Can you buy the switchback bag for this belt

Answer: I actually did buy the bag to put on this belt .You can not get shoulder strap from fishpond to work there are no attachment points.I put a pair of suspenders on mine to help hold up .I usually where this when I dont feel like carrying a bunch of stuff it works great!

Does anyone think this will hold up to saltwater as a surf fishing belt?

Answer: I don’t fish salt water but this belt is the most durable belt you will ever own. Just buy it.

Answer: It's a well made sturdy belt. Personally, and while I don't use mine in salt water applications. I would recommend contacting Fishpond for a more accurate response.

Does the rail system is sew down to the belt? Is it possible to attach handypak insta-net to the belt, which has only two holes in the pouch?

Answer: The rail system is stitched to the belt in the middle of the back on both sides. From front to back you can slide attachments on both sides.

What waist sizes does this fit?

Answer: One size fits all. Adjustable. My size is 33 plus cold weather clothing. My guess is waistline 30” to 40”.

Answer: Hello,

Answer: The inner part of the belt that goes around your waist is 3 and 1/2 inches. The outer part of the belt that has slanted slits or slots that you see under the orange loops is 2 inches. Given your question I'm not sure the following applies but I'll provide it anyway. What I've found using the wading belt with a wading staff, water bottle and net attached the belt will tend to slip down requiring a tighter adjustment once in awhile. Note that I'm a little overweight but not much. If I were to do it again I would by the Fishpond wading belt with the shoulder strap attached. It costs more but provides more. Good luck.

Answer: This belt does not fit through the belt loops on Simms wader models. It is designed to be used on the outside of waders.

This wading belt works great and does a wonderful job holding my Fishpond Nomad Emerger River Armor net. The funneled net holder allows the net be stored and retrieved easily, but still manages to securely hold the net without any wiggle when moving around.

However, the sizing runs rather large, as I have it strapped nearly all the way down with a 31" waist. I'd advise you to look for a different wading belt if you have a waist size of less than 30".

I absolutely love this belt with one minor flaw. I had to tighten it to fit my waist and the strap holders do not hold the straps. I hate dangling straps.
