Great product for the money. The net floats and is incredibly lightweight as intended, and while at first glance it appears flimsy, it’s actually quite sturdy. You probably won’t catch any fat monsters in it, but should fit and work for most freshwater needs!

Great net! Just got it in the mail. Excited to use it in the water. Folds like it says abs great size abs weight to carry around while in the water. A must have. Will update when used. But for now. Great buy.

I don’t recommend this as it’s short and not strong enough to scoop a fish in. The only thing that okay is it can fold into my fishing bag.

You will not be disappointed. I was very surprised when I received my net, as it is strong, sturdy, and looks great! I dropped mine in the water off my boat, and float it did! My fishing buddy recently lost his net and sunk overboard off his kayak. This one will be with me for many years to come. My only desire would be for the net to have a larger mesh pattern. I took a video while using it and that will follow in another review.

It's a solid yet lightweight net that folds nicely and with the clip, can sit right on your belt or backpack. Combined with my pack, and telescoping fishing rod I have everything I need to be fully mobile and ready to fish anywhere without taking more than a corner of my trunk.

Easily folds. Has nice, what seems durable, foam grip. Wide mouth and thick rim. What impressed most was the rubberized net itself; nice touch. I was thinking to also use it for my pool, but holes are a bit large for the small debris.

I do mostly kayak and wade fishing so I needed something that was compact and also multi-use. This is a very well built net thats great for both types. Its also a knotless net design which is much safer for the fish, which I like because I mostly catch and release. I plan on also buying the telescopic version for fishing off docks.

This is a really nice net. My son and I regularly fish lakes and ponds for largemouth bass, crappie, bream, and catfish, and this net works well for those species. We are planning to go fishing for trout, so this will be easy to carry, and easy to use. All components seem to be well thought out and well made from quality materials.

I got the 1.5 meter net and it can extend longer than my yoga mat! The net is wide enough for big bass, carp, and catfish. It also has a durable pole and the foldable net connection is very strong metal. Flotation device is nice and thin around the rim of the net. Awesome for packing it up small to travel then unfolding for quick and easy use.

Fishing With The Oz : Very Good Net for Kayak Fishing

When I placed my order for this net I was a little concerned that it might be too small but after testing it out on the water it performed just fine. If you are a kayak fisherman you need a fishing net that is sturdy but compact, as space is limited on kayaks. This net definitely satisfies those needs and will easily handle most fish caught in fresh water or inshore salt water. However, if you routinely target larger fish, more than 25 inches long or weighing more than 7 pounds (give or take), then the larger telescopic version of this net is probably the better option.

This is my go to net! It’s large enough for big fish. Super strong, sturdy and doesn’t hold the fishy smell as much as other nets. Super helpful that it folds up as well.
