Questions about Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige, Automatic Food Sealer for Food Savers w /Starter Kit, Dry Moist Food Modes, Easy to Clean, Led Indicator Lights, Compact Design, Silver(Stainless Steel)
Q:
This item can vacuum soup based food?
Answer: I use food prep containers like these https://smile.amazon.com/Freshware-Containers-Compartment-Stackable-Dishwasher/dp/B073TRVFZS/ref=sr_1_5 to first freeze what I want to store. When frozen, I remove the item from the container and then vacuum seal the frozen food. As these fit in the sealer bags, sometimes I freeze container too. Just the bottom part, not with the lid. No mess..if you're quick. LOL
Answer: A really handy way to vacuum seal soupy stuff is put it in a low wide container not bigger than sealer bags. Freeze, pop out, put the frozen chunk of frozen liquid into the vacuum bag and seal. No mess, works like a charm! Cheers!
Q:
Vacuum no longer sucks air on any setting any assistance with this issue would be appreciated
Answer: It is a little particular about where you put the mouth of the bag, especially if you are using a roll and the plastic has a curvature. The mouth needs to stay in the center of the vacuum chamber AFTER you close the lid. Sometimes it takes a second or third try.
Answer: Mine has done the same thing. I used once a few months back, today I went to use and it won't suck any air out. Disappointed in this product.
Answer: Same thing here. Worked fine the first day using it, second time out of the box it would vac half the air out if you were lucky, then seal the bag. Their customer service has been HORRIBLE to deal with.
Answer: If it were me, I would contact customer service. I have only used mine in a test and had no problems.
Q:
How do you return this machine? i've had for about a month and 1/2. used it 4 times. it died today. not worth the cost for 4 bag seals .
Answer: You can complain to Amazon if you want, but it is a no name bare bones ultra budget product with zero support. These are the kinds of things you buy for a quick fix and don't even bother crying about when they only work half a dozen times before hitting the garbage bin.
Answer: I wish i knew how also. I am dissatisfied with the sealer. doesn't suck all the air out of the bag before it seals it.
Answer: Not a good product. I tried to review to warn people but Amazon rejected my review because it talked about the “pay” to review efforts the seller makes. I am been scammed. This is not a 4.5 star product. Bout for $30 and they offered $30 credit for a good review and I know. Nothing good is free.
Answer: I had exactly the same problem. Returned it.
Q:
what is the largest width this model will seal?
Answer: The sealing strip is 11.5 inches wide.
Q:
I had a food saver sealer and quite a few rolls of sealer bag material left. smooth on one side and textured on the other. will work in this one?
Answer: Make sure you are using vacuum sealer bags with texture on one or both sides; the bags with no texture can only for seal, not for vacuum.
Q:
Is there any difference between the model e2902-ms in your store and the model e2900-ms in other stores?
Answer: Yes, our E2902-MS is a full stainless steel panel, and the E2902-MS is a new version of the E2900-MS.
Q:
Bought this and i cannot get it to work, help please! I followed the instructions, i can’t get stuff to vacuum seal, only seal. Help!
Answer: We did also and the first few times it was used it did vacuum seal; after about the third time it would only seal. I would not recommend this product to anyone....
Answer: it took me a couple trys too, you have to put the bag only half way in stop at the middle part then you have to press hard on the side closing mechanisum until you hear a snap on both sides then it works.
Answer: My husband and I both tried it and the only way we could get it to vacuum was to lean all or our body weight on it after we closed it and heard the clicks. We returned ours.
Answer: We couldn’t either at first, but realized you have to place the plastic in the front of the machine where the air will be sucked out and not past that point.
Q:
i just bought this vacuum sealer and it is not vacuuming. what can I do?
Answer: Return it and buy a food saver from Walmart. That’s what I did because my wasn’t vacuuming either.
Answer: I found that the 11 inch bags don't work . Try the 8 inch bags they seem to work fine.
Q:
I cant get it to vacuum seal.
Answer: Sent mine back and ordered the Icetek for the same price. Works much better.
Q:
Is this supposed to come with the accessory hose? The one I just purchased did not.
Answer: Yes, if says “with food sealer starter kit” mine had a short hose to attach to vacuum port on the Enterige machine. It can be used with Enterige vacuum sealed containers with special top on them. Also with minor alteration can be fitted to work with the Food Saver brand canning jar attachments. Amazon description says “1xvacuum sealer hose
Answer: The one I purchased did have a vacuum hose.
Answer: Yes it comes with hose. Very good machine
Answer: Mine did, but I'd advise sending it back and buying a better quality one. Mine quit vacuuming all the air after the first use. Customer service from them is terrible also. I will avoid this store and product with my life after this.
Answer: No, it doesn't..You'll have to buy the Jar sealer kit .

Answer: Ha! Thanks for asking, that’s why I came to the reviews. Why is there a baby blanket with my sealer?
Answer: Yes. It’s used on the stainless steel to shine it.
Answer: I wondered the same thing!! It's not listed on the box...I was so confused! I came here to find a link to email the seller and find out about it! So glad I wasn't the only one!! :)
Answer: Yes, not sure what for though
Q:
Is this supposed to have come with the canister? If not, where do I get it?
Answer: No it doesn't come with canister - think you can find them on amazon
Answer: I only received the tube for it. I thought you had to separately purchase that.
Answer: Mine did not
Q:
Is this machine suppose to automatically seal on moist mode
Answer: Yes it will seal
Answer: One of the buttons is for moist/dry modes
Q:
“Seller” what is the actual Warranty ?
Answer: It's a total piece of garbage. Don't waste your money. I used it and it 'vacuumed and sealed' very slowly. A week later all bags had come unsealed. Spend a little more and get more. It only has good ratings because they offer to send you free bags if you give them five stars. I sent it back.
Answer: One year warranty
Answer: 1yr. Let me add that the machine is amazing. It works as well as those selling for 100 or more. Great find
Q:
How does the wine sealer work?
Answer: Yes
Q:
What about the suction power? Is really good?
Answer: Have different mode suction

Answer: Yes, I had no issues sealing frozen items.
Answer: Yes! I reorganized my whole freeze the 1st day I received it!! Gained SO much room!
Answer: I don't see why it couldn't
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes
Q:
How wide is the heal seal (on the bag) for this? I see that other machines have about 2-3mm
Answer: 3 mm
Q:
does this machine seal mylar bags? Can you use any brand of bags to seal?
Answer: It does not seal mylar bags. I use the ones they came with and I the FoodSaver brand bags also.
Answer: According to the instruction manual, it does.
Q:
Is there a reset button for the heating element? No longer seals after using it a few times. I followed instructions; waited time before each seal.
Answer: I would absolutely send it back. Cheapest way of course. It’s a paper weight now.
Q:
Can you use this with crackers?
Answer: Crackers would not work in any vacuum but you could seal the bag after expressing as much air as possible.
Answer: I would imagine so. You could skip the suction function so that they wouldn’t crack the crackers
Answer: Yes
Q:
What bags are recommended
Answer: Make sure you are using vacuum sealer bags with texture on one or both sides; the bags with no texture can only for seal, not for vacuum.
Answer: Hi! Any bags with grooves on the inside will do. I bought this one: Vacuum Sealer Rolls Bag, 6 Pack... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D8PKCWL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Answer: I have used just vacuum seal bags any will work.
Q:
Does this vacuum sealer make it air tight? I have a vacuum sealer that once "vacuumed sealed" you can still move the food around in the bag somewhat.
Answer: It for sure keeps things air tight! If you are doing meats, they will have a small amount of "wiggle room" because the meat expands once frozen.
Answer: It removes the air and makes it air tight. Food doesn't move around.
Answer: the same thing happens sometimes when the vacuume doesen't pull all the air from the baz.
Answer: yes it does
Q:
Is the packaging for this product discreet? I’m getting it as a gift.
Answer: It arrived in a larger Amazon box. Beware the "special offer" for free bags with a 5 star review is a bait and swap.
Answer: Mine came in a typical Amazon box
Q:
the machine has stopped working after 8 months. it's too late to return to amazon. how do I get the warranty?
Answer: Call the manufacturer
Q:
Will someone tell me specifically how to use the accessory feature (hose function)? which buttons, etc? I can't get it to work to seal jars. Thanks
Answer: I never used this before.
Q:
Can I return mine for testing if I have never seen the vacuum on it work?
Answer: You must put the sealer bag opening in the correct location of the vacuum sealer area. If put in too far, or not far enough, it doesn’t work. Also, must use textured bags for it to work properly. Don’t forget to LOCK the side locks before using, or it won’t work to seal. Hope this helps. Read instructions very carefully.
Q:
Does it only work with bags that have texture on both sides? I ordered it and now am using other bags with only texture on one side and it won’t work.
Q:
does this machine seal mylar bags?
Answer: No. This machine seals by melting
Answer: Yes it will seal mylar bags just the same way it seals other bags
Answer: I can’t say anything about Mylar but I tried regular zip lock bags. It sealed them but didn’t suck the air out
Q:
Does it have a hose for the jar sealer?
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes it does
Answer: yes it does.
Answer: Yes
Answer: YES IT DOES
Q:
Where can I buy containers that are compatible?
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: Tons of these are available on Amazon.
Q:
Which canisters fit the tube attachment that comes with this? Not all canisters have the same fitting. Entrige offers no help at all on this.
Answer: Don't buy it. It's horrible and useless. This is coming from an experienced vacuum sealer user. I made the mistake of purchasing this but rectified that mistake by sending it back for a refund.
Q:
Can you use any sealer bags with this - or is there a specific kind?
Answer: I used a generic kind, found on amazon, and worked just fine. Make sure they have a textured side to them (unlike a ziplock type bag)
Answer: I bought the first sealer bags that popped up in my search and they worked just as well as the ones that came with the sealer.
Answer: We have only used the bags it came with.
Answer: They all work I’m pretty sure
Q:
When I use the vac/seal button it will keep vacuuming forever and never seals? The seal function does work just by itself though.
Answer: I believe I made the same mistake and I suspect the end of your bag is not centered inside the vacuum ring/oval. It’s the area just past the heat seal strip. Make sure your bag opening doesn’t extend past that area.
Answer: Read the instructions and the picture associated with the unit. It took me a few times to figure it out, but it works great!
Answer: Mine was opposite. Seal worked and vacuum didn’t. Sent it back
Answer: Make sure the bag is positioned in between the 2 sealer bars. That happens occasionally to me when bag off a bit.
Answer: Sounds about right
Q:
Can you custom size each bag?
Answer: Yes you can. Bags that you customize come on a roll. You cut size you need seal the bottom. Fill it up then fill the top.
Q:
Energia 220v?
Q:
Will it work on fresh caught fish?
Answer: Yes, it has a dry and moist setting. It has sealed my chicken and beef flawlessly. Don't see why fish would be any different.
Answer: Yes it's great. I have used it for both already frozen and fresh fish!
Answer: It doesn't seem to work oin anything but yes, a better vacuum sealer will.
Answer: Dear customer,
Answer: I don’t see why not, there’s a wet and a dry button. I just love my food sealer!!
Answer: Don’t know why not just hit moist button and vac seal
Answer: Yes, just need to use the moist setting.
Q:
I received a business card with the sealer, saying, lifetime warranty, can this be verified? Entrige has not replied to my email!
Answer: We received one offering a gift card and haven’t received that either. Hopefully, a follow-up email will produce a positive result.
Q:
I press hard on both side of the lid but the lid never lock. I applied pressure by hand but it doesn't suck all air out. Is it a defective unit?
Answer: Mine does seem kinda tough to get the two tabs to lock. Try seeing if the lid locks while there arent any bags in the machine just to see if it locks, that what i did to see how hard to push. If it still doesnt lock then i would contact the seller
Answer: make sure that you only have the bag and not any of the contents in the machine. If it still does not lock, I would contact for some tech support.
Answer: The opening of the bag needs to sit inside the hole when closed, and as straight as possible.
Answer: Both sides should snap together if not then something must be wrong.
Q:
what coyntry is this product made in?
Answer: China
Q:

Where do i buy the compatible containers for the suction hose? i have searched amazon & can't find any that are entrige brand. please post link.
Answer: Hello, so sorry that our brand don't sell container. You can search for vacuum container. Please remember to buy containers that can be used for vacuum. Because our vacuum machine has the attached air sunction hose. It is recommended that when you buy a vacuum container, ask the buyer if there is a delivery tube. If there is, it is the best. At that time, you can combine the air sunction hose supplied with our vacuum machine and the air sunction hose delivered by the container.

Product reviews of Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige, Automatic Food Sealer for Food Savers w /Starter Kit, Dry Moist Food Modes, Easy to Clean, Led Indicator Lights, Compact Design, Silver(Stainless Steel)
JohnnieGirrrl : Burn Hazard
Edited Review - Seller has sent 4 e-mails asking me to remove this review or change it to 5 stars in exchange for $30.00 - $40.00. They state they are using a different manufacturer now...however, my review relates to a design issue. If you decide to purchase, be sure there is a "nub" or a "tab" added to the device in order to lift the cover to avoid burning yourself. Unsure what they'll do (or claim to do) to fix the problem of loose and/or incomplete vacuum sealing.
I have now updated the rating from 2 stars to 1 star because I don't like the idea of "buying" a good review, especially when the item is a burn hazard.
Original Review - Doesn't remove all the air and there's no handle or "nub" to lift the cover after sealing. I've burnt myself once trying to get the thing open. Now I just struggle with it and very cautiously yet clumsily open the cover after sealing in order to avoid burning myself.
Slow Reader, Old Eye's : Sorry my review's aren't for sell
I bought this because it was recommend by Amazon and had loads of good reviews. After receiving it it had a coupon for free bags if you gave it a 5 star review. My review's are not for sale! I don't review everything I buy but I am honest when I do. I try not to give bad reviews unless I truly believe it's warranted. Let's start with the pros of the unit. 1. It's cost is good middle of the road. 2. It's seals the bags nicely and will do more than seal a meal will before it gets to hot. 3. It does pull a good vacuum although it is slower than others I've used. 4. The lid lock is almost a must for me as I am not that young anymore and it works. I like it better than the single lever used on the more expensive units. 5. The leds are somewhat helpful as to how close it is to having a good vacuum. 6. This one at first I hated but after sealing up more than 100lbs of smoked meat for my freezer I came to understand why it worked better than the units without it. When sealing up one end of a cut bag it draws a vacuum on the for a few seconds before sealing. I have noticed that I have fewer wrinkles on the seal. So I do like this a whole lot but it takes some getting used to.
Now the cons. 1. The is light and does not weigh much. I had a Black and Decker sealer that was the same way and it did good in the shop sealing up even heavy things. This unit does NOT have rubber feet. They are a hard material and slide around making it harder to use overall. 2. The dip area in the sealing area is very shallow, to shallow. It's make it harder to get the bags in right when the unit moves around and this unit is super easy to move around. 3. The short cord means you have to be close to your outlet. I would like the better if it had a longer cord
The few con's I have about the unit are big ones even though they may seem small at first. If it had rubber feet so it didn't move so much and a deeper drip bay then this unit very hard to beat. As it is it's not the easiest to use but does a good.
Esther : Read directions on how to take air out
The directions are good and work well. Just make sure you add the extra 2 1/2 inches over the size of what your sealing so it will fit into the machine properly. It would have been nice if there was room in the machine for a roll of plastic. Other than that , it['s a good buy. As for freshness, seals well, but haven't opened anything yet to answer that question..
wave : Awsome little machine
EDIT. This machine was our first vacuum sealer and I was impressed at first we didn't use it all that much, then it got a little moisture in it and the moter fried. We had it on the moist setting and gentle we werent offered any type of return for this malfunction. They offer you an incentive for a 5 star review an e gift card, or a roll of vacuum seal bags which I wrote the review and chose the e gift card sent them the email confirmation but recieved nothing what a joke I know it is an inexpensive sealer but was very disappointed they wanted the review promiced a gift that I never recieved. An addition it was a somwhat finicky machine when it was working the bags had to be just right or wouldnt work.My only advice is look elswhere spend a bit more this is basically a throw away device.
This usvacuum sealer is impressive we have used it for many different types of food including chips, jerky, steaks, veggies, etc. We recently made a large batch of beef jerky. Froze them in small bags that I take for lunches. It is our first vacuum sealer this unit has great suction it removes pretty much all of the air out of the bags even with liquid in some of them. Very glad we purchased this vacuum sealer not to mention the great price we paid.
Tracy Shea : Absolutely worthless.
Worthless. No suction at all. Waste of money. Hasnt sealed a bag yet. Can't even suck the air out. Don't waste your money.
Amazon Customer : Easy to use and works well.
I had been wanting a vacuum sealer for a long time and finally pulled the plug. As soon as I got this one I took several items that I had in my freezer in ziplock bags and vacuum sealed them. I sealed leftover pizza, sliced ham, and several bags of vegetables. It shrunk all the bags real tight just like packages you'd get from the store.
The main thing I wanted to seal was soup. I made a large pot of beef vegetable soup and froze individual servings in plastic bowls and once frozen, I took them out and vacuum sealed all of them. That worked much better than what I used to do, which was to stick a straw in the bags and suck out the air.
Melodie L. : Why did I wait so long?
Why did I wait so long to purchase a vacuum sealer? I’ve wasted so much food over the years but not anymore! This product works great and it’s so quick and easy to use. The first thing I sealed were hamburger patties that were already frozen and stacked in a bag. I separated them and sealed 2 to a package because there are only two people in our house. Usually they end up getting so much freezer burn that they get tossed. I’m confident that they will stay perfectly sealed and ready for the grill whenever I need them. Next I sealed homemade protein bars that tended to go stale or grow mold before they were consumed. They are costly and I’ve had to throw to many away, wasting more money. It comes with some bags and a small roll of plastic bags to cut to the length you need. It also comes with an attachment to use for special containers. It will reseal chip bags, no need for bag clips and keeps your chips fresh. So many times I’ve had to throw away fresh fruit or vegetables because I didn’t get to use them before they went bad. I look forward to sealing them to help them stay fresh longer.
genabil : Deceptive ratings
I purchase mainly based on star ratings from others. When I received this item I found a small card which said if I would give them a 5 star rating they would give me a $30.00 gift card to Amazon. In essence, making the unit a $30.00 item plus invalidating all the 5 star ratings I saw. I returned this item because of the noise, suction seemed weak and deceptive advertising.
J. Fielek : A nice vacuum sealer at a good price.
TL;DR — great value, works well with a couple small idiosyncrasies that are just part of the learning curve.
I’d been looking for a vacuum sealer for a while and at this price point it was worth snagging.
The sealer came with a few larger bags and a small roll of 8” bags. The roll requires that you cut it to length, seal one end, put in whatever you’re preserving, and then run the vacuum sealing cycle. It’s simpler than it sounds. It’s extremely simple to operate, but may take a few tries to get a feel for how much bag you’ll need.
Usage is straightforward. If you’re using a roll, you first cut it to fit the item to be stored. Next, place one end of the bag over the sealing bar, close the cover, and press the “seal” button.
After that, you load the bag, and place the open end into the vacuum chamber (it will lay across the sealer as well), close the cover, and press “vacuum and seal”. It’ll suck the air out and then seal the bag after the air has been sucked out.
Two minor issues :
The bag needs to have an extra inch or so to ensure it reaches the vacuum chamber. If it’s too short the vacuum can’t suck the air out of the bag and it’ll never seal. The same holds true if the bag isn’t placed far enough over the edge of the vacuum chamber.
When sealing or vacuum sealing, the cover must be completely closed. Both latches (one on either side) must click closed, or the vacuum can’t do its job, and the sealer won’t have full contact across the bag.
I also purchased a couple rolls of 8” bags from another manufacturer and they work perfectly. You need a textured bag for the vacuum to work; smooth bags won’t let the vacuum suck out the air.
Roberta L : So Easy to Use!
I bought this product mainly for freezing leftovers instead of using freezer bags that aren't vacuum sealed. Our first use, however, was to split up a large package of breakfast sausage patties and freeze them. I had trouble with the first bag because I didn't have the opening in the vacuum area. Once I figured that out, it works great! So easy too! I love it! I foresee using it often in the future, especially at Christmas time when I bake a bazillion cookies. We put dozens of them in freezer bags, partially seal the bag, stick a straw in the bag to suck out the air before sealing completely. This vacuum sealer is going to be worth every penny spent on it when I don't have to choke on powdered sugar anymore!
Mark Meeks : Disappointed
I just received this today in the mail and was so excited after all the positive reviews. The first bag of hamburger I done, vacuumed decently and sealed mostly, but left a small section open so air went right back in. Second bag, the vacuum didn’t do hardly anything and the same thing with the seal. I follow the instructions closely also. Will be returning product.
David Rysdam : It works great...when it works at all.
About 10% of the time, it just refuses to vacuum the bag. After messing with it a few times, I think it's just poor design.
The bags are "ribbed" so the air has channels to escape through when the lid is closed. But let's say you just sealed some bags already. You put the next bag in and close the lid. The still-hot heater strip warms the bag enough that the ribs collapse, making it impossible for the vacuum pump to remove the air. It just sits there, doing nothing.
You now have to not only wait for the unit to cool but also throw away the flattened bag and use another. Time-consuming, frustrating and a waste of plastic.
Tyler Morgan : Seals food well at a fantastic price point!
I purchased this vacuum sealer and have used it for approximately one month. I wanted to run it through the ringer before leaving a review and I have to say, it held up to everything I have thrown at it. Wet food, dry food, delicate food, sharp bones in hard food. I have had no issues! I recently started making my own sausages and when I brought some over to a friend (who owns a butcher shop) he marveled at the quality of the packaging and mentioned how he has had many problems in the past with other vacuum sealers busting the sausage castings. I directed him towards this product and he has since, purchased it and shares my upmost appreciation for it's quality. If you are on the fence about purchasing, take Shia Lebouf's advice and "JUST DO IT". No more frostbitten food from the archimedes method of displacing the air in a ziplock bag by dunking it in a sink full of water. Just Frozen food, easily thawed, with no hassle! Thank you for taking the time to read this review! Hopefully you purchase this product and share in my enthusiasm!
Suzy O : Not the easiest to use and lasted about 1 1/2 months before dieing
I bought this machine in July and it died on me in Sept. The instructions are not the best as to how to use the machine. Implementing the locking parts is somewhat difficult, almost to the point where it feels like you are breaking the locking parts. I feel that this product is a total rip off. I've used it 4 times in the last month and 1/2 and sealed 6 bags, (2 of which I've had to reseal, as the first seal did not stay sealed). I do NOT recommend buying this product as there is no way to have it fixed or returned if it fails in the first couple of times it is used.
Trip : Before buying a GERYON or FoodSaver you should Look at this one by Entrige
Ok, did a lot of research before buying this product. I have a FoodSaver that died and was a complete pain to use and clean. In looking for a new one I wanted to find a product that just worked. I found it.
Pros: - The sealer and bag prep just works: lock, push the button and sealed. My food saver was hit and miss here. - The Vacuum is strong, works great, no issues. - Buttons are very clearly marked. - Delivered to my door, opened box and was sealing within minutes. - Very easy to clean and store. Again, my FoodSaver always felt dirty. This is easier to clean.
Cons: - If you cut the bag too small (like half width on the roll), the vacuum seal never stops. On my FoodSaver you could hit a button to stop the process at the current vacuum and seal. But it got me there. This is really me wanting to use smaller bag width. Seems like a waste but whatever. - The food saver had a built in cutter for bags. Meh. Not a big deal, keep scissors close by.
That's really it. Love this device. Can't go wrong for the money if you just want something for simple sealing.
Now, as I mentioned, comparing this to the GERYON. Take a close look. This unit costs $45 and the GERYON costs $69. That seems to be the only difference between the two. The specs are the same, the buttons are labeled the same, even the marketing literature is along the same lines (Check out the graphic for water and washing, looks pretty similar, no?). All differences appear to be cosmetic. Which leads me to believe these are sourced from the same factory (a hunch).
I think I made the right choice for my uses and saved some money in the long run.
Denise916 : Not Worth The Price
I bought this vacuum sealing machine because it had good reviews. I was very disappointed with it. The instructions were easy enough to follow, but it said to press the 2 buttons on the sides until you hear a sound on both sides. The buttons never made a sound. The vacuum function did not work at all. I sent it back.
Meghan Dunigan : LOVE!!!!!
LOVE!!! I wanted to buy bulk food, now that I’m eating healthier. But I did not enjoy not having portion sizes freezer burned meat or having to thaw out entire packages just to get one portion out. This just came in and I’ve already done 10lbs of chicken in a mater of 10 mins. The buttons are pretty self explanatory, I didn’t even read the directions. You can see where the sealer is and there’s a spot that the vacuum seal area. You press the seal button if you have to seal one side and then insert the product in the pocket and put the other side into the vacuum seal area, close both sides till you hear the click then press vacuum seal and it with vacuum the area and seal it in like 30 seconds. If you notice it taking longer than that, then it can’t suck out all the air( there’s probably a crease) just press the stop button, adjust the close the lid again and vacuum. SUPER EASY. Not to loud, I was still able to hold a conversation with someone over the phone.
Nicholas C. : Scam alert. Bad product and "they" try to get you to change your review
I purchased this item last Fall 2020. It worked for about 3 months then died. I thought maybe I used it too much (2x per week) and burned out the motor. I ordered another one and that one stopped working too. I then left a bad review (as I should to warm other potential buyers) and "they" contacted me via email stating they would give me $50 back if I removed the review. I took them up on their offer (don't ever do that) and they never refunded me my money. They also claim to have switched manufactures for this product. They did not. Same as last year with no change at all. This is a total scam. Avoid.
BrewCityMusic : Replaced my 13yr-old Foodsaver, and VERY glad i chose this model
After 16+ years my trusty FoodSaver Brand machine finally gave up the ghost, and after some research i decided to give this unit a try as i really don't need a cutter, bag storage, etc - I will be upfront and say that I was skeptical of a unit that cost this little (back in the day my FS was over $180) however I just spent about an hour putting it through its' paces and to be honest, I am QUITE impressed w the unit so far. Cycle time is much faster than the old FS unit, and this thing easily has (I would estimate) 2-3X the vac power that my old FS had when new.
A few things that aren't a gripe but will take some getting used to, on the old FS the weight was all in the base, on this one it's all in the top/lid, which makes for some sliding around until You get the hang of it. On the same note, the sealing element is in the lid, so it's a bit fiddly to guesstimate the exact place where the bag will seal, especially if You like to double-seal like I do (worst case scenario until You get the hang of it You will waste maybe 1/4" of bag) ... Also, this unit is quite a bit louder than the FS, but that's just fine and likely a product of having a MUCH stronger vac motor. Don't seal stuff at 3AM and nobody will notice, LOL.
The drip tray on this model is fairly shallow, but it's quite wide and should be easy to clean - also, the old FS had levers on each side to lock it down for sealing where this is a "press-to-lock" style, again, just a slightly different procedure due to a different design so not a big deal - it DOES take a bit of elbow-grease to lock it, but I am guessing as the foam seals break in this will become easier (and a tight fit makes for a tight seal so no complaints there).
All in all, Given the price point and vac strength - I have nothing but thumbs up for this sealer so far. Personally, I doubt I will have a use for the 2 vac strengths except maybe for prepping Sous Vide, but I prefer to prep the product frozen anyhow and allow it to thaw with whatever seasonings, etc I put in the bag (and I like a tightly sealed bag when doing Sous Vide to preserve the juices, etc while cooking IN the meat, not the bag) ... I have a bunch of the FS lids and containers that work fine w this unit that I generally use to preserve things that can easily crush (dried Morels, etc) - again, these are just my observations, You may have different needs.
I guess the best way to sum up this review is to say that the function of the unit exceeded my expectations, and of course after using my old trusty FS several times a week over the last 16yrs a few different "tricks" to using the new one are to be expected. I would guess that if THIS was the first one I had, I would be off-the-charts happy with it, and at the price point, there is no excuse NOT to have a Vac Sealer. On a side note, they included a small (I'm guessing 10ft, maybe?) roll of bags and a stack of pre-cut, as well as a nice microfiber (no really - not your average junk, but a nice, 2-layer stitched 12X12) which was a nice touch. The real only downside I can see that I know will bother Me down the road is that I am used to a spot under my old unit to wrap/store the cord, which this doesn't have - but I already have a nice velour bag from a guitar pedal rig that fits it quite well, so I'm likely to not sweat that as long as this lasts a few years.
Amanda : Don't hesitate, buy it!!
My wife has been wanting this for a long long time, finally, she got it! :) She saw one of her friends had this kind of machine and she really loves it. She wanted to buy one but the big brand is kind of pricy which made her hesitate to buy it. She was searching on Amazon and found this. It has a great review and the price is reasonable, so she decided to give it a try! She is so glad she did it, lol... It's such a handy machine, and very easy to use. It comes with a couple of precut storage bags and a roll of customized bags. She said it took her a couple of minutes to figure it out although the instruction is very clear. There are only a few buttons on the machine, u can use for dry and moist food. She did both and it turned out good, and it only takes a few seconds to sear. Look at the pic I attached. In this way, it helped to save the food longer and save some space in the fridge. She is happy, so I'm happy too.
Jade W : DO NOT BUY, I BOUGHT MYSELF TROUBLE
Suction power is much weaker than my last one which I bought 5 years ago at a lower price. Extremely picky on how flat the plastic bag lay on the edge and needs ling extra to make it work. I’m spending so much time trying to bag my food. I bought myself trouble. I hope you can avoid this. Update: I received it January 2nd. Now it’s end of February. It completely lost the function of sucking the air out. It can seal the bags. Tried different brands of textured bags for food vacuum sealers, not sucking out the air not working at all now it’s a piece of junk. Reducing to 1 star for the two months’ life span or I would have wanted to give zero star.
MDIrwin : So Easy!
I can not believe I did not buy this earlier! So easy to use and it has already saved me money. I received the Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige four days after ordering it! Loved that! Since then I have sealed a months worth of meat and veggies, but more importantly Left-overs! I always make more spaghetti sauce than I use in one meal. Most of the time it goes to waste. Now I freeze it in a plastic container, a serving at a time, then vacuum seal it. Now I just do the boiling bag and eat thing! Nothing wasted! I am disabled. Many nights I am unable to stand over the stove and cook a meal. So TV Dinners. :-( Now I cook several meals in larger quantities, when I can, and freeze single portions for when I can not cook! Wonderful! It, the Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige also saves me money because nothing goes to waste, and I can buy bigger and portion things up. I had always thought this would have been overly expensive, but by buying the rolls it is just the opposite, quite affordable. Give this a try, I believe you will like it as much as I am!
P.S. The cleaning cloth they include is a wonderful touch! Keeps the machine clean without scratches!
byakuya : Price, Function, Durability
I've had this vacuum sealer for over a month now and I can say with confidence that its worth every penny. I refrained myself from reviewing products personally, but this product just had to be shared. I've been using this for multiple purposes from sealing processed food to packaging items. It has been a month+ since I've begun to use it and it seems to be holding up and working flawlessly. For the price of $53.49 to include a Lifetime Warranty is just a steal, of course within reason of it breaking. I'm a first time user myself so I was personally a bit uneasy to be working with such a new product. It comes with easy step by step instructions easy enough to read and understand for anyone. I hope this review was helpful for those who were seeking questions.
D. R. : Excellent and simple to use vacuum sealer!
Very pleased with this Entridge Vacuum Sealer. It does everything the product description claims and works flawlessly.
I had considered some of the larger, more expensive brands but I'm glad I decided on this model since it has a small footprint on the kitchen counter and has a stainless steel lid cladding that matches our other appliances.
At first, I had a couple of bags that weren't sealing because I had a wrinkle in the bag, but the trick to eliminating this is once the bag is in place, lock one side of the top and then with your now free hand, gently pull the other side of the bag taught before locking in the other side. Works every time.
As of this writing, as others have said, the company offers a gift certificate for leaving a review. As a long time Amazon buyer that relies on verified purchasers' reviews to help make buying decisions, I would not leave a good review to mislead others. This product absolutely deserves 5 stars because it's great!
EnjoyLife : Great for small batches
I'm single and do quite a bit of meal prep. I've now used this vacuum sealer for about a month and can say that I'm satisfied at the job it does for the price point. I typically double seal 4 - 7 items in quick succession. This little unit has held up really well. It warms up very quickly and I typically only have to wait for it to cool down once before proceeding, after the 4th item or so, and only for a couple of minutes. The top and bottom parts detach and the rubber/foam pieces on the bottom can also removed so the bottom part can be easily cleaned. Putting the unit back together is a breeze. Since my family has had a few vacuum sealers over the years, the noise that I hear from this I consider "average". It's just a bit louder than a microwave when it's running.
don : Don't waste your money
You get what you pay for. I thought we'd try this machine because it had 4.8 stars and a lot of positive reviews. We must have gotten a lemon. I had 9 frozen steaks to seal. Totally frozen, zero moisture. I had to reseal 4 of them. When I was done resealing those, 2 more bags had air in them. I don't mean just a little air, they had lost all the sealed suction. This piece of junk is going back tomorrow.
Mark Merritt : Could not be happier with this purchase
My wife and I are now "empty nesters" and have downsized from a 2,500 square foot home on five and a half acres to an 850 square foot cottage in town... Two challenges exist for nearly every food purchase: space and storage...
Space in nearly every aspect of our lives is precious... It is particularly significant in food storage... We have a single refrigerator / freezer now instead of two full refrigerators and two freezers previously... Much of the food we purchase is far more economical in units larger than one meal for two people... Keeping unused or left over portions wholesome and tasty is a significant issue...
A friend recommended we consider a shrink wrap sealer machine... We did some homework and decided on the Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige... Could not be happier... This nearly eighty year-old really likes the ease of use and simplicity of the instructions...
We started by "repackaging" many of the large bagged items in our freezer (shrimp, scallops, vegetables, meats, etc.) into single meals for two portions using this machine... We gained back nearly a quarter of the space taken by the larger packages... Not only were the packages smaller but also they could be fitted into the nooks and crannies of space that were impossible for the larger packages... And, the new packages are truly airtight which would not have been possible even with freezer zipper bags...
We've "played" with the machine on food that comes from the store in Mylar style bags: potato chips, cookies, etc. The machine quickly evacuates the air and seals the bags with the uneaten food it them... Contents were crisp and tasty even days after sealing... We cooked more than we ate for Thanksgiving... We've bagged and vacuum sealed leftovers for refrigerator or freezer... The look great... Will update this review in a few weeks to share how that worked out... But, if what we've seen to this point is any indication, I'm sure it will be fine...
This machine just may show up under the Christmas tree for several of our adult children and grandchildren...
S. Will : Doesn't work as advertised, don't buy
I bought it for my husband as a gift and specifically purchased this one because it was recommended by a YouTube Chef we love, and the reviews seemed okay. Unfortunately it has never worked properly or consistently. As you can see in the video it just keeps making noise like it's vacuuming the air out if the bag, but it doesn't get all the air out and it doesn't seal. At other times it doesn't vacuum it will just seal the bag after two seconds of suction, leaving lots of air still in the bag. We have wasted so many bags trying to get this to work. Now we just went back to using ziplock bags. Such a waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

izzy : SO DISAPPOINTED - short life span
i am soooooo disappointed. i was LOVING this product for the 3ish months it worked (bought it in april 2020). now, doesnt seal anything “moist” (think raw chicken or anything with juices). i have taken meticulous care of it. i wipe it down after every use; i store it in the box it came in; i wait 40+ seconds between seals as it directs. i really wish i could get my money back.
The Reverend A.J. Miller : NOPE
For clarity, I did not write this review in exchange for a free or discounted item. In fact, i turned down multiple offers of a discount from the manufacturer in exchange for writing a more positive review, or just deleting it.
this machine was bought as a replacement for a different vacuum sealer, which failed after 12 minutes of use. I bough this unit based on positive user reviews and affordable price point.
I was unable to seal a single bag with this machine. at one point I let the vacuum run for 3 minutes (!!!) waiting for it to vacuum seal the bag, before trying to trick the machine and manually seal it while the vacuum was engaged. it wouldn't fully seal the bag, even without vacuum - as if there was several small breaks in the heating element.
In the end, to avoid my getting even more upset, I decided to go ahead and spend the money and ended up with a Nesco VS-12 vacuum sealer, which I am very pleased with.

SaMimi : DO NOT BUY!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODCUT! IT IS JUNK! I wanted to like this, but it's a poor piece of equipment that does not work properly. The bags, and I have tried differnt brands, never keep their seal. I have had a vacuum sealer before that was good until it was not. This one just always sucks. And not even the way it's supposed to.

Antoinette Trinidad : Buyer Beware!
After a few weeks of use this vacuum sealer started to consistently overheat even with light use! Customer service is unresponsive so warranty doesn’t matter... they state the item has a lifetime warranty. Buyer beware... I’ve learned my lesson. Now in trash.
Dad the engineer : Terrific vacuum sealer!
I've had other vacuum sealers in the past and paid a lot more for them, but this one is better. I was skeptical at first for the amount that it cost. However, I read the reviews and figured I'd take the risk. With all the Covid stuff going on I wanted to be a little more prepared and get all my frozen meats out of zip lock bags and vacuum sealed. So far, I've only use the bag sealer and it has done beautifully. For first time vacuum sealers, as word of advice, it is best to flash freeze your meat first (using another bag or even a tray). Lay all the meat out individually. Then you take the frozen meat and place them in the vacuum sealer bags. It really does a great job eliminating the air. There is also a setting for moist or dry foods. I even vacuum seal bread. Just place the bread in the freezer (in original packaging) overnight and the next day place it in vacuum sealer bag. I am pleased with this purchase. The product looks good and is quick/easy to use.
Mark B : Easy to use and reliable
After toying with the idea of buying a food vacuum sealer for years, I finally took the plunge and am so happy I chose this product. My plan was to use it primarily for storing bulk food long term, as my wife and I both love Costco meats but rarely eat enough steak/chicken/pork/salmon to make it worth buying the large quantities. I have used it so far to make vacuum sealed freezer ready portions of all of the above meats. The sealer was easy to use with intuitive buttons and set up, although the instruction manual does spell everything out as well. I also have used it to marinate our meat and holy cow, compared to regular ziplock bags, there is SO much more flavor with vac sealing for the marinade as it allows for constant contact of the flavors. Lastly, I like that the product comes in a nice box which I plan to keep it in when not in use and it fits nicely in one of our bottom cupboards. Overall, highly recommend.
D.R. : Works very well. What a timesaver.
This machine works very well. I sealed 11 bags of ground beef, 1 lb each. I think problems other buyers have experienced with it not sealing was due to user error because they didn't make sure the opening was smooth and wrinkle free. I had a couple not seal because of this, but they sealed well once I re-positioned and smoothed the edge. It's also important to leave enough space at the top to make it easier. This will save me a ton of money since I tend to leave food in the freezer and it gets freezer burn. So far I love it. I'll update my review after using it several more times.
UPDATE: 2 months later...... It worked well the last time I used it a couple of weeks ago. I got it out today to seal some meat, same as before, but now it will not vacuum out the air. I tried all the solutions in the Troubleshooting section of the product manual without success. I went to their website listed and it no longer exists. There is no phone number to be found anywhere. It looks like they may be out of business so I am returning it. I am downgrading the stars to one because I've only had it two months and used it only a couple of times. I give it one star because it worked well for that short time otherwise I'd give it zero stars for lack of any customer service.
AW : It works!
There are so many vacuum sealers on sale at Amazon with varying features and price points, making it very difficult for a first time buyer like me to find one that works as advertised. After a few weeks of research, I still couldn't decide on which one to buy. I went with Entrige because of the specs and consistently positive reviews. No, it's not the cheapest, and nor does it have the built-in cutter and compartment for the vacuum sealer rolls, two features I initially really desired. But according to the reviews, it seems to offer strong suction power and tight seal, which is important to sous vide, as well as costs less than $50, I decided to pull the trigger.
I have used the vacuum sealer several times since I received it about two weeks ago. So far so good...I vacuum sealed vegetables and didn't notice any sign of air in the bags after a few days. I also used it to vacuum sealed a few bags of protein for sous vide cooking. Sealing dry food (e.g., protein with dry rub) was very easy. Vacuum-sealed moist food like marinated meat was a bit tricky - I was able to seal the bags easily as long as I was careful enough to keep the moisture out of the area nearby the closure. I wasn't able to vacuum-seal the moist food, but the machine was able to suck some air out and seal the bags. According to the manual, one is supposed the freeze the moist food first before vacuum seal it, so I wasn't disappointed. After 2 hours of sous vide cooking, there was no water getting in the bags, which proves the machine does what it advertises!
The machine has nice design - it has stainless steel finish on the top and is not bulky. The clean-up is easy too. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

Smith : Appology for bad review. (Watch out for false reviews)
I just received my Entrige Food Sealer and need to apologize to them for my previous review.. I tried 8 times, and it sealed fine but did not suck any air out of the bag. I was pretty frustrated and wrote a scathing review. In shopping for another model, I read a review by someone who wasn't putting the bag in right. When I tried again, I realized I was putting the bag in too far and was not leaving the bag opening in the chamber area between the gaskets. Once I did this, it worked great. It helps to read and understand the instructions. I was also able to use bags other than those sent with the machine. I have not had time to check how well things do in the freezer but plan to keep this vacuum sealer for a fair trial.
AZ Scholar : Super easy to use and very efficient.
I am a great fan of vacuum sealing to preserve my frozen food. My old vacuum sealer finally wore out so I purchased the Entrige vacuum sealer uncertain of how well it would work since I was so used to my old one. I was pleasantly surprised. The technology has certainly improved in vacuum sealer‘s over the years. This one is much more automatic than my old one and to my surprise works much better. It has very good suction power and the sealer works to create a clean seal as long as you take a second and make sure there are no creases in the area that is to be fused. Would I recommend this sealer system? That is a resounding yes! For the price I don’t know that you could beat it.
catwop-puss : suction...really suck the air out...dry only must read. foodsaver v entirge
it seem to work well bags ...if it lasts 7yr then name brand is gone... doesnt do wet well. does dry great. so bought 1 of each... for most your needs the entirge the best, it has sensors the foodsaver doesnt have... and you can select gentile over the full compress and the vacuum stays on while sealing to keep it tighter foodsavers doesnt... foodsaver has better bags thicker bags... they also have off brand bags that are great...entrige bags are to thin. the entrige doesnt do wet as well but if you on a table it will do wet better... with a little thoughtful prep. less moving parts on the entrige... foodsaver has a more robust vacuum chamber more durable, but both motors probably last the same. egtrig is cheaper and you can buy cheap replacement foam if your ruin your vacuum chamber. 30-40$-160$+ cheaper then foodsaver. more functions. food saver charges shipping it use warrenty 30$. id say just get the entrige unless your buying for the wet bay that foodsaver has. my foodsaver came new from amazon with scuff marks on an undamaged box...
It's just a bit louder than a microwave when it's running.
wave : Awsome little machine
Patrick Newman : Won’t vacuum
Mine will not vacuum and it’s very frustrating as this is the reason I bought it. Now it’s too late to return.
Reader : Game Changer
I first ordered a cheaper brand than this one and immediately regretted it and returned it and then tried this one. Because I came from a crappy one with crappy instructions this one feels like a miracle! Soooo easy to use and the instruction manual is very thorough and detailed and gives great suggestions and makes everything so easy to do! It also taught me something amazing...that cooked meat when vacuum sealed can last 10-15 days in the fridge!!! ????????????. It came with this beautiful cloth and the suction tube for accessories and a small starter assortment of bags. It works fast and well and if something doesn’t hold its seal just read their manual and they’ll tell you why! Most likely user error (fold in seam, food particles blocking seam etc). It’s also an attractive appliance so you can leave it on your counter for easy use. I bought it for long term food storage but after reading their manual I see that I will be using it daily for fridge items! Worth every penny. Don’t bother with cheaper ones from China, you get what you pay for.
you can compare the product price from Costco, wayfair, bestbuy, lowes, target, homedepot, Walmart, ebay, amazon to find the best price for you
