The belt tips down so much the rod falls out. I went to Loews and added a 1 1/2 in 90 degree elbow to it and it seems better,I haven't tried it yet but it feels right.

This is going to work just fine for offshore fishing off of my jet ski WaveRunner. feels very comfortable so I will be able to wear it all day while I ride and troll for big game fish here in Hawaii. I have a 35 inch waist but there is Plenty of extra strap if a person is a lot bigger. Connects with a quick plastic buckle that will definitely suffice. Feels like it's going to be very comfortable and is definitely lightweight.

It works but kinda big for skinnier folks. It helped me reel in some feisty AJ, Bonita, Red Snapper and Gag Grouper last week. The bolt helped prevent my rod from spinning.

Saved me from lots of bruises on my last fishing trip. Improvement would be either a quickly removable pin or deeper well (for keeping the pin in) as not all rod butts are the same when fishing multiple rods.
