Can the weight lock function be turned off?

Answer: I haven't found a way to turn it off.

will be this scale good for measure the trigger pull weight of an air rifle?

Is this item water proof or water resistant?

Answer: No. Mine got wet and within 1 month the measuring tape is rusted as well as the battery connections. Once dry the display still works but I have not tested it since.

Can't get it to beep and lock. I lift a propane cylinder of about 35 lbs and wait, but no beep and. no measurement! It is turned on and set to lbs.

not accurate no matter how many times you try to have it set right. Weight a fish 4 times and it'll be anywhere between 4 lbs and 18 lbs when the fish is say 8 lbs

The scale reads out numbers when you pull on it but when you hang a fish from it nothing. Also should have a sharp point on the hook where you hang the fish so it has something to catch on. It’s just flat so very difficult to get the hook to stay in the fish’s mouth. Not happy with this product.

Bought this weighing scale & used it few times but then it stopped working. I replaced the battery and still not working. I hope they could send me a new one because it’s pretty simple & light & I guess it’s just a manufactured damage.

My horse is on a diet where she needs a specific amount of hay, or she gets way too fat. I hung this scale in the hay barn and it works great to weigh hay in hay nets. The auto-off switch is really handy to save battery power. The "tare" (re-zero) function is a good feature, but I have noticed that the button needs to be pressed down longer as the battery life goes down. Uses 1 AA battery. Have been using it for about a month now and have not needed to change the battery yet. For the price, it is an excellent value!

I've taken it fishing for bass and crappe so far and they definitely are weighed perfectly. The biggest crappe ive caught yet was weighed at 2 lbs on here so Im happy with it! it is easy to use and portable, and I've had it since December and it has yet to give out or break so I think that is great. I've had a couple before that didn't last this long, so I call it a win! Good price and good product

Used just a few times before the screen stopped displaying any readout. Put in fresh batteries and the screen only lights up blue without any numbers being displayed. This thing is junk, look elsewhere.

I'm not at all pleased with this product. Have only managed to weigh 2 fish with it. It seemed to work well the first time I used it. The second time it would not turn on so I thought that I hadn't turned it off and auto off feature had not worked. Next time new batteries and worked (came on) initially but after 20 min I tried to weigh a fish and it would not work. Batteries tested full charge. Continued attempts have proved to be a waste of time. Unable to reach support site. Buy a better one!

This thing is nearly worthless for repetitive or continuous measurements. If you only want to take one reading and then reset I suppose you might find it useful. I'd send it back but for the price it's hardly worth the effort.

Purchased in late May 2020. It’s been used only three times since. Tried using it again yesterday and scale was dead. Replaced batteries and it works again. Batteries were brand new when I first got the scale. This is disappointing.

Another issue is the how fast the scale goes to sleep. I tried to weigh a fish by trying to hook it under the gills. The scale goes to sleep within 15-20 seconds of turning on. This is a pain to deal with. I don’t recommend this scale.
