JJ's Magic 2025

fishing user avatarThe Skeeterjim reply :

For those of you out there like me that use dye to change your plastic baits or trailer presentation, you need to check out JJ's Magic.  I have been using this dye for about one year now and have taken the other well known dippin dye out of my boat!  This dye is loaded with a ton of garlic and the dye color and garlic smell stays with the bait all day long.  They have five colors of dye.  I like the clear dye for dipping to get the garlic smell, but not change the natural presentation.  You guys need to hunt this stuff up because I'm telling ya this stuff is awesome plus the fish hold on the bait longer with the magic in their mouth.

fishing user avatarburleytog reply :

fishing user avatarchristopherjake reply :

I couldn't get a bite on this stuff last year....I absolutely hated this stuff.

I used it for Nasal cleanser once last year when i started getting a cold.

This year however,I'm actually having luck now.I'm not totally convinced, but I'm slowly liking this stuff this year.I need to get the clear, when they don't want the chartreuse color.

fishing user avatarGatorbassman reply :

Welcome to Bassresource Skeeterjim. Were just having a little fun with ya man. JJ's Magic is an advertiser on these forums. Many of us know the stuff very well.

strike one for shameless self publicity  :D

fishing user avatarThe Skeeterjim reply :

All I know is this stuff works very well as most of you I guess already have figured out.  I live in Oklahoma and when my buddies would get in the boat and I would open the lid of the "juice" they would ask me what in the world is that stuff!  After wearing them out on this stuff, I now have to make sure they aren't carrying off my supply.

Since JJ is well known around this forum, just make sure you all spread the word to help this company out!!!!!!

It's not hard to talk up a great product!

fishing user avatarGatorbassman reply :

It is some great stuff. I talk to JJ almost every day. He deserves all the help we can give him. The stuff is awesome. And I use it every day I'm on the water.

Once again, welcome to the family. This is a great forum. Even though some of our members like sticking their jabs a little low.

fishing user avatarDINK WHISPERER reply :

It's all in good fun man! We don't mean no harm by it................................

WELCOME

fishing user avatarcart7t reply :

It's JJ's Magic right?

Too make sure I spell it right in google, how do you spell JJ?

fishing user avatar=Matt 5.0= reply :

Does it trigger a "genetic response" that entices fish to bite?

likely so.......

every medical textbook that i have ever read,

states clearly that.....

"Any animal that consumes food, thusly loves its food with garlic."

its clear as day.

fishing user avatarThe Skeeterjim reply :

Ok guys, first of all no hard feelings.  I have learned the new guy gets the abuse.  JJ called me and asked me to post a message about the "juice".  I am willing to help JJ any way I can, because I use to write a blog for BASSIN magazine online website until they let my contact go due to the ecomony.  I am hoping he gets started with the person he is currently talking to, but JJ is the only guy (or company) that hasn't used me for all I'm worth and then won't return my calls and I really appreciate JJ for that.  I also have caught some really good five fish limits with the juice.  I have also put some money in my pocket with this great product!

I had never been to this website before, but I will con't to visit so give the new guy all the grief you want.  I'm a Oklahoma State COWBOY fan so I'm use to to it from all the pain in the --- OU fans!

Until next time be safe out on the water.

fishing user avatarLong Mike reply :

I'm a JJ's fan, but I've found that it has two drawbacks. First, it doesn't do well in the heat. Secondly, it draws flies - big time. On a recent outing with the temp above 100, I was going to dip my lure in a bottle of JJ's clear. When I opened the cap it fizzed over and dripped all over my boat. At first I wasn't too concerned, but when the flies started appearing it got to be a real pain. These weren't ordinary flies. These were the flies you see on garbage piles and corpses. Where they came from, I don't know, but there were hundreds of them. We had to fire up the big motor and de-*** the area. As soon as we got back on the trolling motor again, here came the flies. It took about an hour or so for that stuff to evaporate enough to stop drawing the flies.

JJ's is great stuff, but from now on, it stays in my air-conditioned shop until fall.

Are you sure it was the JJ's the corpse flies were attracted to?

:D

OWNED!!

de-*** the area...

nice.

fishing user avatarroadwarrior reply :

Long Mike,

Those kind of flies are scary...

You don't need to bring JJ's Magic on your boat.

Marinate your plastics outside at home and seal

them in the heavy plastic bags most baits come

in. Once soaked, the stink is permanent. There is

no reason to transport the stuff.

Good point. Isn't there a law against transporting hazardous materials across state lines anyway?  ;D
