If you had $100.00 to spend on baits what would you buy.
Ive spent a good bit just wondering what yall would buy?
I fish TVA waters (guntersville, Wheeler, Wilson, Pickwick)
That's funny, because I just ordered $100 worth of baits from Tackle Warehouse. I got 12 more packs of Rage Craws in Falcon Lake Craw color, and 8 packs of 7" Rage Tail Thumpers. Can't run out of those baits!
Rage Tails, Spro frogs, and jigs.

I just stocked up on Craws. Like REALLY stocked up. I also got some Shads, Roosters, and two bags of Hawgs. Those Hawgs are going to be big for me this year I believe. Now all I need to get is a couple packs of a bait that will remain unnamed except to a select few.
I think I'm good for a while.
Or at least a month. ;D
Yea Ive stocked up on Jigs, rage craws.
If I have 100 dollars now, then I'll buy different type Jigs and trailers.
If we're just talking soft plastics I would go:
1) Fat IKA
2) Baby Rage Craws
3) Roboworms
4) Flukes
5) Senko type worm
A mix of natural colors and black / blue.
I was hoping to hear something i already don't have a lot of lol....
For Guntersville? To cover the year, a few of red lipless cranks, a few crankbaits to cover 10'-16', a few 3/8 oz. screwlock shakey heads (try that with a Zoom Mag II worm on shell beds), a few hollow-body frogs.
a couple of red eye shads
a shallow, medium, and deep diving crank
a Yozuri jerkbait
a zara spook
a buzzbait or two
The rest I would spend on senko style baits and Zoom trick worms.
im not gonan sit here and name baits, but probably a couple different new soft plastics some jigs another spinnerbait or too and then a larger variety of crankbaits and hard jerkbaits (rapala husky jerks)
I have a ton of stuff already. I don't really Need more, but there is stuff I still Want...
I'd get:
Kopper's Live Target Frogs (2-3) = $20-30
The rest I'd spend on old Brass HW Bagley baits on Ebay.
I'd get some ogf Big M's custom cranks and some of these bad boys http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/New%20lures%20in%20the%20box/?action=view¤t=WECZ-1BullBream.jpg
I would get the following:
Netbait paca craw
Netbait paca chunk
Strike king premier pro model jig
Strike king Redeye shad
Bandit 100,200,and 300 series crankbaits
Rapala shallow shad rap and the regular shad rap
Shad rap number 5 and 7

Rage craws
Spro Frogs
Zoom Flukes
Senko's

I've been meaning to ask how the thumpers are. So how are they?
I'm a huge fan of space monkies and smokin roosters but have yet to try out the thumper.
I just picked up a pack of Anacondas and eliminators to try out.....The action looks awesome and as soon as the Ice melts away I'm going to give em a whirl.
What size Thumpers do you use?
Thanks

Ask EastTexasBassin, he slays them on those, lol.
$50 on paycheck transporter frogs
$50 on CLU jigs
;D
I haven't had the itch to buy much this winter....Been too busy saving up and figuring out which tattoos to get.
Of course I'd buy $100 worth of the SK KVD 1.5 in Chart w/ Black back!!!! LOL ;D
since i recently stocked up at a few other places.....I guess id stock up on terminal tackle and get a bunch of Booyah Counter Strike buzzbaits in Luna color
Tubes and spinnerbaits. And a few jigs
CRankbaits all day, norman fat boys. Also some jigs and jig trailers. RT Jigs by outkast are great(thanks to j fran)
Lately I have been a huge fan of the 7" version of the Thumper, but the 10" is killer in muddy water, or for swimming. Maybe mix it up and get a couple bags of each. I almost always use the cut tail, except when using it at night.
1.) Storm Wildeye Swim shads.
2.) jigs, and trailers
3.) Berkley Chigger Craws
4.) Zoom baby brush hogs
5.) Zoom Superflukes.
6.) Zoom Magnum Lizards
7.) Various Bandit crankbaits.
That's easy, I'd buy $100 worth of jelly worms.
I did recently. Zoom Trick and Finesse worms.
15 bags of watermelon seed Zoom trick worms and 15 bags of junebug Zoom trick worms..
Rapala dt crankbaits, dt4 thru dt20!
