Yeah why learn to cast when you can blast? Why learn to fish at all. You mind as well chum the the water and through some TNT in...now that would be a blast! Was this designed to get kids interested in fishing or shooting? I don't know, what a gimik....wish i thought of it for 40$ a wack.

I am all for getting kids or adult non-anglers envolved in fishing, but this is just another sad commentary on how lazy and into "do it all for you" gadgetry we are becoming. Other than beeing a joke amongst "real" fisherman, the sad thing is this gimmick is just another peice of junk designed to take $$ from ingnorant people who probably will give up on fishing when the peice of junk breaks after 10 "shots" across the lake. Shame on Roland Martin.....the guy was a great bass fisherman, but aside from that I always thought he was a money hungry pirate who does more harm than good to his image (at least amongst serious bass fisherman) with stunts like this...............so SOOOOOO transparent.

But thank you, striperone, for posting this, because I saw this at 3 AM last week and couldn't remember what it was called. Now all of us at work can laugh uncontrollably at this travesty of "fishing gear"!

I'm so disappointed in Roland Martin. I liked him back in the day, but between the constant plugs for products on his show, endorsing junk such as this, and yelling "I gotta' a big bass, I gotta' big bass . . . . " over and over every time he hooks a bass I'm getting where I can't stand to watch him.

60% of Martin's show is spent touting sunscreen, Ray Scott's pond videos, Leverage spinnerbaits (which I wish I could find), ABU Garcia, Aqua-Vu, Lowrance and Yamamoto.

But I still DVR every episode. For every 5 bad shows, there is one good one.

First Mr. Martin retired, then he & his wife sold their marina/tackle shop to their boy Scott, then the Big-O fell through the cracks!!!!

I mean how many of us would turn down the hundreds of thousands dollars he makes on promotions.

Are we all so "ethical" that we would turn down serious money to endorse everything. Hell, Bill dance has been doing it for years.

These guys paid their dues, and if making all the money they can grab is #1 on the agenda, I say more power to em.

Ps. I thought the "bobber blaster" looked like fun. Won't buy the piece of crap, but sill it looked like fun.

I just wonder if he will be named in the lawsuit the first kid shoots another and hooks his ear off?

OMG! This is HORRIBLE! Roland endorses our products, and has for quite some time.

I am totally floored by this endorsement, he must really need money! I doubt that

my dear friend Chief Braswell of Yamamoto baits knows about this. I know for a fact

that the owners of Spike It and Frogg Togs do not know. Unfortunately, endorsements

now days are about $$$, and not about belief in the product! Almost all of the big boys

are pimps! This might be our last year with Roland, I can't stomach this one!

Rolo, Rolands ex-wife owns the marina along with FULL rights to use his name!
