My daughter loved the net. It has a seemingly sturdy handle and nice rubber grip. The handle is telescopic. The biggest issue I see is that the handle doesn't lock well so you either extend it all the way or nothing at all.

This is an absolutely amazing and high quality fishing net that my young siblings absolutely love! Though the description says that it is for children, this net is big enough and strong enough to be used to bring in some decent sized panfish (or to catch that swift butterfly!) The telescoping handle allows for an extended reach making it much easier to bring in your catch and for children to sneak up on the butterflies they would like to catch. The bright colors not only are fun for children, but they also allow for the net to be quickly and easily spotted when a child leaves it laying somewhere. The net portion is able to be screwed apart from the handle allowing for easy storage or for the entire net to be quickly placed in a backpack or other luggage! This net has truly provided hours of fun for the whole family and has held up extremely well from the wear and tear it has sustained from small children! I highly recommend anyone that has young children that enjoy fishing and catching butterflies and other insects to get this net for them! They'll have tons of fun and will absolutely love it!

This net is fantastic if you have kids that love to fish as much as you do. Brought the net out to the bank and had my 2 year old nephew haul in some fish while I had them on the hook. The net handled a 6LB channel catfish like a champ.

Let's start with the pros, for starters the length is perfect for kids. Like stated earlier the nephew had a blast. The pole itself is colorful and vibrant, perfect for a child. And finally the pole can handle itself. Now don't get me wrong, don't expect to net in some larger fish, but I can say it handled a 6LB channel cat just fine.

Now for the cons, the overall length of the pole could be better, I wouldn't mind a little extra length. At the current length, you're gunna have to reel in that fish roughly 3-4 feet from the bank to haul it in.

As for the net itself, this net has two stress points, one in the middle, and the other at the top of the net. You have to screw in the net portion at the tip and the middle is a telescopic ring. I would rather see an all in one system where I can collapse the net in one easy motion and set it up as well.

Overall it's a great net. As an added bonus, I came to fish on my own on a motorcycle and the net is pretty small and portable if you're riding on a motor. Hope this review is helpful for you potential buyers.

This net broke after only a couple of uses. The handle broke off while my grandson was fishing in clear water for minnows. What a waste of money. And we were past the return date so could not get out money back. Very unfair!

I was so hopeful…

After spending too much money on dollar store kids nets, I thought I would buy a more substantial net so that they kids aren’t always frustrated with the nets breaking when trying to catch minnows.

Unfortunately, the frustration continues as with a little bit of weigh, this net also bends which has required us to manually fix the net so that it doesn’t break. Not sure how long it will last. Maybe used five times.

They look as pictured and the removable handles are great. They look nice and do the trick, we use them for exploring creeks, the rim around the net is thick which is great most of the time but in some situations the thickness is a negative. The paint on the rim chips off fairly easy but I'm not mad about it.nets get beat up and chipping is to be expected. They do the job and I'm pretty pleased overall

My kids (4, 6, 8) absolutely love this net! I love that it is well made. The handle and rim is aluminum and the netting is attached well. So far we have used it in creeks and streams for catching minnow and crawfish and they also use it to catch lightning bugs!

When compared to my other Plusinno fishing net, there's no doubt my other net was designed by fisherman. But, this one is "bedazzled", and will make a great gift for a young girl who likes to go out fishing with her dad. However, if he or she lands a big Bass, it might be frustrating to both of them as it might not fit in the net, and if the thing isn't screwed in super tight with some thread lock, I'm worried it would twist when lifting the fish and ruin the moment. Also, The extension works like a shower curtain rod. If the extension isn't tightened all the way it could also be frustrating. But if they're fishing for Bluegill, it would be a perfect option. The net itself is fabric so a hook could get tangled in the net, otherwise, the handle is rubber textured for easy grip and it's really light weight. Not sure if it would float if dropped in the water as there is no cord to secure it to the boat. The little diamonds are a nice touch. The pouch is useless. Not sure why it's even included. I've included pictures of the net unextended as well as extended.

So I got this butterfly rod because my kids have been wanting to catch these beautiful butterflies out in texas without harming them and I have to say this has work like a charm. We also go fishing so this comes in handy as well. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase and is really good material and not cheaply made.

My daughter absolutely loves this fishing net! Fishing wise - the handle is long enough to reach out to capture the hooked fish, and has a grippy handle to hold on to. The net is tied to the hoop in well placed recesses, so it doesn't move about. She is also very happy with the color and the little "bling" stones on the aluminum extension fastener. Great quality overall, and she has already captured a few Yellow Perch catches over the weekend! This product is well built, and very suited to its purpose!
