The knife is got just enough flex and back bone to make it a great fillet knife. Its so far holding a nice edge and easily washes. The scissors work great. I've used them multiple times. The pliers seem to be good also. It's nice that it comes with a nice 3600 tackle tray and nlade sharpener. I'm happy with my purchase as always.

The set has all the essentials you need if you are getting started in fishing. The tackle box comes with dividers to make it easier to organize whatever you put in it. If you plan to store the set in it, you will need to remove at least one of the dividers so everything can fit.

Wow! What a bang for your buck! Very sharp knife! So far keeping it's sharpness. The line cutter is very helpful and sharp. One snip for braided line, amazing! The scissors i haven't had the pleasure to use it yet but it is very sharp and the curve is just sweet looking! I used the knife sharpener on an old fillet knife and it sharpened it right up! Comes with an interesting "R" hook which is like a keychain, pretty cool! I keep all the stuff in the box or came in because why not?! The box came with all the pieces in it to make it a tackle box, Runcl had thought this through!

Just got to use my new RUNCL Fishing Fillet Knife Combo Set and began to use it. The set comes with BRIGHT ORANGE Fishing Tools including a 6" Fillet Knife, heavy-duty scissors, a sharpener, and fishing pliers all packed in a 3600 tackle box. The knife is VERY sharp and seems to be of equal quality as my old Rapala that has been in my tackle box for 30 years. I added a short piece of paracord to keep it secure in the boat. My one suggestion is to add a belt loop on the sheath so I can wear it while bank fishing.

The bright orange color helps keep track of all of the tools. The sheath for the filet knife is perforated so water can drain out if the blade is wet.
I already had experience with the pliers, and this set has a lock on it, missing from my previous ones. Great improvement. The Plano-styled tackle box has dividers and a double

For what you pay you get some really great stuff. In order of what I like the best, the 3600 sized tackle box comes with all of the custom dividers is my fav. Second would be the sharpener. This will go right in my tackle box because it will work for my filet knife AND as a hook sharpener. The pliers are ok. I am in need of a split ring plier so this was needed but I wish it was a little longer. In fact if this was longer and the scissors were shorter it would be better. Speaking of the scissors…it only ok which is why I’d say these are at the bottom of the list of what I like in the kit. The knife is sharp but the grind looks really weird. I own several kind of filet knives and this fits more on the “budget-level” knives.

All in all this could be a great beginner fishing set or gift set for your favorite angler.

My colleague that I fish with said I really needed to get a good fillet knife instead of him cleaning my fish, so the reviews on this helped me decide on it. They were spot on.
Well, he even said it's super sharp. This scissors are really nice, but don't need those on redfish. I was able to fully a red fish for my first time in under 2 minutes. Never ever fillet a fish before, but after watching a few YouTube videos, it was a piece of cake. It even comes with a sharpener, which is an extra added bonus. I really like the plastic case, and store my extra parts for my kayak in it. Glad I got this, and the price is perfect.

This kit over all is a nice set for the money. The scissors have a good shape for clipping gills to bleed out fish that you plan to keep. They also cut braid. The filet knife is very sharp and has a nice comfortable handle. I cleaned 15 fish so far and the blade is still just as sharp as when I started. The knife sharpener is nice to have also for when I need to touch up the knife edge. The pliers are good for removing hooks deep in the mouth and for preparing gear. Very happy with this kit so far

Initially, I wanted to take the tools out of the insert and store them directly in the box, but then I realized the insert gives me a little room to store a few bags of soft plastics underneath. It also stops tools from rolling around loose in the case. Each item suprised me a little bit because of the low cost of this set. The scissors have a nice aerated edge that cuts braid well, the pliers have a point at which the spring forces the pliers to open to every time, and the filet knife is rigid with just enough flexibility. I’m not sure I’ll get much use out of the R shaped carabiner, but it’s a nice addition and will probably better serve on my keychain than my boat. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and I’ll defenitely be keeping this kit in the kayak!

I can always use another Fillet knife but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this set. Knife was pretty sharp when it arrived but ran it across the sharpener a few times and it was ready to go to work. Pliers are small enough to carry in my front pocket and work great and the scissors are top notch. The tackle box works great for my plastics and fits right in my backpack.

Great value for the price. The filet knife is awesome. And the included sharpener keeps it up to snuff. It was used to clean multiple salmon this past week, and became the go-to knife, even over some more expensive “Bubba” knives. The game shears worked for the the little bit I used them. The split ring pliers didn’t work well for me. They seem to be a bit sloppy and as such didn’t work well for the split rings I was working with. Other than that it is a great kit. And the knife alone is well worth the cost.

Best knife I have had in a long time. Scissors are pretty nice and pliers cut 30# braid pretty easily case is ok it all fits but a form fitted case would real be nice. I have not used it on a fish but done a few shap tests. As so as I clean fish I will post some pics and maybe a video

The supplies themselves are awesome. Used almost everything my first time out and a nice slim, sharp knife made filleting the small sunfish easy. Had 24 total sunfish to get through and it was no problem.

Only issue I have is the storage case being modular and the inserts dont go together very well. Its nice that its modular but when the inserts dont slide in place well it ruins it a bit.
