What lures, that are no longer available still catch a lot of fish for you. My tackle collection is is teeming with lures that are no longer made.
Argobast Mudbugs are real good in early, early spring.
Rogers Big Jims have been tearing up the bass for me the last couple of years. Im not buying new silent cranks when I have vintage ones that flat out produce.
Riverside Top Gun soft jerk baits are my go to lure in slop. One of the best Big Bass baits Ive ever used.
Fat Raps might still be made but i have not seen them on the shelves for years. They are my "Jack of All Trade" crankbait. Not specializing in any particular situation but one of the best "junk" fishing lures I ever employed.
What are some of yours?
Terminator Spinnerbaits with the skeeter skirt. Miss that color. Also risto and rattlin' fat raps, and some colors of the bomber model A and Excalibur Fat Free Shad.
BassBuster Scorpion and Tarantula spinnerbaits. I bought 7 dozen of them when I heard they were being discontinued.
Well, them Heddon Sonics and Super Sonics keep on catchin´ bass.

I loved those.I still have one scorpion.
Lazy Ikes and a crank bait that was distributed by K-Mart back in the early 80's. I still have a couple of the smaller Lazy Ikes that are killers on river smallies around hereand there's something about the action/sound of that unknown crank that makes it my secret tourney bait that only comes out when I need to make my limit by weigh-in.
They still make lazy ikes, lurenet.com has them
Pre Rapala Wiggle Warts
Storm Lightning Shad crankbaits. Got about 10 left.
Rapala Risto Raps and Fat Raps, Excalibur Shad-R, and the older Storm Wiggle Warts.
1. Bill Dance craw crankbait lures. I break the bills off and doctor them up to use them as a mop jig trailer. They are large and the most realistic looking trailer Ive ever seen. The hydrafoam or whatever their made of lasts forever. Ive caught over 30 fish on a single one. These are saved for special occasions like mason jar tournaments with buddies.
2. Lucky Craft RC .05. great numbers bait and the farthest casting small crank made.
3. heddon zara gossa ll. just a fun broken back minnow.
4. zetabaits tadpole. Neat little finesse topwater frog.
Sebile Ghost Walker. Dalton Special prop bait.

Love that bait.
Berkely used to make a power ring worm that I caught a ton of bass fishing it on the back of a mojo rig.
The old version of the Xcalibur Fat Free Fry & Guppy had a version with clear sides with a metallic insert that is an excellent crank. I believe they called it the Advantage series. Glad I still have a couple left.
I love the old clear baits with the metallic insert, I guess they went the way of the dinosaur
The fred arbogast flyrod hula poppers, throw one on the ultralight rod and can usually guarantee a nice bass.
Bomber Mud Bug, with metal lip! My first really deep diver. We trolled with it, and still break it out for fun!

Wal-Mart had about 40-50 in different colors, $1 a piece, saw them this AM...Is it worth going back?
Boy, I had a bait that I can't even remember the name of, but it was the best thing I can remember using. It was made in the early 90s, back when everyone was making their own version of the Sluggo by Lunker City. The bait that I remember was a knockoff slug that was similar in consistency to today's Gulp, maybe a little stiffer. It was shaped exactly like a sluggo, except the flat portion of the slug was jagged, like the tread of a tire... It was sold in two colors that I know of, solid yellow (not chartreuse) and grape. The special thing about it was that the bait made its own anise scented slime when it got wet. After a few dozen casts it would be a half disintegrated slimy mess, but would still catch fish... I had four packs of it but ran out around 1993 or so... Haven't seen it since, or met anyone that remembered what that bait was...
(It was not Exude by Mister Twister...)
mister twister sandworms. have some of the berkley versions but did not seem to produce as well.
Bomber speed shads.
Blaze minnows
Deadly on river smallies
Mann's Hank Parker Classic Spinnerbaits
BPS Topnocker
Bomber FAT A Crankbaits
Mister Twister 2" split double tail grub
Since bomber has discontinued there older fat A and model A colors I been buying up all the older colors when I can. There still fish catchers and my go to colors.
The BPS Topnocker has got to be the hottesr topwater lure of all time.
The Hank Parker Classic Spinner bait is awesome.
I been using the 2" split double tail grubs on all my smaller lures as trailers with success.
Of course all the great fish catching lures are discontinued.
I remember the old Manns The Classic spinnerbaits... Wish I'd stockpiled a few of them... They're one of the only spinnerbaits I'd use over a Terminator. Those were worth tuning! The Berkley Power Bait Beast were great as well. The XCalibur XrK Rattle Baits are good little lures that are getting hard to find. The Team Daiwa T.D. Splash Walker Zero and Lucky Craft Rick Clunn single knocker square bill cranks will be missed as well.
Taco Bell Chili Cheese Burrito.
wait, are we talking about discontinued food or lures.
as far as lures, I really don't have any discontinued lures that I wish I had.

I still have about 4 or 5 of these, I cant believe that they stopped making them. I use them more for stripers then anything else though
Not so much the lures, but the colors. I used to have a silvery white crank that would catch them when nothing else would.
they will make the chili cheese burrito for you, you just have to ask for it, ask them for nacho cheese and its a killer!!! lol! but the mann's -4 square bill. the new ones just arent the same! diff color schemes and dont fish like the older ones, i have a few left. walmart use to have a bait called "flw creature" it was made by manns, there were a few different styles but the one i liked the best is a fluke type bait with a hollow body and a solid head, the action was tops due to th hollow body but those are 2 id like to see back in production, i still have some of the original flw baits and bought them in 1999-2000

Speaking of FLW lures I miss the spinnerbaits with the mirro-chrome skirts. I still have a few and they are killer spinnerbaits!
