What do you think? An Owner Deep Throat hook on a shaky head!
Pretty sweet!
Ever consider making some with smaller springs to accommodate roboworms?

One solution I've found to fit thinner baits and baits made of Elaztech is to cut the screw lock down to about the first spiral, straighten it out with pliers, then just bend it so it's shaped like a J. You an push thin baits up onto it that way and Elaztech baits don't pull back off of it like they do with the screw locks.
Nice. Looks like it will hold the fish great.
to bad its not on a football head....

That is my preference, with app a 6/0 hook for a no salt floating Senko.

Ive never used that owner style of hook. How does the hookup ratio compare to a regular round bend style? Also that head style is my favorite for shakey heads.
OHHHHHHH DADDY LIKE!!!!!
to those that have never used the Owner Deep Throat, you are missing out.
when you stick them with this hook, they are STUCK, and more often than not its deep into the rook of the mouth.
that looks awesome....
i think the bait monkey is on my shoulder...

The are great.. I have a great hookup ratio with jigs using the deep throat hook.. I think on footballs that it helps the trailer stand up better too.. but that may just be my mind..

Ive been using them to pour jigs and I cant wait to try them out this year cause I know just working with them in painting and everything I end up with more holes in my fingers than anything so im sure they will grab a bass no problem.

X2...
I love the hook. As above, can you make some on 1/8 and 1/4 oz football heads with small keeper spirals for roboworms? I'd buy em up!
Dang, and I just placed a shakey head order. Looks like I'll be buying some more.
Are they available now
I'm looking into trying to find a football mold it will fit in.
Thanks everyone. Its a sweet shaky head. About the only thing I can think of on the robo worm is clip the coil like stated above.

Sure are.
i dont get the robo worm concern.....is that an issue? I never thought it to be.
I've always just screwed them down on the coil. I've never had an issue but at times the coil can be pretty close to pushing out.
I just screw my roboworms down on coil's too, but in the picture your's looked large. I never have a problem and if the nose ever tears out after catching a couple, just bite off the nose and screw back down. Maybe the zoomed in pic makes it look big.
If you can do that bad boy in a 1/8th and 1/4 oz football head that would be awesome. I do dig that hook.
Matter of fact, I have been getting ready to place an order for shakey heads for this season as I'm really low. I'll hold off and see what you come up with.
Let me know if you need a field tester.
Concerning the roboworms - they usually screw on but there is zero margin for error and the worms will only be good for 1 fish.
Gotcha, I haven't used them in at least a year.

I must be doing something different..... I use mostly the 7in for shaky heads . Could that be it?
I just dont see the issue, maybe I am lucky.

Or just carry a lighter and warm up the spring.

It's good to see some fellow Sooner fans on here! Order some. You won't be disappointed. Also, check out Mike's jigs. They are excellent! His price's on custom jigs are insanely low!

I seen those on your site! Are you modifying your molds or making you own? Also, I don't seem to remember if you epoxy your weedguards or pour around them?
Edited by gripnripOrder placed! Thanks again Mike!

Its a special mold. I dont think you could modify a do it to work.
I epoxy the weedgaurds. I feel its the best way to do it and strongest.
I figured that you had a mold made. I'll be ordering some for sure!
I just added 1/8,5/16, and 3/8 in the Extreme Shaky head.
Excellent!
Ahhh thats why I didnt see the 1/8 on my first order!!
