Favorite Color Roboworm 2025

fishing user avatarfisherrw reply :

As the topic states. What is your fav color roboworm.

fishing user avatarthehooligan reply :

Mean green has always worked well for me.

fishing user avatarJaheff reply :

Different colors for different lakes even tho they are crystal clear. Margarita Mutilator (MM111) works in one, and Bold Bluegill works in the other.

Aarons magic for stained water has worked for me, among many other brands and colors. Rage tail

fishing user avatarSam reply :

Morning Dawn on a drop shot.

fishing user avataraavery2 reply :

Morning Dawn, MMIII, Aaron's Magic. I don't think they make many bad colors.

fishing user avatarDarren. reply :

My fav is TBD at this point.

I've used a few in the past, but now I've got some

of the FAT worms. I've only tried once and only with

Pumpkin Punisher (I've got a few other colors) while

shore fishing a small pond with a buddy.

Caught 1 bass on it. So that was a success. Can't wait

for the warmer weather and pre/spawn to try the rest

out.

fishing user avatariabass8 reply :

Aaron's magic

Meanie Weenie

fishing user avatarCrankinstein reply :

Aarons morning dawn. Bait ball. Margarita Mutilator. Aarons magic

fishing user avatar*Hank reply :

Bait ball.

fishing user avatarFelix77 reply :

Aarons magic and bold bluegill.

Aarons magic and bold bluegill.

fishing user avatarkickerfish1 reply :

Aarons Magic. I buy at least 2-4 packs of all their soft bait variations in this color and sprinkle in other colors as needed. From dirty to stained and even clear water that color has always produced.

fishing user avatarWSOzzie reply :

DS - Aaron's Magic just killed for me this summer

fishing user avatarFlipSide reply :

Martens Madness for me

fishing user avatarRSM789 reply :

Aaron's Magic in the spring, summer & fall, Orange Crusher in the winter.

Apparently I am not the only one that feels this way, because every store I have been to is out of the Orange Crusher color.  I can guarantee that the empty peg among the sea of Roboworm colors will be listed "Orange Crusher".  I am afraid it may be a discontinued color because BPS doesn't even carry it online anymore (the R.C. store has a peg for it).

fishing user avatarRoLo reply :

The colors available depend on the model & length.

I like the Roboworm 7" Straight Tail in Midnight

I really feel that the FX are the way to go.  The only regular type robos I ever buy anymore are the "hot tip" ones with the neon tail.  Otherwise it's all FX for me.

fishing user avatarcschmidt reply :

Baitball then sxe shad

Seems like most of you use Roboworms for dropshotting.

Being as the lakes here in Fla are shallow soup bowls compared to what most of you fish in, I don't see the need to drop shot at all.

Wish I did.

At last years roadtrip on Wilson, I picked up some just in case.

As I didn't know what color to get I got a greenish one with a chartreuse tip that looked good (don't remember what it's called)

Anyway, on a whim I tied one on weightless when I felt the need to downsize and got bit on the first cast.

Don't know if it was the color, action, or it just fell on the fishes head and pi**ed it off ;)

I consistently drop shot in shallow water as a productive technique. 5ft, 0ft, you name it. Give it a shot.

I had a few colors but the MMIII was the color that I could use in any water clarity/conditions with confidence (purple stuff works for anything)

fishing user avatarVrybusy reply :

I dont think they make a bad color. I have had some consistent results with arrons magic.
