If you could only use one bait for the rest of your life, what would it be? I saw this in a magazine, so I thought I would ask it here...
spinnerbait

Why so mad ?
Spinner bait.
A Jig.
Jig
Trick Stick or Spinnerbait......(can't make up my mind!)
Spinnerbaits you can cover a lot of water, hop it, jerk it, straight burn it in, slow roll......
The trick stick/senko is just as versatile....hop it, jerk it like a jerkbait, drag em, wacky rig em....
Guess I'll go with a trickstick/senko for the waters that I fish.
I sure do like a jig too.
Big O
Spot Remover Jighead with a finesse worm.
Plastic worm.
Jig and pig. Very versatile. My "other" choice would have been a Senko.
Have to be a toss-up between a jig and a Senko for me.
minnow bait-either floating/diving or suspending.
Thats a tough one. If i could have three it wouldnt be so tough, but just one...... a 3:16 Wake Jr. in Kokanee pattern.
This is a tough question because in my mind would I pick what catches the most fish or what enjoy catching fish on the most? Since I fish for enjoyment and not limits I would have to say Zoom Horny Toad. Nothing excites me more when they explode on the toad...
QuotePlastic worm.
cant go wrong there!!!
shaky head with 6 inch worm or spinnerbait
QuotePlastic worm.
X3
With a jig, you can cast, pitch, hop, crawl, drag, rip, punch, swim, dress it up, dress it down, and just plain fall in love with it.
Big O
T-rigged berkly power worm, going with a 1/16th oz weight if there was even a little wind, i like to be stealthy
Jig, but a topwater, especially a hollow frog would definetly be my 2nd choice.
I'd take a zoom super fluke watermelon red or camo
senko
A 6" Roboworm on a shakey head or a GYCB Kreature T-rigged with a 1/8 oz weight.
Since I am new and only have been fishing a 5'' stick tick Watermelon seed most of the time and had the most strikes with it. I'll have to say Trick Stick so far

This is a fishing forum, not a dating forum.... keep it clean Big ;D jk.
6" Hudd ROF 12 Juvenille Trout. I only have 3-4 fish on this bait, but it's got potential, and SB's are fun to throw.

Sure thing jk, Just got a little wound up there thinking about my jig box! Got a new bigger set up going and gonna let it loose on 'em this evening, can't wait!

5" Watermelonseed w/ black flek senko
I zoom trick worm in green pumpkin
Jig and Piggie...very versatile
Wave-worms tiki stick - I like the 5" Watermelon Black Flake chartreuse tip.
Second choice would be a ribbit frog.
6in senko junebug or pumpkin seed w/black and green flake
when i go out i usually am t-rigging, wacky-rigging or weightless t-rigging so that bait covers what i throw the most and what has caught me my best bass.
or I a 1.5 ounce jig black purple and blue never caught a fish on it but i sorta have a crush on this bait so that would be fun to throw for a lifetime i would for sure finally catch a bass on it LOL
plastic worm
5in Senko black with blue flake.....
With out a doubt a plastic worm. But a jig with a crawl trailer would be a close second.
Worm

Yeah, Tiki Man Wave Worms are the best. Love the C-rig Greenpumkin/Char. MOLOPO.
Love top water spooks

It's funny you mentioned that; after a strong year in my club, the Oklahoma State top 6 tournament had me paired on day 2 with a gentleman that threw a blue fleck Power worm attached to clear blue fluorescent Stren. His line glowed like a flare in the sun, and he caught fish. My fluorocarbon line and Zoom Speed Craw didn't fare as well (this is a panic box bait for me!). He had two fish to my zero. My partner was an old schooler with grey hair and he apparently had something to teach.
Black/Blue Jig.
worm
3/8oz double Colorado blade chartreuse and white spinnerbait!
Fluke....but it was a hard choice because I love throwing a Spot Remover.
