what are the overall dimensions?

Answer: I do not recall exact width but it is wide. I cut mine lengthwise and only used the inches side.

Will this peel off after alot of contact with saltwater?

Answer: Mine lasted 3 years, with no issue.... except a little fading of color.

Is there 1-tape per package? In the reviews - someone stated there wer 3-per pack.

Answer: I have mine attached to an aluminum boat it's holding up nicely. I did make sure to clean the area good before I stuck it on there

Answer: Yes. Must be BONE dry before applying and go over it with the back side of a screwdriver or something similar to make sure it is secure.

Answer: The adhesive doesn't hold very well, so I doubt that you can make it stick longwise on a paddle. It blew off the inside of the boat in transit the first time I took it to the lake with the ruler attached. I liked the design of the ruler, but never got a chance to use it.

Answer: It stuck well to the hard plastic of the boat, however not sure how well it would stick to carpet but if you added a little glue to the back of it, I am sure it would stick fine. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Answer: It is just a regular sticker. If you clean the boat well it'll stick well

It’s too fat, covered in logos and has a metric scale, but I knew that. Cut it in half lengthwise to get a pure ruler. Goodby logos, goodbye metric system. Now for the real test. Florida sun on my fillet table, I’ll update if it changes.

The sticker print is great, but the adhesive is very sub par. I had to spray loc tite aerosol glue on the back to get it to stick to my boat’s inside wall. They really need to create a better adhesive for the sticker.

I bought this, super excited about it. I stuck this to my boat, and it was horrible. It didn’t even last to the lake before it flew off. I don’t have it anymore as it flew off driving down the highway. I am glad I didn’t get a littering ticket for it. Buy something else

Product as advertised. I cut mine to 26" and cut down the middle to use only inch side of measurements. Affixed to side of my fishing kayak to quickly measure caught fish. With plenty of kayak use, ruler still adhering as when first applied. Highly recommend.

Sticker isn't accurate and has deep folds in the sticker that still show even if you stretch it out. Sticks like garbage and has annoying advertising all over it. Would not use even if it was free.

Ruler is accurate, but due to the folds it will be difficult to stick on a surface with precision. I bought a similiar item years ago and it was rolled up instead of folded.

Read the other reviews about how the sticker would be “short” and it is. Comes up about a half inch short when laid out, taking into account the folds. I don’t personally understand how something printed from a machine ran by a computer would have an issue with exact measurements. I would even grant slight leeway for shrinkage of the print medium, the vinyl itself, but a half inch is a bit ridiculous especially seeing as the inaccuracy began at about the 7” mark. That being said I don’t need spot on 100% accuracy so this will do until I can find something better.

It's a decent tape, and it sticks fairly well. The primary issue with the particular one that I received is that it was off by a half inch (short), and I even cut it off at 27". That could be really problematic for someone when your legal fish is actually 1/2" short, and the conservation agent ruins your fishing trip.

I remedied this by really stretching the crap out of it while installing, and after applying and peeling a few times, it matched the two quality tape measures that I checked it against. I thought about heating it to help to stretch it, but I figured I'd only end up with uneven heating and uneven stretching. I ended up with some bubbles and a little bit of carpet fuzz trapped behind it, so I'm not entirely satisfied. It was cheap, but then it's also marked up with advertising like Ricky Bobby's race car... so I think these are probably the same freebies they hand out at boat shows.

Just check yours for accuracy, an inaccurate ruler is pointless.

Did fade a little on the colors. The black and white parts are fine which is what I care about so it's fine. It stuck better than I though it would. When this one wears out I will probably buy the same thing. Easy to read.
