How Many Different Color Worms Do You Keep On The Boat? 2024

fishing user avatarjdb65 reply :

Just curious, I have 8 different colors ranging from light to dark.

fishing user avatarflippin and pitchin reply :

Four

fishing user avatarSDoolittle reply :

I honestly have no idea how many different colors I have. I have tons of soft plastics in dozens of colors, but the vast majority of them never see daylight.

fishing user avatarMarty reply :

Generally two, a dark and something lighter.

fishing user avatarbuzzfrog reply :

about 5, green pumpkin, pumpkin, june bug, red bug the basics, and a few watermelon colors

fishing user avatarendless reply :

As much as I can fit into my worm bag. I have tons of colors and styles. To name some watermelon, watermelon red, green pumpkin, green pumpkin watermelon laminate, bama bug, june bug, plum apple, black blue laminate, etc

fishing user avatarCrankenstein Crony reply :

Couple watermelon colors, pumpkin, green pumpkin. I like to keep my colors simple and natural.

fishing user avatarww2farmer reply :

In just about all of my plastics, I only carry 4 basic colors, with a few variations on those basic colors. For example, green pumpkin is one of my staples. But in a few baits, on a certain body of water, I like green pumpkin with a certain color of flake in it. Why? IDK, probably all in my head, but it gives me a little extra confidence sometimes knowing that this combo of color/flake has produced before.

Same here.

fishing user avatarBrianSnat reply :

Usually green pumpkin, watermelon, june bug and chartreuse. Sometimes black.

fishing user avatarHooligan reply :

I typically have five colors in most of my baits. Very rarely do I venture outside those unless it's a very specific lake or condition. In many cases, I fish only two colors on local waters.

fishing user avatarA-Rob reply :

one realistic (ie watermelon or green pumpkin)

one dark (junebug, red shad etc)

If I can get it in bama bug, I just fish that all the time

That's how I try to keep the $$ down
