what are the overall dimensions?

Answer: I do not recall exact width but it is wide. I cut mine lengthwise and only used the inches side.

Will this peel off after alot of contact with saltwater?

Answer: Mine lasted 3 years, with no issue.... except a little fading of color.

Is there 1-tape per package? In the reviews - someone stated there wer 3-per pack.

Answer: Yes. Must be BONE dry before applying and go over it with the back side of a screwdriver or something similar to make sure it is secure.

Answer: The adhesive doesn't hold very well, so I doubt that you can make it stick longwise on a paddle. It blew off the inside of the boat in transit the first time I took it to the lake with the ruler attached. I liked the design of the ruler, but never got a chance to use it.

Answer: It stuck well to the hard plastic of the boat, however not sure how well it would stick to carpet but if you added a little glue to the back of it, I am sure it would stick fine. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Don't buy this product. Number one it's folded upon receipt and the adhesive is bottom of the line. It will not stick for more than 2 hours. This is a worthless product and Rapala should be ashamed of themselves for scamming their customers.

The tape doesn't stick. I tried to put it on a kayak, even after some prep work with alcohol wipes, it falls off by itself overnight. I stuck it on a rotomolded cooler and it still wouldn't stick. The edges where the tape is folded in shipment just sticks up.

I bought this thinking I could stick it to this my yak for easy measurement and pictures. This does not stick to the plastic hardly at all, I could not get it to stay down it kept coming off. Even if I managed to get it to stick I can only imagine once it hit the water it would come right off. I wasted my money on this, as it is now in the trash. I guess if you're fishing on a dock or something and you can stick this sticker on wood where it won't get wet it may work. If you plan on taking sticking this too any surface that is smooth and may get wet you may want to choose something you can mount instead of a sticker.

A true must for any fisherman. Apply these and you basically have a permanent size indicator. A lot cheaper than the fish and game ticket you’d get for u dersized fish.

Tried using on top of cooler but barely stuck. Measurements were off progressively from 1/8” at 18” to 1/4” at 24” Removed easily from top as did not want to risk someone keeping a borderline fish aboard.

It’s too fat, covered in logos and has a metric scale, but I knew that. Cut it in half lengthwise to get a pure ruler. Goodby logos, goodbye metric system. Now for the real test. Florida sun on my fillet table, I’ll update if it changes.

I was worried the creases from being folded would cause a problem but they went away easily. I added marks for the fish I commonly hook.

I bought this to put on the side of my 135 gallon indoor Aquarium where I keep my smaller koi fish over the winter. I wanted I have something to be able to track their growth progress over the winter so a sticker on the side was the idea. But it has so many logos on it it looks like the aquarium is sponsored by the NASCAR Nation. LOL I ended up cutting all the logos off with the ruler and I exacto blade so that it wasn't quite so gaudy. Other than that great sticker.

Ruler is accurate, but due to the folds it will be difficult to stick on a surface with precision. I bought a similiar item years ago and it was rolled up instead of folded.

Great product to have in my tackle box, have had no problems with this item, and have given a couple to my friends and they said the same thing, really great price and really great product, highly recommend.

It's a decent tape, and it sticks fairly well. The primary issue with the particular one that I received is that it was off by a half inch (short), and I even cut it off at 27". That could be really problematic for someone when your legal fish is actually 1/2" short, and the conservation agent ruins your fishing trip.

I remedied this by really stretching the crap out of it while installing, and after applying and peeling a few times, it matched the two quality tape measures that I checked it against. I thought about heating it to help to stretch it, but I figured I'd only end up with uneven heating and uneven stretching. I ended up with some bubbles and a little bit of carpet fuzz trapped behind it, so I'm not entirely satisfied. It was cheap, but then it's also marked up with advertising like Ricky Bobby's race car... so I think these are probably the same freebies they hand out at boat shows.

Just check yours for accuracy, an inaccurate ruler is pointless.

Nice for quick measuring fish and crabs. Compared to my measuring tape its accurate to within a 1/4 inch but that could be because of the slight curve of the boat and not an issue with the tape. Good for a quick reference

Don’t worry if you stretch the stick on tape the folding lines will not show they will go away.

Clean the area with acetone where you plan to glue it on and it should be fine.

Awesome fish ruler! I couldn't find a spot on my boat to put it on without making it look goofy, so I cut a piece of plexi glass the same size of the ruler and presto change O, I have a fish ruler that is handy and can be passed to other folks fishing on the other end of the boat. Make sure you tape the ends or they will peel up.

I put this on my sit-in kayak so that I can easily measure fish during striper season. The adhesion is really good and it has not come unstuck despite being in both fresh and saltwater. I trimmed it with the backing still on it to make it fit better on my boat.
