Man that stuff id tough. I have used nail clippers for years , but it is a no go on braid.
Boomerang Snips. Worth every penny.
My dad got me some KVD snipper things from Wally for like $5. They are small and have red handles. They are incredible.
... nail clippers.
Boomerang snips are excellent, but there something
else you may not even think about:
Kid's Fiskars scissors from Walmart! They really do
work well.

X2 on the Fiskars.
Thats what I used to use before I lost them and ordered a Rapala kit with braid scissors. The Rapala scissors work really well too.

Rapala braid scissors.Less than 5 bucks at Walmart.Ive literally broken nail clippers on braid.

Although they work well from what I read I refuse to pay $10 to cut my line.
I have a razor knife I use and a pair of snap ring pliers I got a while back for like $4.99 that has cutters in them. They both work well.
Just run it across some rock. And save your clippers for the mono!
Yup. I have a set of kobalt scissors (from Lowes) that were cheap and they've been cutting my braid for years and still snippin' !

I'm a wild man. I use the knife on my Leatherman or the knife in my pocket.
Rapala braid scissors. Going on 5 years now with the same pair.
I have a custom made thingy made out of pike teeth................or at least I have thought about it. Best braid cutters on earth.
But until that dream becomes a reality, I use cheap kids scissors from walmart. They last about a season before they become too dull. I toss them at the end of the year and buy a new pair for $2 each spring.
You should invent something, you could call it the yawl.

I use the same.
Crucial successors
My pocket knife seems to cut PP with no problems at all so that's what I use.
I have some rapala braid scissors but normally I just use the scissors on my leatherman or the knife on my leatherman
Boomerang snips!

This, or good scissors.
Thinking about trying to justify a 1 watt hand held laser for this...but two bills just to cut fishing line seems excessive even to this gear geek...

I better not catch you running with those scissors, young man.
'ANY' brand of braid scissors will do (Culprit, Calcutta, Cuda, Rapala, Boomerang, Owner ~ ~)
Normally I just run the braid over the blade without closing the scissors (how lazy can you get?).
Roger
I have braid scissors, but I mainly use my knife...
I simply rely on my sharp wit. (see what I did there?)

yup, kids fiskars work well, you can even find them in a camo pattern.
Dug
Pocket knife
I used to use the BPS split ring/braid cutters but I lose them on the banks.
Zebra mussels.

David
I use the Rapala Braid Scissors. They work well and are cheap to boot. Only issue I had was when they got stepped on, they still cut fine but just take a bit more to operate.
I've used clippers, a knife, scalpel, Fiskars, and the Boomerang - all work but I prefer the Boomerang.
