Answer: The pole has dents at the bottom that lock with the horizontal bar (pin) inside the rod holder. Notice that not all rod holder have this horizontal bar(pin) inside.

Answer: I own a 26 ft. Baha Cruiser and all of the rod holders are tilted. The oceans bait and filet table has a slotted base allowing you to rotate the shaft and lock into position. The top has a swivel attached to the shaft that allows you to level the table with a tightening knob.

It came with a philips head screw taped into the bottom of the mounting pole. What is that for? It’s a self tapping screw.

The filet/but cutting table and rod holder mount seems to be of good quality. The stainless screws (?) provided for mounting the table to the mount are of very poor quality. I actually broke two while trying to unscrew and adjust the mount. I replaced all 4 screws and bolts.

Up date : The table clamp does not hold the table that well . I used a hack saw blade to scuff the pivot ball , now it holds like crazy .

This table does not adjust side ways. So you can only put it and the back end of the boat, if you put it on the side gunnels out of the way it ends up tilted because it does not have a side way adjustment.
I can't believe it was design that way.
