I needed a new filet knife, when I came across this kit I had to try it.
Filet knife: works great, it's sharp plus it also comes with a sharpner in case you need it.
I've used it on bait so far but cuts without any issues.
Pliers: come with all the features you need. And even though it's something simple the fact that it has a lock mechanism makes a big difference for storing.
Fishing scissors: I want a pair for home use. I love them and they are very sharp, I may have to get another one.
Tacklebox: didn't expect to get this when buying a filet knife, so this is the cherry on top.

Great value for the price. The filet knife is awesome. And the included sharpener keeps it up to snuff. It was used to clean multiple salmon this past week, and became the go-to knife, even over some more expensive “Bubba” knives. The game shears worked for the the little bit I used them. The split ring pliers didn’t work well for me. They seem to be a bit sloppy and as such didn’t work well for the split rings I was working with. Other than that it is a great kit. And the knife alone is well worth the cost.

Got my set last week and I've gotten to use it a handful of times, already. Can't speak highly enough of it. The knife is super sharp and light. I change treble hooks on my baits a lot, so I've used the split ring pliers once and will again. The scissors are sharp and very light with big handles. I like the big handles because I have really large hands. The Caribbeaner will come in handy at some point and who doesn't need a good sharpener? Nice that the case has dividers, too. Overall I highly recommend this set for any angler in any setting. Very useful and sturdy

With Runcl, you always get great value for the money spent. This kit comes with a lot of useful tools. The filet knife came pretty sharp, but after a few passes through the ceramic sharpener it was razor sharp. The bottle opener on the shears was a nice touch and the pliers worked great too. I love the little things about this kit as well, such as the R carabiner, all of the tools being able to connect to a lanyard, and the whole kit shipping in a useable tackle box, not just throw away packaging.

On July 25th I ordered the RUNCL Fishing tool and Filet knife box. It arrived on July 27th in perfect condition. The Fillet knife was razor sharp (it could easily shave my arm hair), the Split ring/Braid cutter pliers work exceptionally well, the scissors were perfect for cutting the rib bones and fins off the fish we filleted, The sharpener worked well for all sizes of hooks I use, and the small carabineer is really cool. The tackle box that it comes in, also comes with all the dividers and everything.
My son and I caught a mess of Crappie and it was a breeze to clean and fillet them, the fillets came out perfect and clean. The fish was delicious....

I was looking forward to using this knife combo set and was totally let down. Let’s start off with (1) - fishing pliers: these pliers are only used for removing hooks out of panfish only, any larger fish these pliers would break instantly and if you have large/x-large hands once you grip the pliers they disappear because they’re very small. (2) - Scissors: Grip wise (Ok), Cutting - very rough and made for larger size material, not so much fishing line. (3) Knife sharpener - Ok, standard. (4) Keyring - “ What’s the purpose in a fillet knife combo set” ????. Last but not lease the “FILLET KNIFE” - standard sharpness for your average steak knife. The average fillet knife should be “VERY FLEXIBLE” for cutting fish precisely and consistency. PLEASE REFER TO PHOTO ABOUT THE KNIFE CASE!!!!!

My colleague that I fish with said I really needed to get a good fillet knife instead of him cleaning my fish, so the reviews on this helped me decide on it. They were spot on.
Well, he even said it's super sharp. This scissors are really nice, but don't need those on redfish. I was able to fully a red fish for my first time in under 2 minutes. Never ever fillet a fish before, but after watching a few YouTube videos, it was a piece of cake. It even comes with a sharpener, which is an extra added bonus. I really like the plastic case, and store my extra parts for my kayak in it. Glad I got this, and the price is perfect.

This case is a great size for taking on the kayak and fits all the tools nicely. Initially, I wanted to take the tools out of the insert and store them directly in the box, but then I realized the insert gives me a little room to store a few bags of soft plastics underneath. It also stops tools from rolling around loose in the case. Each item suprised me a little bit because of the low cost of this set. The scissors have a nice aerated edge that cuts braid well, the pliers have a point at which the spring forces the pliers to open to every time, and the filet knife is rigid with just enough flexibility. I’m not sure I’ll get much use out of the R shaped carabiner, but it’s a nice addition and will probably better serve on my keychain than my boat. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and I’ll defenitely be keeping this kit in the kayak!

This kit over all is a nice set for the money. The scissors have a good shape for clipping gills to bleed out fish that you plan to keep. They also cut braid. The filet knife is very sharp and has a nice comfortable handle. I cleaned 15 fish so far and the blade is still just as sharp as when I started. The knife sharpener is nice to have also for when I need to touch up the knife edge. The pliers are good for removing hooks deep in the mouth and for preparing gear. Very happy with this kit so far

I've been using cheap pliers and nail cutters when fishing but decided it was time to upgrade. I found this kit at a really good price. It included a knife, scissors, braid cutters, knife sharpener, and some type of clip. The Braid cutters worked pretty good, the scissors were great, and the knife was pretty sharp. I don't know how long they will last but again for the price its a really good starting kit that I'm sure I'll get my moneys worth and then some.

I normally fish for halibut and its crucial to have a knife that can fillet it nicely without wasting and meat. I was amazed how sharp it was on first use.
