The belt tips down so much the rod falls out. I went to Loews and added a 1 1/2 in 90 degree elbow to it and it seems better,I haven't tried it yet but it feels right.

Looks like it will work...for my husband. I ordered for me, but this will not adjust to fit my 25” waist. I’d say if you have a 30” + waist this will work great for you.
