Can these support offshore rods with heavy reels?
Answer: They are pretty strong. I’m not sure how heavy the rods you are using, but I think they should be able to support a good 7-10 lbs.
Answer: The elastic cord is very strong and the locking mechanism is equally strong. They hold my 13.5’ Spey rods easily, so I am sure they’d do the same for your offshore rods.
Answer: These ties will hold them easily. I wouldn’t suspend them hanging from the ties on a mobing boat however. I use them for storage and transport in my truck or trailer

Very easy and convinient to use. I was using velcro straps to tie up my rods after using them and I found these to dk the exact same thing and I am able to put them away a lot faster and seem to be a lot more durable than velcro.

Great for my fishing poles. Could have other uses too. Started off with one pack, ordered another for my dad and I. Gonna order probably two more packs for myself. Only gripes are I wish they had other colors and had a more bulk priced option like 10 for 12 dollars or something but still a great product and I'll continue to buy them.

The button lock/release is horrible and not easy to use.
Worst part....The product smells like dead fish. Not exaggerating. DEAD FISH! I'm not sure out of what nasty gross warehouse this product came from but I had to disinfect the hell out of straps to get that nasty smell off.

These works really nice!! I can tie down a 4 piece fishing rod with no problem… the mechanism works well…. The bungie cords are very well made… there is a foam pad that makes contact with the rod… this foam pads are glued to the plastic mechanism and can get unglued with use… I just put in a dab of glue… and problem solved… this is a really nice product…
