Can the weight lock function be turned off?

Answer: I haven't found a way to turn it off.

will be this scale good for measure the trigger pull weight of an air rifle?

Is this item water proof or water resistant?

Answer: No. Mine got wet and within 1 month the measuring tape is rusted as well as the battery connections. Once dry the display still works but I have not tested it since.

Can't get it to beep and lock. I lift a propane cylinder of about 35 lbs and wait, but no beep and. no measurement! It is turned on and set to lbs.

My horse is on a diet where she needs a specific amount of hay, or she gets way too fat. I hung this scale in the hay barn and it works great to weigh hay in hay nets. The auto-off switch is really handy to save battery power. The "tare" (re-zero) function is a good feature, but I have noticed that the button needs to be pressed down longer as the battery life goes down. Uses 1 AA battery. Have been using it for about a month now and have not needed to change the battery yet. For the price, it is an excellent value!

Item worked pretty well for about a month and the screen just stopped working.

The scale is bright and super easy to read. It is easy to zero and get your reading quickly because of the hold feature where it keeps the numbers displayed when it reads the weight. Only reason why it’s 4 stars and not 5 is because the little sucker is kinda heavy, and it’s definitely adding some weight to my chest pack (but not stopping me from using it).

this is a great scale, the ONLY bad thing about it is that occasionally it is not accurate, but do not worry it only changes the weight rarely and when it does it is only by like one filth of a pound, i recommend you do not use it if you are doing a competition, but if you want to know how much a fish weighs, this is great, and it is easy to use and even your kids can use it! i recommend that you buy it.

I’ve been using this to weigh expended brass cartridges for work and I like it so far. I’m not too concerned about pinpoint accuracy but I did test this with 10, 20, and 45lbs weights and all the readings came within .03lbs which was honestly surprising.
•I’ve weighed items up to 80lbs and the scale handles it well. The hardware seems sturdy and durable enough for the 110lbs it’s rated for.
•The hold feature is convenient for what I’m using it for, but if you want to add weight to a hanging load it would not be ideal as you would have to drop the load and reset the scale for every addition you make.
•I have no use for the tape measure but it’s there. You can pull it out and it auto retracts when you let go.

I find this to be a nice handy fishing scale that is not too big. Buttons are well place although I do wish they were slightly bigger and raised a bit more for the touch. The product is made in China, and as such I consider the price a little high for a Chinese product. Hence only four stars.

Used just a few times before the screen stopped displaying any readout. Put in fresh batteries and the screen only lights up blue without any numbers being displayed. This thing is junk, look elsewhere.

Rusty_Toilet : This scale eats batteries

Purchased in late May 2020. It’s been used only three times since. Tried using it again yesterday and scale was dead. Replaced batteries and it works again. Batteries were brand new when I first got the scale. This is disappointing.

Another issue is the how fast the scale goes to sleep. I tried to weigh a fish by trying to hook it under the gills. The scale goes to sleep within 15-20 seconds of turning on. This is a pain to deal with. I don’t recommend this scale.

This has been a great investment when it comes to humbling your bias guesstimates haha. I had the opportunity to weigh some fish with it and compare the readings with another scale and it matched perfectly. Those 5lbers are now officially 4.25lbs haha
