Loved this combo a lot. The packaging comes with screwdriver to remove the cover to put the battery which was also included. The built in tape measure on the lip grip is a great feature. The scale can do calculations and measures the weight accurately. Great product.

What a cool set! These pliers have a sure and secure grip to hoist the lunkers our of the water. There's a wrist strap to ensure that you don't drop that big fish when you realize its bigger than you expected. The wrist strap then goes to the scale to record your weight and take pictures before releasing it. The scale is waterproof. It even has a built in tape measure to size 'em up while they're hanging from the scale. As usual with this Runcl stuff, you will also find other hidden features that are not even in the ad. I am never disappointed with Runcl products. Talk about getting bang for the buck!!!

I am totally blown away by this scale. It is definitely better then my old more expensive scale. Easy to use and see. Comes with a nice sharp hook so you don’t need the clamp unless you are doing a catch and release. The clamp is very nice and the grip is very good. I tested the accuracy and it’s spot on.
If you need a new scale this is what you need to order. Again I’m totally impressed with the Runcl brand.

Amazing value for the quality! I was at Academy Sports and saw that the price of a just fish gripper alone was equivalent to the price of both Runcl items. The gripper is very sturdy and has a good locking mechanism. It also comes with a nice string attached so you can tie it onto a fishing backpack or even your belt loop. The scale is very nice as well. My favorite part about it is that it comes with built-in measuring tape.

I've used Runcl gear before, and their items are always top notch quality. The fishing scale performed as expected and tests I've done have confirmed its accuracy. The scale comes with blue back lighting which I would have preferred to be another color like the standard green, but thats really just nit picking. The screen was clear as day regardless. The lip gripper was made of very sturdy feeling plastic. It has great heft and felt industrial. However, I feel like it was a bit too strong. It would be amazing if in the future it could be adjustable. The gripper is definitely more suitable for larger fish as its quite big!
