RH or LH use?

Answer: Works well on either hand. I cast right and wear it on my right hand, so I can strip line through the pads. Really saves the fingers.

Is there a size guide? I'm not sure what size to order.

Answer: No size guide that I remember.

Answer: Medium - .875" diameter (middle and index finger)

Answer: I got the medium. There is some stretch. Unless you have hands at either end of the spectrum (small or ex-large), standard size should suffice.

Answer: Historically they have run small relative to men’s glove sizes, so they are probably sized true for women’s glove sizes.

Answer: They are basically uni fit. I’m using them as a stripping guard.

What are these made of? Do they soak up water?

Answer: These are made of water resistant neoprene on the tan portion (so your fingers don't get too pruney), and a thick felt on the white portion. The felt is made to absorb liquid like floatant or fly line conditioner so you can condition your line as you fish and also protect your fingers from line burns.

Answer: its pretty much like shirt fabric. it will get wet and absorb water. i very rarely use it anymore.

Answer: A heavy felt pad and and around the fingers are is a flexible material. I used them in the Amazon jungle and loved them. They helped clean the line and saved my fingers. They held up to 6 days of fast stripping of line in extreme conditions.

Answer: I don't know what fabric they are made of. They do get wet. I use them whenever I streamer fish or chuck and duck with a running line while steelheading in Michigan. They do protect the fingers while stripping in line

I have pretty big hands (I wear XXL gloves). I bought the XL finger guard and it's just too tight. I like the concept of this product and it seems well made, but would recommend purchasing another solution if you wear XXL gloves.
