Just curious, with all the many plastics out there, what was everyone's favorite flippin bait (besides a jig) and maybe say why....one of my favorites is the kickerkraw from kickerfish, very nice bait, very nice price but not available at stores is only down fall, Lookin forward to see all responses!
Double Wide Sweet Beaver.
The bait skips well, too!
8-)
i like flippin the Yum 4.25" Vibra King Tube with pegged or srew in bullet weight. It has great action on the fall and can also fish it like a jig.
wally craw from ***, in any color
5:20 sweetbeaver..
sweetbeaver are overated
my newest flipping bait is this
Zoom Baby Brush Hog for smallies (they like the small profile )
Can't go wrong with the Sweet Beaver for Largemouths though.
Heck I have even pitched Yum Money Minnows before.
wooly bug
Big Bite Bait's Yo Mamma. Right size, soft texture, good color options and the price is hard to beat. Yum Wooly Hawg is a close second.
I've been loving a Rage Lobster lately for pitchin and flippin. Gambler's Ugly Otter has produced a bunch of fish also.
Brush hog or the baby brushhog.
Chigger Craw
Big Bite Baits Fightin Frog. Thang is freaking dirty
10" Power worm - flippin milfoil on my home lake it slays them for some reason they like the bigger profile
Texas rigged Gene Larew Craws (4, 5, & 6"), a slimmer profile in thick cover
Texas rigged Rage Tail Smokin' Rooster any color
Shhh! ItzaBug
4' BPS Flippin tube green punkin junebug tail. Works in almost any condition and water clarity. These things catch fish! (even in Ohio )
I really like the Krazy Koura from DichosoBaits, you can pick the color and then whatever flakes you want in the bait. Great action and good price.
zoom ultra vibe speed craw any color
Yum Wooly Bug. Plastic is soft and pliable. I get 4 or 5 bass out of one bug, unlike the Sweet Beavers, which didn't seem to hold up for me.
Smoke with red pepper
Green Pumpkin
I find it's hard to beat a tube. But Beavers, Otters, Chigger Craws, paddletail worms, 10" Powerworms, and Senkos have their place, too.
1. Lake Fork Hyperfreak (bama bug) 2. Netbait macdaddy craw (black/blue) 3. Big Bite Baits fighting frog (wat/red and vegas flash) 4. BPS tube Dart (killed it this year watermelon orange)

I've got some stuff from Dichoso before also. Great baits. Romeo is an outstanding guy to deal with. He did some custom pouring for me that came out fantastic.
QuoteBrush hog or the baby brushhog.
X2 Brush hogs are the best there cheap soft and catch fish!!
Paca craws.
Strike King rodent, in the bama bug color has worked very well for me this year.
Matt
I t-rig the following with 1/4, 5/16, or 3/8 tungsten slip sinker.
Gene Larew 4"Salt Craw and Biffle Mega Craw
Reaction Innovation Tube - 4" (Coonasty and Penetration)
Sweet Beaver (Payback, Hillbilly Special, Coonasty)
The green pumpkin blue fleck crazy-legs chigger craw got me third place in a tournament on Saturday.
Watermelon Sweet Beaver, and a 1/2 oz or 3/8 oz Dirty Jigs' Flippin Jig:
lotta nice responses... zero i like that dm punch craw, but just like the kicker kraw only available online...which makes it a pain in the butt to get, and i agree bout beavers i have some but with so man throwin them rather throw somethin unique
3/4 - 1 oz dirty jig with a beaver or a fighting frog trailer.
In central Florida a real popular flipping bait is to screw a heavy sinker into a senko. This catches alot of big bass
Game Hawg, Brush Hawg, anything that is similar. T-rigged with a pegged 1/4 Oz weight. Just seems to work better that anything else. When it hits the bottom there's an abrupt sprawl of all the legs that seems to get their attention real well. Besides that the action of all those arms seems to induce a strike on occasion as I bring it back to the boat.
T-rigged yamamoto flappin hawg. Love it :
I must be old school 'cause I still like to use a 6" Gulp black nightcrawler Texas rigged.

Not just in Florida.......
I feel like worms and senkos are highly underrated flippin baits. The catch fish and they slip through cover easier than creature baits.
