Just Ordered My First Tube Of Megastrike 2025

I have never consistanly used a scent, but after seeing everyone loveing Megastrike and watching the video of fish not letting go, I had to get some. Anyway, I have a few questions. 1. Do yall put it on baits that already have a scent? 2. how often do you re-megastrike your bait? 3. Typically, how long does a tube last? I dont know if I need to order two or not. Thanks guys!

i remember my first tube lol. I put it on every single bait i own, no bait leaves the boat without it. I reapply when i feel its needed. It really does last a long time on a bait. One tube will last you a few seasons, unless you fish 365 days a year.

2. Not very, but I typically squirt a nice dollop into a bag of worms and mash it around. If I put that worm back in, then it gets re-mega'd
3. Depends on how much you apply and how often. I can go quite a while on one tube.... Order up 2, make the second a diff scent, like the garlic version...

1. yes
2. Usually I will apply it on all the baits I am going to use for the day, and never had to re-apply it.
3. One tube lasted me two seasons

Every soft plastics that I use that doesn't already have a scent get mega-strike. Like GYCB, Zoom, Havoc, Robo-worms, Jackal, and Reaction Innovations stuff. SK, Netbait, powerbait, gulp, and stuff like that , that has it's own scent I don't put it on. I rub a little on all my hard baits, frogs, spinner baits, and jigs too.

the one thing you will find out is how well it lubricates your baits. I think that phase of it is my favorite, it will help all of your baits go through vegetation much better.

That was one thing I noticed as well. Things just slide through much easier.

Do you guys have a recommendation for which scent to buy? I'm willing to give this stuff a try, leaning towards the original 'flavor'. Thoughts?

I didnt know either...so i went with the original. And apparently it has something in it for all profiles of baits. Ive caught them on Jigs, heavy spoons, traps, crankbaits, jerkbaits and swimbaits on an A rig, using MegaStrike.

I just ordered my first tube when Tackle Warehouse had them on sale last week. I got the original and I'm definitely excited to try it out. I used the KVD Fish Sticks last year but I never really thought they made that much of a difference.

I stopped by a DSG a few weeks ago and they had the Original so i grabbed a tube of it to give it a try this season.

I just fished the past few days using MegaStrike for the 1st time. Lets just say its staying in my tacklebox from now on.

I just got a tube myself from tackle warehouse. Been reading everyone's posts about this stuff for a while so of course I had to get some. Like you all, can't wait to try it out!

I started fishing a spinnerbait and had two short strike it. After a few minutes i put the megastrike on it and the fish were hammering it. HAMMERING! One of the best feelings is when you are working a spinnerbait and a fish stops it in its tracks

So I tried it out today. Went to the small runoff pond behind my work where my buddy dumped a bunch of crappie last year. I put some on a small white and chartreuse tube and caught 4 of them.
I slowly swam the tube and it seemed like they were hitting it very very light but not letting it go!
