This Five Oceans bait/filet serving table is built with a white Polypropylene core and a thin white cap. It's UV stabilized to last year's on deck. Not to mention, the white finish gives this serving and cutting table a clean look that won't interrupt the sleek appearance of your boat and provides contrast for high-visibility when measuring and cutting the day's catch. In addition, this particular table is able to mount on rod holders.

Answer: The pole has dents at the bottom that lock with the horizontal bar (pin) inside the rod holder. Notice that not all rod holder have this horizontal bar(pin) inside.

Answer: I own a 26 ft. Baha Cruiser and all of the rod holders are tilted. The oceans bait and filet table has a slotted base allowing you to rotate the shaft and lock into position. The top has a swivel attached to the shaft that allows you to level the table with a tightening knob.

The filet/but cutting table and rod holder mount seems to be of good quality. The stainless screws (?) provided for mounting the table to the mount are of very poor quality. I actually broke two while trying to unscrew and adjust the mount. I replaced all 4 screws and bolts.

Just purchased this as a gift for my bait-catching-as-a-business partner and wanted to say the complaints others have about the “weird angles” and drainage issue are not the problem of this item, it’s oblivious human syndrome that causes the problems. Watch the VIDEO for this item about how to set up the angle for placement in your particular rod holder and you should not have a problem. Will probably come back and buy the larger version, even though this “smaller” one is plenty large enough unless you’re after large game.

The Bait/Fillet cutting board when mounted in the rod holder is tilted towards the floor of the boat not over the gunnel so the bait juice will drain overboard not onto the floor of the boat or onto the side of the gunnel.
