Questions about Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige, Automatic Food Sealer for Food Savers w /Starter Kit, Dry Moist Food Modes, Easy to Clean, Led Indicator Lights, Compact Design, Silver(Stainless Steel)
Q:
This item can vacuum soup based food?
Answer: I use food prep containers like these https://smile.amazon.com/Freshware-Containers-Compartment-Stackable-Dishwasher/dp/B073TRVFZS/ref=sr_1_5 to first freeze what I want to store. When frozen, I remove the item from the container and then vacuum seal the frozen food. As these fit in the sealer bags, sometimes I freeze container too. Just the bottom part, not with the lid. No mess..if you're quick. LOL
Answer: A really handy way to vacuum seal soupy stuff is put it in a low wide container not bigger than sealer bags. Freeze, pop out, put the frozen chunk of frozen liquid into the vacuum bag and seal. No mess, works like a charm! Cheers!
Q:
Vacuum no longer sucks air on any setting any assistance with this issue would be appreciated
Answer: It is a little particular about where you put the mouth of the bag, especially if you are using a roll and the plastic has a curvature. The mouth needs to stay in the center of the vacuum chamber AFTER you close the lid. Sometimes it takes a second or third try.
Answer: Mine has done the same thing. I used once a few months back, today I went to use and it won't suck any air out. Disappointed in this product.
Answer: Same thing here. Worked fine the first day using it, second time out of the box it would vac half the air out if you were lucky, then seal the bag. Their customer service has been HORRIBLE to deal with.
Answer: If it were me, I would contact customer service. I have only used mine in a test and had no problems.
Q:
How do you return this machine? i've had for about a month and 1/2. used it 4 times. it died today. not worth the cost for 4 bag seals .
Answer: You can complain to Amazon if you want, but it is a no name bare bones ultra budget product with zero support. These are the kinds of things you buy for a quick fix and don't even bother crying about when they only work half a dozen times before hitting the garbage bin.
Answer: I wish i knew how also. I am dissatisfied with the sealer. doesn't suck all the air out of the bag before it seals it.
Answer: Not a good product. I tried to review to warn people but Amazon rejected my review because it talked about the “pay” to review efforts the seller makes. I am been scammed. This is not a 4.5 star product. Bout for $30 and they offered $30 credit for a good review and I know. Nothing good is free.
Answer: I had exactly the same problem. Returned it.
Q:
what is the largest width this model will seal?
Answer: The sealing strip is 11.5 inches wide.
Q:
I had a food saver sealer and quite a few rolls of sealer bag material left. smooth on one side and textured on the other. will work in this one?
Answer: Make sure you are using vacuum sealer bags with texture on one or both sides; the bags with no texture can only for seal, not for vacuum.
Q:
Is there any difference between the model e2902-ms in your store and the model e2900-ms in other stores?
Answer: Yes, our E2902-MS is a full stainless steel panel, and the E2902-MS is a new version of the E2900-MS.
Q:
Bought this and i cannot get it to work, help please! I followed the instructions, i can’t get stuff to vacuum seal, only seal. Help!
Answer: We did also and the first few times it was used it did vacuum seal; after about the third time it would only seal. I would not recommend this product to anyone....
Answer: it took me a couple trys too, you have to put the bag only half way in stop at the middle part then you have to press hard on the side closing mechanisum until you hear a snap on both sides then it works.
Answer: My husband and I both tried it and the only way we could get it to vacuum was to lean all or our body weight on it after we closed it and heard the clicks. We returned ours.
Answer: We couldn’t either at first, but realized you have to place the plastic in the front of the machine where the air will be sucked out and not past that point.
Q:
i just bought this vacuum sealer and it is not vacuuming. what can I do?
Answer: Return it and buy a food saver from Walmart. That’s what I did because my wasn’t vacuuming either.
Answer: I found that the 11 inch bags don't work . Try the 8 inch bags they seem to work fine.
Q:
I cant get it to vacuum seal.
Answer: Sent mine back and ordered the Icetek for the same price. Works much better.
Q:
Is this supposed to come with the accessory hose? The one I just purchased did not.
Answer: Yes, if says “with food sealer starter kit” mine had a short hose to attach to vacuum port on the Enterige machine. It can be used with Enterige vacuum sealed containers with special top on them. Also with minor alteration can be fitted to work with the Food Saver brand canning jar attachments. Amazon description says “1xvacuum sealer hose
Answer: The one I purchased did have a vacuum hose.
Answer: Yes it comes with hose. Very good machine
Answer: Mine did, but I'd advise sending it back and buying a better quality one. Mine quit vacuuming all the air after the first use. Customer service from them is terrible also. I will avoid this store and product with my life after this.
Answer: No, it doesn't..You'll have to buy the Jar sealer kit .

Answer: Ha! Thanks for asking, that’s why I came to the reviews. Why is there a baby blanket with my sealer?
Answer: Yes. It’s used on the stainless steel to shine it.
Answer: I wondered the same thing!! It's not listed on the box...I was so confused! I came here to find a link to email the seller and find out about it! So glad I wasn't the only one!! :)
Answer: Yes, not sure what for though
Q:
Is this supposed to have come with the canister? If not, where do I get it?
Answer: No it doesn't come with canister - think you can find them on amazon
Answer: I only received the tube for it. I thought you had to separately purchase that.
Answer: Mine did not
Q:
Is this machine suppose to automatically seal on moist mode
Answer: Yes it will seal
Answer: One of the buttons is for moist/dry modes
Q:
“Seller” what is the actual Warranty ?
Answer: It's a total piece of garbage. Don't waste your money. I used it and it 'vacuumed and sealed' very slowly. A week later all bags had come unsealed. Spend a little more and get more. It only has good ratings because they offer to send you free bags if you give them five stars. I sent it back.
Answer: One year warranty
Answer: 1yr. Let me add that the machine is amazing. It works as well as those selling for 100 or more. Great find
Q:
How does the wine sealer work?
Answer: Yes
Q:
What about the suction power? Is really good?
Answer: Have different mode suction
Answer: It works really well. I've used to to vacuum seal veggies. Awesome gadget to have.

Answer: Yes, I had no issues sealing frozen items.
Answer: Yes! I reorganized my whole freeze the 1st day I received it!! Gained SO much room!
Answer: I don't see why it couldn't
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes
Q:
How wide is the heal seal (on the bag) for this? I see that other machines have about 2-3mm
Answer: 3 mm
Q:
does this machine seal mylar bags? Can you use any brand of bags to seal?
Answer: It does not seal mylar bags. I use the ones they came with and I the FoodSaver brand bags also.
Answer: According to the instruction manual, it does.
Q:
Is there a reset button for the heating element? No longer seals after using it a few times. I followed instructions; waited time before each seal.
Answer: I would absolutely send it back. Cheapest way of course. It’s a paper weight now.
Q:
Can you use this with crackers?
Answer: Crackers would not work in any vacuum but you could seal the bag after expressing as much air as possible.
Answer: I would imagine so. You could skip the suction function so that they wouldn’t crack the crackers
Answer: Yes
Q:
What bags are recommended
Answer: Make sure you are using vacuum sealer bags with texture on one or both sides; the bags with no texture can only for seal, not for vacuum.
Answer: Hi! Any bags with grooves on the inside will do. I bought this one: Vacuum Sealer Rolls Bag, 6 Pack... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D8PKCWL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Answer: I have used just vacuum seal bags any will work.
Q:
Does this vacuum sealer make it air tight? I have a vacuum sealer that once "vacuumed sealed" you can still move the food around in the bag somewhat.
Answer: It for sure keeps things air tight! If you are doing meats, they will have a small amount of "wiggle room" because the meat expands once frozen.
Answer: It removes the air and makes it air tight. Food doesn't move around.
Answer: the same thing happens sometimes when the vacuume doesen't pull all the air from the baz.
Answer: yes it does
Q:
Is the packaging for this product discreet? I’m getting it as a gift.
Answer: It arrived in a larger Amazon box. Beware the "special offer" for free bags with a 5 star review is a bait and swap.
Answer: Mine came in a typical Amazon box
Q:
the machine has stopped working after 8 months. it's too late to return to amazon. how do I get the warranty?
Answer: Call the manufacturer
Q:
Will someone tell me specifically how to use the accessory feature (hose function)? which buttons, etc? I can't get it to work to seal jars. Thanks
Answer: I never used this before.
Q:
Can I return mine for testing if I have never seen the vacuum on it work?
Answer: You must put the sealer bag opening in the correct location of the vacuum sealer area. If put in too far, or not far enough, it doesn’t work. Also, must use textured bags for it to work properly. Don’t forget to LOCK the side locks before using, or it won’t work to seal. Hope this helps. Read instructions very carefully.
Q:
Does it only work with bags that have texture on both sides? I ordered it and now am using other bags with only texture on one side and it won’t work.
Q:
does this machine seal mylar bags?
Answer: No. This machine seals by melting
Answer: Yes it will seal mylar bags just the same way it seals other bags
Answer: I can’t say anything about Mylar but I tried regular zip lock bags. It sealed them but didn’t suck the air out
Q:
Does it have a hose for the jar sealer?
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes it does
Answer: yes it does.
Answer: Yes
Answer: YES IT DOES
Q:
Where can I buy containers that are compatible?
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: Tons of these are available on Amazon.
Q:
Which canisters fit the tube attachment that comes with this? Not all canisters have the same fitting. Entrige offers no help at all on this.
Answer: Don't buy it. It's horrible and useless. This is coming from an experienced vacuum sealer user. I made the mistake of purchasing this but rectified that mistake by sending it back for a refund.
Q:
Can you use any sealer bags with this - or is there a specific kind?
Answer: I used a generic kind, found on amazon, and worked just fine. Make sure they have a textured side to them (unlike a ziplock type bag)
Answer: I bought the first sealer bags that popped up in my search and they worked just as well as the ones that came with the sealer.
Answer: We have only used the bags it came with.
Answer: They all work I’m pretty sure
Q:
When I use the vac/seal button it will keep vacuuming forever and never seals? The seal function does work just by itself though.
Answer: I believe I made the same mistake and I suspect the end of your bag is not centered inside the vacuum ring/oval. It’s the area just past the heat seal strip. Make sure your bag opening doesn’t extend past that area.
Answer: Read the instructions and the picture associated with the unit. It took me a few times to figure it out, but it works great!
Answer: Mine was opposite. Seal worked and vacuum didn’t. Sent it back
Answer: Make sure the bag is positioned in between the 2 sealer bars. That happens occasionally to me when bag off a bit.
Answer: Sounds about right
Q:
Can you custom size each bag?
Answer: Yes you can. Bags that you customize come on a roll. You cut size you need seal the bottom. Fill it up then fill the top.
Q:
Energia 220v?
Q:
Will it work on fresh caught fish?
Answer: Yes, it has a dry and moist setting. It has sealed my chicken and beef flawlessly. Don't see why fish would be any different.
Answer: Yes it's great. I have used it for both already frozen and fresh fish!
Answer: It doesn't seem to work oin anything but yes, a better vacuum sealer will.
Answer: Dear customer,
Answer: I don’t see why not, there’s a wet and a dry button. I just love my food sealer!!
Answer: Don’t know why not just hit moist button and vac seal
Answer: Yes, just need to use the moist setting.
Q:
I received a business card with the sealer, saying, lifetime warranty, can this be verified? Entrige has not replied to my email!
Answer: We received one offering a gift card and haven’t received that either. Hopefully, a follow-up email will produce a positive result.
Q:
I press hard on both side of the lid but the lid never lock. I applied pressure by hand but it doesn't suck all air out. Is it a defective unit?
Answer: Mine does seem kinda tough to get the two tabs to lock. Try seeing if the lid locks while there arent any bags in the machine just to see if it locks, that what i did to see how hard to push. If it still doesnt lock then i would contact the seller
Answer: make sure that you only have the bag and not any of the contents in the machine. If it still does not lock, I would contact for some tech support.
Answer: The opening of the bag needs to sit inside the hole when closed, and as straight as possible.
Answer: Both sides should snap together if not then something must be wrong.
Q:
what coyntry is this product made in?
Answer: China
Q:
220v energía?

Answer: 30 cm

Q:
Where do i buy the compatible containers for the suction hose? i have searched amazon & can't find any that are entrige brand. please post link.
Answer: Hello, so sorry that our brand don't sell container. You can search for vacuum container. Please remember to buy containers that can be used for vacuum. Because our vacuum machine has the attached air sunction hose. It is recommended that when you buy a vacuum container, ask the buyer if there is a delivery tube. If there is, it is the best. At that time, you can combine the air sunction hose supplied with our vacuum machine and the air sunction hose delivered by the container.

Product reviews of Vacuum Sealer Machine by Entrige, Automatic Food Sealer for Food Savers w /Starter Kit, Dry Moist Food Modes, Easy to Clean, Led Indicator Lights, Compact Design, Silver(Stainless Steel)
April S. : Vacuum seal did NOT work
Instructions were easy but I was very disappointed. While the sealing button Worked fine, it did not vacuum seal. We couldn’t get the suction to work. We turned it off and back on, and even tried different bags thinking we had a hole in the bag but this just didn’t work for us. I was hoping to try something different than the Food Saver brand but I may just go back. Needless to say we returned this.
David Rysdam : It works great...when it works at all.
About 10% of the time, it just refuses to vacuum the bag. After messing with it a few times, I think it's just poor design.
The bags are "ribbed" so the air has channels to escape through when the lid is closed. But let's say you just sealed some bags already. You put the next bag in and close the lid. The still-hot heater strip warms the bag enough that the ribs collapse, making it impossible for the vacuum pump to remove the air. It just sits there, doing nothing.
You now have to not only wait for the unit to cool but also throw away the flattened bag and use another. Time-consuming, frustrating and a waste of plastic.
C. Evans : Quality Little Machine
General: A friend gave me access to his "Silver Queen" cornfield and my blueberries and blackberries produced more than I could eat, so after careful research, I bought this item. I've never used one before. I purchased two different sizes of rolled material to use.
PRO: (1) SIMPLE: I imagine all these items are simple to work but as a first-time user, I found it easy and straightforward. (2) QUALITY: I have sealed nearly 20 bags of corn, 6 bags of blackberries, and 6 bags of blueberries. I notice no difference in the operation at all. Opens, closes, seals just like new.
CON: (can't think of any)
Conclusion: I haven't used the "wine vacuum" thing. Nor have I tried softer vacuuming (as it allows for) but I imagine it will do fine. The next batch of banana bread and zucchini bread I make will be frozen. I keep it on a shelf under the counter and have used it a few times for leftovers. Be aware any moisture in the item(s) you're sealing will be sucked to the opening and prevent a seal from happening--but this is the case for any of them I suspect. My friend has a different one and he has the same concern. So, this will not cause a lower rating.
I highly recommend this product.
I use Amazon reviews extensively to make decisions on my purchases. It follows that I should honestly review items that I have liked (or not liked) so as to benefit other Amazon customers (as I would have them do for me).
If you found this review helpful, please take time to give me a “check mark”. LLBB
Esther : Read directions on how to take air out
The directions are good and work well. Just make sure you add the extra 2 1/2 inches over the size of what your sealing so it will fit into the machine properly. It would have been nice if there was room in the machine for a roll of plastic. Other than that , it['s a good buy. As for freshness, seals well, but haven't opened anything yet to answer that question..
J. Fielek : A nice vacuum sealer at a good price.
TL;DR — great value, works well with a couple small idiosyncrasies that are just part of the learning curve.
I’d been looking for a vacuum sealer for a while and at this price point it was worth snagging.
The sealer came with a few larger bags and a small roll of 8” bags. The roll requires that you cut it to length, seal one end, put in whatever you’re preserving, and then run the vacuum sealing cycle. It’s simpler than it sounds. It’s extremely simple to operate, but may take a few tries to get a feel for how much bag you’ll need.
Usage is straightforward. If you’re using a roll, you first cut it to fit the item to be stored. Next, place one end of the bag over the sealing bar, close the cover, and press the “seal” button.
After that, you load the bag, and place the open end into the vacuum chamber (it will lay across the sealer as well), close the cover, and press “vacuum and seal”. It’ll suck the air out and then seal the bag after the air has been sucked out.
Two minor issues :
The bag needs to have an extra inch or so to ensure it reaches the vacuum chamber. If it’s too short the vacuum can’t suck the air out of the bag and it’ll never seal. The same holds true if the bag isn’t placed far enough over the edge of the vacuum chamber.
When sealing or vacuum sealing, the cover must be completely closed. Both latches (one on either side) must click closed, or the vacuum can’t do its job, and the sealer won’t have full contact across the bag.
I also purchased a couple rolls of 8” bags from another manufacturer and they work perfectly. You need a textured bag for the vacuum to work; smooth bags won’t let the vacuum suck out the air.
don : Don't waste your money
You get what you pay for. I thought we'd try this machine because it had 4.8 stars and a lot of positive reviews. We must have gotten a lemon. I had 9 frozen steaks to seal. Totally frozen, zero moisture. I had to reseal 4 of them. When I was done resealing those, 2 more bags had air in them. I don't mean just a little air, they had lost all the sealed suction. This piece of junk is going back tomorrow.
Weho Shopper : Light but Sturdy and Easy to Use
I got this Entrige Vacuum Sealer as a replacement for a 20-year-old Foodsaver. When I first got it, I thought the Entrige was too light to be any good (the Foodsaver was quite heavy) and considered returning it because it felt so cheap. But after using it for several months, I can say it performs better than the Foodsaver I had. The lightness is an advantage because it's easier to move around, so I can get it out and put it away for small jobs I wouldn't have bothered with before. And, the lid clamps down for sealing, so I don't have to hold down the sides as with the old one. I can actually prepare the next bag while one bag is vacuum-packing. What I've also found is that it isn't nearly as fussy as the Food saver about vacuuming and sealing. On the Foodsaver, the bag wouldn't seal if there was a droplet of water or grain of food anywhere near the vacuuming/sealing line. The Entrige doesn't seem to care whether there's a bit of water of a stray smear of food and plows right through, meaning that I save time by not having to wipe the opening of each bag after I put the food in. Easy to use, light, and much less expensive than it's heavier competition. Recommended.
David Rysdam : It works great...when it works at all.

Amazon Customer : Easy to use and works well.
I had been wanting a vacuum sealer for a long time and finally pulled the plug. As soon as I got this one I took several items that I had in my freezer in ziplock bags and vacuum sealed them. I sealed leftover pizza, sliced ham, and several bags of vegetables. It shrunk all the bags real tight just like packages you'd get from the store.
The main thing I wanted to seal was soup. I made a large pot of beef vegetable soup and froze individual servings in plastic bowls and once frozen, I took them out and vacuum sealed all of them. That worked much better than what I used to do, which was to stick a straw in the bags and suck out the air.
DRunner : GREAT VACUUM SEALER FOR THE PRICE
This is our first foray into the world of food vacuum sealers and we're really happy with our purchase. So far we've used it to seal fresh fish from the market, steaks, chicken breasts and a fresh vegetables from our garden (that we first blanched before freezing). Like any device, using it and getting to know its features is important. We were also pleased to see that it works well with generic brand bags that we also bought from Amazon. Bottom line: If you're looking for a good quality vacuum sealer at a price well below the competition, give this one a go.

JLP : Best Vacuum Sealer
This machine performs as advertised. I have been a customer of the FoddSaver brand of vacuum sealer since they first came out. I have had seven of them. My complaint is that last for a year and a half or two years, then they fail to create a vacuum. I use these machines a lot as I buy in bulk, and sometimes package up 100 to 150 pounds of meat. I decided after last FoodSaver failed halfway through 60 pounds of pork, it would be my last one. I ordered this machine and it arrived on time as promised. It has done exactly as it was advertised. I am going to order an additional machine to take with me when I travel as I take advantage of sales, and need to seal and freeze as I buy.
Barb M. : Great features at a good price!
I bought this sealer for it's features--loved the dry/moist and the regular vacuum/gentle vacuum. settings. It was a good price. I'm sure it's a great machine as it had many excellent reviews but unfortunately I just got a defective one and had to return it. Right out of the box, it would vacuum like a champ but wouldn't go to the seal part of the cycle. It was a brand new one too, no problem there. There was a food sealer on sale locally that I found in the meantime, so I replaced it at the store but I wouldn't have been afraid to get an exchange. That's just my luck! I needed it right away for a big purchase of meat I had made to put in the freezer so I couldn't wait for the replacement.
I only took a star off due to the disappointment and the time/trouble to run it to our UPS store to return it as it's in the next town from ours.
Amazon Customer : Why Did I wait so Long?
I have had a hard time finding freezer paper during the pandemic and was trying to figure what I was going to do to freeze meat in my freezer. Then one day I was browsing on Amazon and saw the Entrige Vacuum Sealer for under $50 that promised to do a better job of freezing my meats and vegetables than freezer paper and so I thought it was time to try one. As I had never heard of Entrige I did a little research into other brands including Foodsaver before buying this sealer but pretty much everybody that had bought one loved it. Add me to the list. This machine is amazing and I can't imagine finding a better value than this. I've vacuum sealed steaks, brunswick stew, cheese. luncheon meats and even done some dried beans in mason jars with the FoodSaver Mason Lid Jar sealer attachment and they have all come out perfect. My only regret is not having one of these years ago.
JudyD : Bag doesn't fully seal across top
Brand new out of the box today. I tried to seal 2 c chopped rhubarb for the freezer. The unit pulled a good vacuum and the 'seal' light came on as expected. However, as soon as I opened the unit I could see and hear air sucking back into the bag. I tried 4 times. I trimmed the supplied bag down to get to fresh plastic, wiped it with a paper towel, tried a new bag. Nothing. On the 5th attempt, after pressing the 'vac seal' button and watching the vacuum, I pressed the 'seal' button manually and the bag finally sealed. I had a Food Saver that lasted 15+ yrs, and an off-brand that lasted 10+ yrs. This one is going back tomorrow. No, I do NOT recommend. The box includes a card for a $30 Amazon gift card for a 5-star review. I think this is why there are so many 5 star reviews.
Will-Review4U : save food and money - get their rolls!
We purchased this food save and another set of bags from entrige as a set so we would not run out of bags after the deer processing season. What makes this food saver better than a lot of the other ones at this price range is you get to choose a lot of the settings on your own. For example if you are just stealing up a bag of chips that you have a ready opens you set it to the first setting which is not as strong and you can easily rip it open and keep sealing it again after each use. It was really easy to use without even reading the instructions and has a great seal on it. I think it is perfect for our hunting and preserving family and freeze to give out during the winter to friends and family. We have purchased chicken in bigger package and this food saver is a great way to divy up into dinner portions and keep frozen until needed. Construction and button placement is well thought out, the features are exceptional considering the price point, and it is convenient and easy to use.
David Ingland : bought protection plan and have spent hrs. trying to get through because it does not work!
Ordered this product end of October for a Christmas gift for adult daughter living out of my state. Gave to her New Year's weekend. She used it 3 times and the vacuum just stopped working! I have tried to call, email, and contact AMAZON with no replies or help for any of them. I bought the Asurion 4 yr. protection plan so I called on that because I got no reply from the claim filed........on hold on phone for 30 mins with no answer. I PAID $33.99 + Tx. + $6.99 for a useless protection plan! PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY TO MY AMAZON ACCOUNT AND I WILL THROW IT OUT.......TOTAL $43.00
Sara S : Awesome Vacuum Sealer!
I have wanted a vacuum sealer for so long, but kept putting it off. I was so excited to get this vacuum sealer! I have now vacuum sealed everything that I have in the freezer. It is so easy to use. It really does a good job of vacuuming out the air. It seals the bags well. It takes a little bit of time to figure out the right size to cut on the roll, and if it isn't working right, it's probably that you have too much bag, or didn't set it in there right. When it is all done right, it works every time. So, have patience with yourself. The machine is awesome! I have not used the canister tube yet, so I can't say anything about that. This is a great machine at a great price. I wish I had ordered it sooner. I also ordered some of the bulk rolls and they work great in it too. I suggest ordering some rolls when you order the machine because you're gonna want to vacuum seal everything.
Olivia's Baka : A machine that really works well
I used it for the first time today and I was delighted with the results. Mind you, I messed up the first bag as I didn't insert it correctly. Unfortunately the instructions are a bit loose on that aspect. Once I figured out what to do, it really went very smoothly and worked out a treat. I was tired of my meats getting freezer burn from being wrapped in plain plastic wrap and plastic bags and I am hoping that this will stop that freezer burn. Once you get the hang of it, it works very quickly and I was able to put all my chicken pieces into vacuum bags without any problem. The 8" x 12" bags seems to be the perfect size for most of my requirements. I haven't had a chance to try out the roll yet but I'm sure it will work just as well. It is quick, easy, and performs very well. Time will tell how well it lasts. I love it so far.
Nicholas C. : Scam alert. Bad product and "they" try to get you to change your review
I purchased this item last Fall 2020. It worked for about 3 months then died. I thought maybe I used it too much (2x per week) and burned out the motor. I ordered another one and that one stopped working too. I then left a bad review (as I should to warm other potential buyers) and "they" contacted me via email stating they would give me $50 back if I removed the review. I took them up on their offer (don't ever do that) and they never refunded me my money. They also claim to have switched manufactures for this product. They did not. Same as last year with no change at all. This is a total scam. Avoid.
Lumpy Hulk : Take your time and make sure the sealing edge of the bag is clean and dry.
I like everything about this product. It is my first vacuum sealer to own. It does everything it says it will do. I’m sure this will be repetitive for some, but you can save time and MONEY by buying bulk meat. This is chicken breast in the pic. I tenderize it and season it as soon as I get it home. It saves a lot of time when I’m ready to grill. I’m sure there are other products on both sides of the spectrum that are less effective or simply a dream to use, but the Entrige really sucks and seals well. I had gotten a card with this product to give it a review. I wanted to wait until I used the product to give it an honest review, but I waited too long and now that offer isn’t redeemable any longer. That should tell you that my review is honest and SINCERE! Thank you for reading.
SaMimi : DO NOT BUY!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODCUT! IT IS JUNK! I wanted to like this, but it's a poor piece of equipment that does not work properly. The bags, and I have tried differnt brands, never keep their seal. I have had a vacuum sealer before that was good until it was not. This one just always sucks. And not even the way it's supposed to.
don : Don't waste your money
You get what you pay for. I thought we'd try this machine because it had 4.8 stars and a lot of positive reviews. We must have gotten a lemon. I had 9 frozen steaks to seal. Totally frozen, zero moisture. I had to reseal 4 of them. When I was done resealing those, 2 more bags had air in them. I don't mean just a little air, they had lost all the sealed suction. This piece of junk is going back tomorrow.
Faith : Loose vacuum seal
Disappointed. The vacuum sucks air very slowly from the bags. So far, about 2 or 3 of every 5 items I seal and freeze wind up sealed enough to prevent freezer burn. The rest experience crystals in the bag the first night they stay in the freezer. I usually have to try and vacuum more than once. Sometimes I’ll have to start over. The air does not get sucked away from the corners or crevices of the meat, and the seal seems loose in general around the food. I really hoped for better results based on my careful research of reviews. I don’t buy things without researching and this seemed like a good buy.
I do use the roll of bags that came with the vacuum so I know that incompatible bags isn’t the issue. It just seems that the item isn’t strong enough to suck all the air from the bag. I’ll use it but am not thrilled at all. I’m sad the return window has passed.
JohnnieGirrrl : Burn Hazard
Edited Review - Seller has sent 4 e-mails asking me to remove this review or change it to 5 stars in exchange for $30.00 - $40.00. They state they are using a different manufacturer now...however, my review relates to a design issue. If you decide to purchase, be sure there is a "nub" or a "tab" added to the device in order to lift the cover to avoid burning yourself. Unsure what they'll do (or claim to do) to fix the problem of loose and/or incomplete vacuum sealing.
I have now updated the rating from 2 stars to 1 star because I don't like the idea of "buying" a good review, especially when the item is a burn hazard.
Original Review - Doesn't remove all the air and there's no handle or "nub" to lift the cover after sealing. I've burnt myself once trying to get the thing open. Now I just struggle with it and very cautiously yet clumsily open the cover after sealing in order to avoid burning myself.

Jason : Great vacuum sealer!
This is my first vacuum sealer purchase for myself, but I have plenty of experience using my moms Food Saver brand sealer. A newer, comparable product from the Food Saver brand (the space saving model) has five differences from this Entrige brand. 1. This vacuum sealer only requires weight to close the top vs. a large switch that has the “hand squeeze to close” button on the Food Saver brand. 2. This vacuum sealer is 2 pounds lighter. 3. While the length of this vacuum is about 2 inches longer, it is both shorter and less wide. 4. This model has both a “moist” setting for non-dry foods, and a “gentle setting for softer foods like breads and cakes that you don’t want smushed flat. The Food Saver brand only has one setting. (But honestly, who has cake sitting around long enough for the need to store it??? : )) 5. The most obvious difference is the price tag. At just half the cost of the Food Saver brand it does just as much, if not more work!
Highly recommend this product for anyone to try out!
Pictured is the sealer and part of our garden haul this year, regular sized scissors for scale. : )
Kindle Customer : Compact, quieter than most other sealers, works great
This is the first vacuum sealer I have owned and I purchased one at the urging of my sister who is an avid vacuum sealer user. She has one of those big clunky sealers that are LOUD but do the job. It is her 3rd vacuum sealer as she burned out the other two by not letting the unit cool off between sealing her bags. She gave me hints on how to get a good seal etc. and helped me figure out why the unit wasn't sealing well.
We discovered that in order to allow the cover to "click" into place you might have to PUSH DOWN ON ONE CORNER JUST UNTIL IT CLICKS AND THEN PUSH DOWN ON THE OPPOSITE CORNER. When we used both hands at the same time it would not click shut. If you don't click it shut it won't vacuum seal the bags. I suspect some of the reviews that say the sealer did not work were due to this little quirk in the sealer's design.
My sister was impressed with the tight seal and with how quiet it runs compared to hers. I like the different features and the rather wide heat seal at the top. She also mentioned that the seal was wider than the one on her sealer that cost closer to $200. You can choose a normal setting or a gentle setting and also whether the item inside is wet or dry. It does matter that you indicate wet or dry. Believe me. Even if you choose the wet setting be sure to watch carefully as you seal. If the liquid inside starts going towards the top of the bag, press the stop button or you will have liquid spilling into your sealer. Not only that but a wet bag won't seal properly so keep clean paper towels handy in case the sealer is faster than your stop button finger.
I failed to notice the insurance plan I could have purchased at the time and had to contact customer service and pay $8.99 for 4 years of coverage instead of $6.99 for 4 years had I added insurance to my cart at the time of purchase. So if you want to insurance plan, which I recommend, remember to add it on when you make your purchase.
The unit comes with a few pre-made bags, a roll of seal your own bag plastic, and a tube for vacuum sealing jars and containers.
If you are a vacuum sealer newbie I recommend this unit for it's simplicity, low cost, great suction capacity, small size, and lower noise level compared to other sealers. Just remember to add the insurance with your purchase and to push down on the lid one side at a time until the lid clicks into place before pressing the vacuum seal button.
Trip : Before buying a GERYON or FoodSaver you should Look at this one by Entrige
Ok, did a lot of research before buying this product. I have a FoodSaver that died and was a complete pain to use and clean. In looking for a new one I wanted to find a product that just worked. I found it.
Pros: - The sealer and bag prep just works: lock, push the button and sealed. My food saver was hit and miss here. - The Vacuum is strong, works great, no issues. - Buttons are very clearly marked. - Delivered to my door, opened box and was sealing within minutes. - Very easy to clean and store. Again, my FoodSaver always felt dirty. This is easier to clean.
Cons: - If you cut the bag too small (like half width on the roll), the vacuum seal never stops. On my FoodSaver you could hit a button to stop the process at the current vacuum and seal. But it got me there. This is really me wanting to use smaller bag width. Seems like a waste but whatever. - The food saver had a built in cutter for bags. Meh. Not a big deal, keep scissors close by.
That's really it. Love this device. Can't go wrong for the money if you just want something for simple sealing.
Now, as I mentioned, comparing this to the GERYON. Take a close look. This unit costs $45 and the GERYON costs $69. That seems to be the only difference between the two. The specs are the same, the buttons are labeled the same, even the marketing literature is along the same lines (Check out the graphic for water and washing, looks pretty similar, no?). All differences appear to be cosmetic. Which leads me to believe these are sourced from the same factory (a hunch).
I think I made the right choice for my uses and saved some money in the long run.
Tracy Shea : Absolutely worthless.
Worthless. No suction at all. Waste of money. Hasnt sealed a bag yet. Can't even suck the air out. Don't waste your money.
SmithHaus : Perfect compact model
We got this vacuum sealer machine for our RV, made by entrige this automatic food sealer for food w/starter kit, is perfect for all of your types of food, dry and moist food modes, and frankly very easy to use. It is also very easy to clean with its led indicator lights, compact design, silver (stainless steel) compact design is key as it is in our RV. We actually have a couple these one at the house and the cabin but wanted one for the RV as we like to vacuum seal everything. Like I said this one is the right size asn super versatility & convenient for your i kitchen or RV like we use it. It is simple when food is protected from air and freezer burn it last for a lot longer and is fresher.
This one is super easy to use and works will all bags that you can even buy at like a Walmart., we found vacuumed sealer bags at the Sams club in rocky point Mexico.
SN29 : Perfect for small kitchen
I just recently decided to replace my old FoodSaver vacuum sealer. It was several years old and was a hand me down. It was also the biggest pain to use, and huge, so I set out to find a vacuum sealer that was smaller, no frills and wasn't going to set me back $100.
At first glance, I was worried about this one, since, unlike a lot of people, I only read the bad reviews first and then move onto the good reviews if the bad doesn't completely turn me off. The bad reviews all follow the same pattern, it dies early in it's life, but the price was right and the good reviews also followed the same pattern, it works great. So I am taking the chance.
Right now, this sealer works great for me. Unlike my old one, I can keep this on hand stored in a cabinet and pull it out whenever I need it. I have taken to sealing tons of things I normally wouldn't have bothered with before. I've probably used this about 50 times since I got it with no problems.
Now, let's talk about wet items. Honestly, reading the bad reviews, I didn't even realize people just throw wet meat into the bags and seal them that way. I have always frozen most of my meat partially before vacuum sealing, especially steaks and chicken since I like to be able to open the bag and remove/reseal if I don't want to use the entire package. Meat also defrosts faster when it's not all clumped together. But I do package stuff like ground beef and bacon without freezing first, and I had no issues at all even when ground beef juice and bacon juice got up to the sealer. Only issue I had was with turkey lunch meat that was super wet, and that was more of a would it seal sorta experiment. Lunch meat, if I was sealing it for real, would get frozen into batches first, so it's a moot point for me.
The seal itself is very good. My old sealer had the thinnest seal strip that would sometimes fail. This one is a nice thick seal strip that has not failed yet.
Overall, I think that this sealer is a winner. We will see a few months from now if it stays a winner. It's price doesn't make me overly concerned about it's long term durability, but I would be pretty disappointed if it dies on me in a month or two. With this one, I will revisit this review in 6 months to see where we stand!

Tyler Morgan : Seals food well at a fantastic price point!
I purchased this vacuum sealer and have used it for approximately one month. I wanted to run it through the ringer before leaving a review and I have to say, it held up to everything I have thrown at it. Wet food, dry food, delicate food, sharp bones in hard food. I have had no issues! I recently started making my own sausages and when I brought some over to a friend (who owns a butcher shop) he marveled at the quality of the packaging and mentioned how he has had many problems in the past with other vacuum sealers busting the sausage castings. I directed him towards this product and he has since, purchased it and shares my upmost appreciation for it's quality. If you are on the fence about purchasing, take Shia Lebouf's advice and "JUST DO IT". No more frostbitten food from the archimedes method of displacing the air in a ziplock bag by dunking it in a sink full of water. Just Frozen food, easily thawed, with no hassle! Thank you for taking the time to read this review! Hopefully you purchase this product and share in my enthusiasm!
AW : It works!
There are so many vacuum sealers on sale at Amazon with varying features and price points, making it very difficult for a first time buyer like me to find one that works as advertised. After a few weeks of research, I still couldn't decide on which one to buy. I went with Entrige because of the specs and consistently positive reviews. No, it's not the cheapest, and nor does it have the built-in cutter and compartment for the vacuum sealer rolls, two features I initially really desired. But according to the reviews, it seems to offer strong suction power and tight seal, which is important to sous vide, as well as costs less than $50, I decided to pull the trigger.
I have used the vacuum sealer several times since I received it about two weeks ago. So far so good...I vacuum sealed vegetables and didn't notice any sign of air in the bags after a few days. I also used it to vacuum sealed a few bags of protein for sous vide cooking. Sealing dry food (e.g., protein with dry rub) was very easy. Vacuum-sealed moist food like marinated meat was a bit tricky - I was able to seal the bags easily as long as I was careful enough to keep the moisture out of the area nearby the closure. I wasn't able to vacuum-seal the moist food, but the machine was able to suck some air out and seal the bags. According to the manual, one is supposed the freeze the moist food first before vacuum seal it, so I wasn't disappointed. After 2 hours of sous vide cooking, there was no water getting in the bags, which proves the machine does what it advertises!
The machine has nice design - it has stainless steel finish on the top and is not bulky. The clean-up is easy too. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.
Doc : Easy to use, handles many sizes of bags
I am able to use this product every week now that the garden is in full harvest mode. I have vacuum sealed beets, onions, peppers, cilantro, and meat from the smoker. It has a moist food setting which helps to minimize the movement of liquid into the sealer, but you still need to watch it carefully. It is easy to press the "Seal" button to immediately start sealing if the liquid rises in the bag during the suction process. I have used large bags for meat and small bags for individual portions of scallions and herbs. It is great for those of us who buy produce in bulk, because you can cut and store the extra in your freezer for future use.
genabil : Deceptive ratings
I purchase mainly based on star ratings from others. When I received this item I found a small card which said if I would give them a 5 star rating they would give me a $30.00 gift card to Amazon. In essence, making the unit a $30.00 item plus invalidating all the 5 star ratings I saw. I returned this item because of the noise, suction seemed weak and deceptive advertising.
izzy : SO DISAPPOINTED - short life span
i am soooooo disappointed. i was LOVING this product for the 3ish months it worked (bought it in april 2020). now, doesnt seal anything “moist” (think raw chicken or anything with juices). i have taken meticulous care of it. i wipe it down after every use; i store it in the box it came in; i wait 40+ seconds between seals as it directs. i really wish i could get my money back.
Lumpy Hulk : Take your time and make sure the sealing edge of the bag is clean and dry.

AZ Scholar : Super easy to use and very efficient.
I am a great fan of vacuum sealing to preserve my frozen food. My old vacuum sealer finally wore out so I purchased the Entrige vacuum sealer uncertain of how well it would work since I was so used to my old one. I was pleasantly surprised. The technology has certainly improved in vacuum sealer‘s over the years. This one is much more automatic than my old one and to my surprise works much better. It has very good suction power and the sealer works to create a clean seal as long as you take a second and make sure there are no creases in the area that is to be fused. Would I recommend this sealer system? That is a resounding yes! For the price I don’t know that you could beat it.
Kevin P : *updated* Died on the first day
**EDIT** Original review below. I received my replacement unit and it works great! The suction is much higher than the first one and has not given me any problems. I have updated from 1 star to 4.
I received this yesterday. I had a good 30 pounds of meat I wanted to seal. I sealed about 10 packages before the Seal LED went out. It still worked but the LED was dead. After another 5 bags the Seal and Vacuum button quit working. If I power cycled it worked sometimes. I packed it up and asked for a replacement. It worked good up until it.. broke. I will give it another shot and will update my review according. ***EDIT** I started the replacement process on Sat. It is now Thursday and the tracking has been saying delivered by 10PM everyday since Tuesday. When I bought this I recieved the unit in 2 day. They have already picked up the damaged unit why is it taking so long for my replacement to arrive and why is the tracking obscure? I bought 30 pounds of meat last Friday and had to ziplock it all up ****
JLP : Best Vacuum Sealer
It is great for those of us who buy produce in bulk, because you can cut and store the extra in your freezer for future use.
you can compare the product price from Costco, wayfair, bestbuy, lowes, target, homedepot, Walmart, ebay, amazon to find the best price for you
