How do you guys like to catch your fish? For me I love to fish a jig. They always produce for me, and I have tons of confidence in them.
Spinnabait but I catch more fish pitchin.
Allen
Topwater is the most fun for me, but far from the most productive. It's a blast seeing a bass (or more lately a northern pike) crush a topwater bait.

Agreed. Love to throw a frog, but don't catch many on it.
I love catching bass on square bill crankbaits, its awesome when your reeling it in and a bass hammers your crank so hard your line goes slack...
Skipping docks with Senkos
Top water is the most fun. Nothing is as good as watching a bass explode on a poper. But the most effective method for me is throwing a shallow diving crankbait. Find a downed tree sitting over a pond and throw them in 4-6 feet of water, it kills bass. They always hit either close to the submerged branches of the tree "perfect ambush points for bass" or in the shadows of trees on the bank "cooler water in the shade".
T-rigs and jigs are probabily my favorite baits to fish especially in deeper water, but honestly i like to do everything except C-rig ( i do it i just dont like to ) spybaiting, and dragging a tube, oh and I dont like big swimbaits either, as pike and muskie love to tear them up.

DROPSHOT
Shallow jerkbait. Suspended animation in clear water. I fish it year round, all times of day. Have two Shimano boxes full of different baits, and they all do something a little different. Find the right cadence, pause length, and twitch motion and I can catch most every species.
My favorite wya to fish is a bottom contact bait and I'm usually throwing a jig or t-rig.
i love fishing a dropshot
Ultralight
Not necessarily my most productive technique, but I love the jerkbait!
I love top water and jerkbaits

Im with this guy!
Although the t-rig out produces both for me in a given year
I catch most of my fish on a c-rig, but top water is obviously the most fun.
I have done nothing but dream about punching mats this year- so right now, I guess that's my favorite!
The least productive is my most favorite ---> fishing topwater with a Jitterbug.
Flippin' in the nastiest cover around.
Dragging a shaky head rigged craw over rocks, UL fishing with small cranks and spinners and punching are my favorites.
I love to fish a spinnerbait. I feel like my level of focus increases while my level of stress decreases. I know that I will catch something given enough time.

Flippin & pitchin a t-rig or throwing a jerkbait.
Ultralight tackle
I really Love Chunking & Winding ~ Long bombing or target casting.
Looking for the right depth, action, speed and angle all make me happy and keep me focused.
So fishing most any moving bait suits me just fine - especially if it's getting clobbered on a regular basis.

For me the most exciting fishing you can experience is topwater. It's all about the approaching wake or explosion and seeing the bite. Cool times.
My second favorite fishing is the jerkbait. Anticipating the bite just before it happens is really fun.
I love heavy line, heavy rod, heavy jig fishing. I love fishing a jerkbait in the spring too but I think that's mainly because it's the first thing they start hitting that isn't super slow moving after the long, cold winter.
My favorite way to fish is topwater. Starting with the frog. That is by far my favorite. Following with burning Uvibe worms and spinnerbaits.

^^^what this man says.
Swimming a jig or working a t-rigged Senco around lily pads.

Swimming jigs / spinnerbaits are becoming a favorite of mine too
It is either a jig or a jitterbug. I can't decide.
Topwater!
Handline?

I love super finesse fishing with ultra light lines and small baits. You would be surprised with the size of the bass you catch, especially the smallmouth. Other then that I love deep cranking and fishing jigs around cover.
My favorite way to catch fish are with shallow to mid depth Crankbaits and Top water! Man O man there is nothing like seeing a bass explode on a spook.
Square bill crankbaits and a dropshot
Top water !!! Buzz bait or a poes cedar ace in the hole after a good tuning of the blades. Nothing in the world sounds like those once you have the blades bent just right.
Top water is the most exciting using a popper or twitch bait ... A spinner bait followed by a jig is the most versatile .
Cranking!
Bottom contact. Jigs, t-rigs, and shallow dropshotting.
Topwaters hands down. I love pitching jigs and creatures too though. It's all fun though, though I would say drop shotting is my least favorite.
Biffle Bug on a 7/16oz hard head with a cotton ball dipped in JJ's Magic stuffed in the hollow cavity, and the tail dipped about a 1/4 up. Fish flat out nail it.
I'd have to say my favorite is probably dragging a t-rig along the bottom. But I'd be fibbing if I said I didn't enjoy a top water blow up also.
Dropshot became my favorite this year and I don't ever not have it on the deck when fishing it's become a confidence thing. Especially when a 3# just taps it ever so slightly then proceeds to try and rip the rod out of your hands when trying to get him away from the cover lol followed by crankbaits man I love those things
Tight lines
Andrew
Successfully.
That said, totally frogs. Then finesse.
Topwater and crankbaits
A very recent discovery but without a doubt my favourite way to fish for bass is with topwater frogs. I don't catch nearly as many but when I do they are on average bigger fish than the ones I catch using other methods. Not to mention the blowups! Surface strikes get the heart pumping like no other.
I can say with 100% certainty that a 3/8 oz double willow white spinnerbait is both my favorite and most productive lure. But my PB was not caught on a spinnerbait. My PB is 8lbs and my PB on a spinnerbait is 5lb.

Me too.
A jig or a drop shot but probably a jig if I had to pick just one.
Squarebills are definitely my favorite! Another one of my favorites is the soft jerkbait. I love the bite, your line just starts to swim away and you reel in the slack and set the hook hard!
