keep a Post-It note book beside my computer that I write down what all I need on, that way I can get everything I need on each order.
I keep an Excel database of all my lures, what I need, what has been lost/needs to be replaced, etc...
