I'm making the switch from seaguar blue label which I've used for a long time I want to see what everyone else likes and I'm willing to try something new
Wasn’t it seaguar tatsu or it is ?
Sunline Sniper
The best I've used is Tatsu. Finesse is good too.
Sunline - but its so pricey i just use Seaguar

It almost has to be....hard to justify what they charge, if it isn't
I use Red Label and have yet to have a problem with it. I am not willing to pay for Tatsu or even Yellow Label when the red does as good for me as it does.
Define best!
strongest knot strength per dia?
most abrasion resistance?
highest impact strength?
less memory?
or highest price per yard?
Tom
Seaguar Tatsu is the best line I have EVER fished.
Seaguar Red label is all I use for my fluorocarbon applications. I can buy local and meets all my needs.
All around best for me is sunline sniper and yes I prefer it over tatsu .
Tatsu or Gamma Edge.
I really like the Sunline Shooter, but I've heard people have line management issues with it. If I'm honest, I use it as a leader, but I know the tackletour guys really like it as mainline.
Seaguar Abrazx is the best line Ive used. Can't justify jumping into the Tatsu price range yet.
Yo Zuri Top Knot, I’m big on line diameter and I honestly can’t tell the difference from Sunline Sniper except the price.
I see Berkeley Trilene Pro Grade XL Fluorocarbon in on sale at TW and haven't tried this FC yet.
The best performing FC line that I have used was Blackwater Toray Soloroam Hi Class Bass line and the most expensive.
Seagaur Tatsu 12 lb has a little less memory then Sunline Shooter 12 lb FC, Shooter better abrasion resistance both about equal in knot strength. Sunline Sniper in under 10 lb test for me was the most reliable FC.

Shooter
i've still yet to try tatsu. i have tried & tried, but i just can't do the braid to leader thing on my spinning setups. on a whim, i bought one of those piscifun line spooler things, and i just happened to have some 8# red label so i used it. i have had absolutely no problems at all with it, so i've held up getting any tatsu.
on casting gear, i've been really happy with sunline assassin. i handles well, and seems pretty abrasion resistant. i haven't had any weird break offs since i started inserting my tungsten, and tying a eugene slip knot.
Tatsu by far. The last time I bought it, I did not change it for a couple of years and the reels I used it on, I fished at least once a week. It hits every nail on the head. I have yet to find it's equal but the price is hard to stomach sometimes.
Tatsu has been excellent. It's very pricey, but I just use a 50 yard top shot so I can spool 4 times off each spool so it's about $10 per fill up and it doesn't hurt so bad.
Of course just like all the other comments my answer is BEST - Tatsu
VERY GOOD option that is less expensive - InvizX, I like InvizX over Sunline in my opinion. Just have a better feel of the line and its quality fishing.
I fished my way through most of a 660y spool of 16lb Invizx and decided to give Tatsu a try. It was pretty underwhelming honestly and I didn't see what the fuss was about.
Now, many months later, the same Tatsu is still on my reel and still looks and handles about the same as when it was new. I would have replaced the Invizx at least once by now, maybe twice. I still have like 2/3 of the 16lb spool left and I think I am going to pick up some of the thinner Tatsu to try on some of my finesse casting reels. If it really holds up this long it will work out to cheaper over all.
Tatsu, hands down, regardless of money.
Sunline Sniper and Pline Tactical for performance/cost ratio.
Thanks everyone!
The only thing I've noticed with all fluorocarbons at any price point is ya better buy Kevin VanDam's Line and Lure Conditioner by the gallon!

I spray my hair with it every night before bed. Wake up and it's soft and silky!
