Can it hold heavy insulated hunting waders? The hook looks plastic in the picture.

Answer: The hook is heavy duty plastic. I've only used them to hold up fishing & medium weight hunting waders. I'm sure they'll work with heavy weight waders.

Answer: It is plastic but holds my heavy duck hunting waders with ease!

They look like a great wader hanger, but will they allow air to get up inside the boots, or does it choke them?

Answer: It does not choke them. Good design. I’m happy with them (bought two pairs). Can adjust the hanging height also.

Answer: They work great for me. I hang my boots heal to heal with the toes out and I get no choking. Air gets in no problem.

Answer: The part that goes around the boot is adjustable and I haven't had any issues with it choking my waders. I have 2, one for my women size 9 and one for my husbands size 10 and don't have any issues with this holding either one.

Answer: Definitely allow airflow. Do not constrict the boots and you can adjust the tightness of the straps if need be..

Answer: They fit really well at the bend of the boot. So they don't seem to constrict at all.

Answer: They didn't close my waders off. They were still able to breathe. The strap is adjustable.

Will this work with stocking foot waders?

Answer: No I don't believe so. It is designed to hold boot foot waders. Stocking feet would just fall through.

Answer: Yes, anything with a foot will hang from these. They tighten up around any size.

Answer: I guess you could tighten them enough, but they really are designed for the rigid structure of a boot.

Answer: It sure could but youll have too bend the neoprene footies over the cups that hold the boots...hope that helps

why not just hang them by the shoulder straps ?

Answer: If you hang your waders by the straps the weight from the boots will stretch your wader straps and you would have too sew them to fit you correctly...

Answer: First, you might stretch out the elastic in the straps and second, if there's any water in the boots .......

Answer: I use it so the shoulder straps don't get stretched out. Plus when you use a boot fan it helps them dry out

Answer: Hangs better from the boots

Answer: 1. It ruins the straps. 2. Gravity drains water downward so the boots dry much better upside down.

I like these wader hangers. I do find myself questioning the plastic hook hanger. After a hunt my waders can be quite heavy. The clip as not failed but it’s hard plastic, and just feels like it’s one bad day from breaking. Again it hasn’t broken, just feels like it could. I’m happy with it this far.

hubby FLIPPED when I showed him these! We had gotten another style of boot hanger that, quite frankly, made me wonder what they were thinking but these are AWESOME and he loves them for his hip waders! He loves that they help dry them out and eliminate a worry for damage from fluid rot, mold, etc inside the boots. They are perfectly dry within a short time to wear again. Even better he can hang them in the van and can locate them easily without having to hunt for them.

Bought these to hang my chest waders to dry after duck hunting. They are easy to hang as well as easy to strap the boots. Product seems to be very durable. Can't beat the price and ease of use. Definitely recommend for someone that has no interest in installing wall hangers. Would fit and look great in a closet as well.

These work great! When I get home from fishing/hunting I immediately hang my waders up to dry. All of the plastic is pretty heavy duty and I think these will last a long time. I left my heavy 1600 gram size 13 waders hang for a couple months and the product held up great.
