TomP : Clever, compact, well-built foldable fishing net

I really love the clever design of this LineRike folding fishing net. It seems to be built of sturdy materials, and folds up nicely into a very compact package. The two side arms of the net fold in, and when they're folded out there is a chain that connects the ends together, to make sure the net stays in shape.

Just to test it I put a 3 lb bag of frozen fruit in the net, and it supported that just fine, so I added various frozen foods until I was up to about 15 pounds and it seemed to support everything just fine. Like any fishing net, you can grab it near the net, then brace the handle underneath your arm to give you better control and leverage.

I do think because of the way it's designed, the folding plastic brackets have a weight limit, but if you pull the netted fish up holding the handle more vertically, you're going to reduce the stress on those pivot points.

The rubberized net does not tangle in itself, and seems very sturdy. I can see that this would be much easier to remove a fish from than the old style fish nets, especially if you want to prevent doing damage to a fish you intend to release.

Being that it's constructed of high-grade plastic, and anodized aluminum with a rubberized net, I think it will last well in a saltwater environment. However it's especially perfect for kayak or small boat fishing.
