Answer: 21"-perfect size to carry in my kayak. I have had mine for several years now and holding up well. Have netted 30+ inch redfish with it, tail hanging over obviously, but still able to manage it. I drilled a hole in the handle end and put a parachute cord loop to keep it secure as things tend to fall out of kayaks from time-to-time. Was kind of hard to thread through but worked out quite well.

Answer: Do well? It will do the job, but it’s definitely not the same size as you might see them use on TV to land musky. You’ll definitely have get them in head first.

Answer: Works great, just collapse the handle before lifting out of the water to the boat. The further the extension the less weight it can lift straight up. It's easy though once the fish is netted just slide it closed and lift.

Got this net to replace my current "hook resistant" rubberized nylon net. 100% glad I did. The basket is a bit larger than most and the handle is a bit longer than my last one but it's nothing I can't live with. I was always cutting my lures/hooks out of my old net but not so with this one. Have landed some nice bass and catfish without any problems, the net is strong and the ability to float is a plus...hehe don't ask how I know.

I like the net well-enough, but it's a bit larger than I expected for a "small" landing net. The thickness of the handle and the fairly large red floatation device built into it are bulkier than I was hoping for. I bought this for use on my kayak and found that the handle just barely fit into the built-in rod holders or the ones attached to my milk crate. If I had it to do over, I'd probably buy a net that had a telescoping handle, which would allow for a lower profile and better stowability. With that said, the net performed well, except when that monster speckled trout flipped out and threw my hook when I was trying to land it (but that was my fault). Overall, decent net... just be aware that "small" is a relative term.

The landing net looks sturdy at first. However, I went fishing last weekend and landed several 5 - 10 lbs fish.
Then, I noticed the handle came loose. Closer inspection shows the plastic threaded part where the handle screws into split apart. This net looks good but is not durable.
I will not ship it back for a refund/exchange. Instead, I will just use zip ties or clamps to close up the plastic part that split at the seam.

We have chickens, and each year we get peeps. Each year we wind up with extra roosters, and birds that like to try their hand at running free. Each year we chase many birds to keep them safe from predators.

This net----FABULOUS for catching the largest and canniest of the roosters and run away hens that make a bid for freedom. The net itself is well made and untangles easily from vegetation AND feathers. The handle is strong and easy to maneuver.
I count this as a great investment. Next fishing trip---we will give it a try on the water. :)

After trying other nets with so called hook resistant materials and having to cut small holes in them every time i landed a fish i got this one. The clesr rubber material and larger holes make this net a pleasure to use even with crankbaits. The hoop and basket is a bit larger than my other (medium) net but i'll take it. I use this net in my kayak all the time and even wuth the larger size i'll make this work.
