This will be out pretty soon. I went out the other day about 4 PM til dark-Couldnt get them on plastics or spinnerbaits -My dumbA$$ forgot my Cavitron box so I said let me play with this. Threw it Texas rigged-and just worked it like a wackey rig-It absloutly smoked them. Ive got to see if Glenn still has a video I sent him on this new bait. I will get some samples to you guys soon.
Bobby I thought these baits where suppose to be on TW like months ago. Whats the hold up with production?
Molds are back ed up right now-Packaging is being built. Had to make sure everything was perfect or wasnt going to bring them to market
picture?
Quotepicture?
take 2 stickbaits, similar to a senko, and lay one across the other so it makes an x shape... that's the basic idea.
it is the same bait as Reins cross-swamp soft plastic bait ......
Ok folks, here's the video. Enjoy!

I made my own with some mend-it. 8-)
bobby, is those lures made for texas rigging?
what size?
It looks like a airplane coming thru the water. lol
It is absolutily no where near that Reins bait. Totally different concepts /actions/ plastic density-consistancy- and more. The reins is more like two floating worms cross shaped. This bait I developed was shown to the President of Yamamoto Baits over three years(documented) ago and asked for their blessings to produce it. He actually said that is the next hybrid stickbait. This bait is off the hook. Big bass love this bait.

How'd you do with it? Did you smoke them? Was it off the hook? Mind blowing? C'mon man, don't leave us hanging.
I'm absolutly pumped about trying some.
Cool idea John, never thought of doing that with Mend It.

Bobby, that's definitely an interesting bait. So it smoked them?
Because nomatter what most of the clowns on this site say LOL-We at Megastrike have integrity. We are very well respected and also recipricate that respect. I give full acknowledgement that the "stickbait craze" was developed by Gary Yamamoto.I also know very well a gentleman that developed (over 25 years ago )the Jersey Rigg-Jeff Cammerino. The original stickbait. So out of respect I showed them what I was doing and asked if there were any issues. They said they appreciated the gesture and said run with it.They did not have this bait in their arsenal.Like I said it was a respect thing. so now i am taking my Wing Ding and going fishing. I will bring back some pics if I "SMOKE UM"

I believe I will do as Avalonjohn44 and make my own with a little mend-it, if I ever have the desire to fish with something that swims like Lt. Dan.
Lt. Dan had no legs. This thing technically has 4 so your assessment makes no sense.

Try again, this thing has a head two arms and a torso and no legs. If your going to try and insult someone at least learn basic anatomy. No you might have some argument if you were referring to the cross swamp since it is designed to be hooked in the intersection and not the shorter "head" end of the bait as in the video.
Touche
Looks a little creepy if you ask me. LOL
I nominate this for Thread of the Month. Excellent work by everyone; bonus points for working "torso" into a post.

whatever , didn't mean to hurt your feelings :
just seems like that bait has been done before , just doesn't look all that good , just like "that Reins bait" ............

you mean like this one made by Kicker Fish http://www.***.com/Kicker_Fish_Texas_Weedless_Wacky_Worms/descpage-KFTWW.html
Not referring to the users - I am fine with everyone here- I'm referring to the clowns -they know who they are as we are friends-and you can also check out the little "LOL" at the end of that line. As for selling more baits. They sell themselves. As for hurting my feelings - Uh ! didnt feel a thing-Like I said it is a new bait. The reins.. as stated before is crossed in the center and designed to be hooked there. It is also a softer consistency of plastic. As for the kicker fish deal -that seems to be designed as an alternative way to rig it than putting the hook directly into the worm. Possibly for longer or better durability.I could be wrong. The Wing Ding was designed to have that wacky rig action with a Texas rig /weedless application. It was also designed with a larger profile and perfectly balanced appendages for better action as you see in the video. If its not balanced correctly -it dosent work.. It was designed to catch larger fish by using the larger profile.
Thx for the vid, Glenn.
They look great, and it they actually float, they'll make a fine slop lure.
Bobby, I'll take 4 packs, ASAP. Black/blue, white, watermelon/red, green pumpkin.

Dude calm down, Bobby is making a point. A lot of people like to make assumptions without knowing what's up. If that's not you then don't worry about it. Megastrike is doing just fine without having to add anything new. If they do, then they probably have their ducks in a row.
Keep kickin @$$ Bobby!
And when are these due out? Within the next month will be cool as I am out of fishing until then, but heck I can't wait to try this texas rigged. If you can make em black with chart tips!
how do you make the lure move so slow and steady without having so much slack. is it in the retrieve, the way you twitch your rod or the type of reel.
jeez. curious group of people (non-clowns) we have on here.
thanks for making the post, Bobby. i always look forward to reading about new products and cant wait to hear more about this one.
is it too late to change the name from Wing Ding to LT. Dan?
This bait could have merit. I have done O K by just hooking two straight, six inch worms in the middle wacky style. It worked, but not a killer for sure.
I will have all kinds of colors-no gimmick colors-ones that I have a lot of confidence in. Maybe 12 at most. As for the rigging-I have used regular 4/0 and 5/0 Gamys in regular and wide gap-I have split shot the wind ding as well as Carolina rigged it. I skipt it under docks-branches -on top of lilly pads and over weed beds. It displaces a lot of water put is still subtle in the way it moves. It can be fished on the surface or at any dept below.I let the bass show me what way they want it. I also caught some freakn giant ta ta toothy critters on it. I will get some samples out to you guys soon - Watch and learn Danielson
QuoteReins cross-swamp soft plastic bait ......
T.H. Tackle produces something very similar.
http://www.t-hamada.com/pwavytwin.htm
Sorry T i dont see the resemblance -Am i missing something here
Man, a lot of hate and people who don't know what there talking about in this thread. I think it's hilarious how people are still rude during the Spring and Summer and they don't have the "cabin fever" excuse to hide behind.
Bobby, when you showed me that bait at the Classic, I knew it was gonna catch em good. Glad to see it's working for you and you need to hurry up with production because I know of some river fish that are dying for a wing-ding.
And for the people saying it's a "copy" of the other finesse type cross sectioned worms, you have made my day. It's obvious that your attacking Bobby because of a personal reason because the wing-ding is completely different from all the other baits shown on here. It's bulky and is more of a power fishing soft plastic where the others are super thin, supple, finesse worms that you deadstick. That's like comparing a jig to a drop shot ;D
Hmmm...looks like a bird trying to swim underwater. I have actually seen a muskie eat a bird. Do you make this thing in a 10" to 12" version?
Based on pictures they definitely look somewhat "similar" to a couple of others but if you watch the videos for each they are definitely different. Looks like an awesome bait. Can't wait to try it out!
I remember seeing this awhile back. Still amazing to watch it swim in the water like that.
It almost makes me want to play with it in a bathtub..... ;D
Like I said its something that you have to actually hold and see yourself. It is a little hard to distinguish it just by itself. senko-I dont think they were attacking me-my products speak for themselves. It was just something that they havent held or seen up close . It will have a time and place to use. Actually peak time I believe is summer time. As for this and LT. Dan. I believe he has made his peace with God.
