JaW : I love this knife!

I wanted a serrated fillet knife for the initial cuts to save dulling my regular fillet on scales. This knife is sharp, cuts easy, and feels super sturdy as well as ergonomical. This was a little more expensive than some of the other serrated fillet knives, but I feel it's well worth the price.

The pliers can only be held one way because of the grip, the jaws don’t match up very well, and the lanyard hole is on the wrong side. A little disappointed because good skinning pliers are hard to find.

Pretty sharp out of the box, and I really like the gut hook even for little things like cutting line. Overall solid only downside is that it is a little cumbersome.

Ugly Stick built a great filet knife with this one! The fit and feel is just right and the blade is awesome. The feel when filleting is comparable to bubba blade and others. Hard to clean snapper and drum without a great knife that's durable. The case also has a sharpener built in which is a great, functional touch. This knife was great all snapper season and beyond.

I have had this knife a month or two. Great blade, super sharp. Stayed sharp even after slicing through several frozen bunker! The only drawback, which to most will be minor is the handle could be a little smaller. Cumbersome at times. Overall I am very happy with the knife, and it is made really well.

The grip is great under wet conditions. The blade is sharp and holds an edge well. The sharpener on the sheath is why I bought it. Super convenient. Plenty of flex. I like it so far.

I am a full time charter captain in Western Washington. I go through at least a pair of shears or scissors every year. No more. Ugly Tools Marine Shears handle the saltwater environment very well and cut through anything I throw at it. I intentionally did not wash them down for two weeks and not a lick of corrosion. Highly recommended!

This is a great multi purpose knife for the money ... it is solidly built with a very nice non-slip grip and a full tang that has a notch in the end to tie a loop or a float to keep it secure should it go overboard ... The sheath is plastic, but vented so water doesn't stay on the knife ... three different blades allows me to use it almost anyway I want to ... great addition to my gear ...

Lu Family ???? : Weak tips, not worth it.

Taking them out of the box, I was really excited to try out these new filet knives. The problem was, that when I took them out of the box, the tips were bent! I don't know if this happened during shipping or manufacturing, but the tips eventually came off after use, which shows the quality. I don't think these are very good, but for the price, I can't really complain. At least the blades are sharp, and they are very long, so you won't have a problem cutting larger pieces as well, these will be great for fileting fish that I catch in the future. I just wish that the tips were a little more durable. The bag that they came with is nice, but I would still avoid this product and go for a single knife, even if it is a little more expensive.
