Answer: Hello from American Angler
Answer: It came with one set of blades, and I believe they are around 8 or 9 inches. It also accepts blades that I have used with other knives.
Answer: Mine came with three sets, I believe they are 9 inch, 7 inch and a 5 inch. One was for saltwater fish, catfish, and panfish.
Q:
Do you have this item in stock
Answer: Lucille: Yes, Amazon does have this item in stock.
Q:
Hola mi pregunta es si puedo cortar hueso de res?
Q:
What is the model number on these? 32350 or 32300
Answer: model number: 32350DS
Answer: I purchased 32300.
Q:
Whats the difference between the 32350 and 32351 ??
Answer: Don't know exactly but would guess 1 is 110v and 1 is 12v. The absolutely best filet knife.
Q:
how many amps is the motor?
Answer: i dont know the amps but i got the american angler pro and had to replace it 3x in 3 months 1st the trigger stayed on then only one blade moved on the second 1 i wood not recamend it
Answer: I don't know how many amps, however, it is more powerful than others that I have used. It still isn't quite as powerful as I would like, but better than most.
Answer: According to the markings on the device itself, 1.0 Amps.
Answer: It shows 1 amp on knife housing.
Answer: 1.0 amp single phase
Answer: It doesn't say, I did not take it apart, but I would say it had something to do with the gears. It would not cut under a load.
Q:
Why did you quit making the old grey & black knife? Everyone liked that one & it was affordable for our customers.
Q:
Where is the blade release button located on this knife? Is it near where your thumb will be so that you accidentally release it?
Answer: It's on the top where your thumb goes but it's further forward and it's not an issue. It slides back to release the blades and I've never accidentally released the blades and I've cleaned over a thousand fish with my knife. I'm a professional fishing guide and I love this knife.
Answer: I know this might sound crazy but I don't remember where the release button is located but I can tell you that after filleting around 150 or so crappie it was not a problem
Answer: It is on the end and you push it toward the back of the knife to release it. It works good.
Answer: (answer no)located top front
Q:
I bought this electric knife and am wondering if we can get a hard case for it
Answer: Never have seen one. I keep mine in a small plastic tool box along with extra blades, regular filet knives, sharpening devices, and a table spoon to scale bream.
Q:
Wow why is this $214? That around $100 more then anywhere else
Answer: Rip off
Answer: I don'tknow. I have never paid that for one.

Answer: I use mine for cleaning bluegill, crappie, bass and catfish. I’m sure I filleted at least 600 catfish last year.
Answer: thats all I use it for and love it
Answer: Works for freshwater.
Answer: Yes? I use it on salt mainly but i think it is versatile enough
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes.
Q:
Does this knife work well cutting off big catfish heads?
Answer: don't no never cut the heads off with this knife.
Answer: This knife didn't work more than a day
Answer: Can't say, only fish for White Perch and Bass.
Q:
Is this a high speed fillet knife, like the older style american angler. I have one that is around 7 yrs old, thanks?
Answer: It is high speed. The triggers on these tend to go bad. I’ve had a couple of them. I was going to try a bubba blade electric knife next time....
Answer: Yes this is an exact duplicate of the old knife in style and performance. I used mine to f i l l e t hundreds of walleye this summer
Answer: I would say yes it is high speed, but it is the first one I have owned so don't know how it compares to older models. I really like mine!
Answer: Not quite as to what is meant by high speed, but it is very comparable knife to the older ones. I clean fish at least once a week and the knife is still kicking. You can clean just about anything with the knife
Answer: Yes, as far as I know. It is the best knife I have ever used.
Q:
Is this cordless?
Answer: This product is not cordless.
Answer: No it is not cordless. It must be plugged in to use.
Answer: no its 110 volt with cord, works great! i believe they do make cordless also
Answer: No. However, my husband won't use any other kind. He is a master fisherman, so you will be getting a good one.
Answer: No, 120 volts
Q:
Does it come with 2blades?
Answer: The Pro Series model #32350 comes with 1 set of 8" freshwater blades.
Answer: Comes with one blade. My husband says it is the best.
Answer: it comes with one set of blades
Answer: Yes it comes with two blades
Answer: no
Q:
does it take the 7" mister twister replacement blade?
Answer: We can only say with certainty that American Angler blades fit American Angler knives. We do not know if competitor's blades fit our models. Happy fishing!
Q:
Does it come in a case ?
Answer: It comes with a bag that the knife and blades will fit in. The bag is mesh on one side to allow it to breathe in case any moisture is on the knife.
Answer: Mine came with a mesh case
Answer: Mine did not, just a cardboard box. In my honest opinion this knife is still not as good as the original American angler knife.
Q:
Where is the lock I have trouble with the locks
Answer: Hi Lana-
Answer: The lock is located in orange on the trigger. Push it to the left, and it locks ,push it to the right and it unlocks.
Answer: If you are talking about the lock to put the blade in the knife, it is just hard to get in at times. Sorry this is so late but had computer problems. Hope this helps.
Q:
Does American angler make cordless electric fillet knife?
Answer: Haven’t seen one but love the one we have
Answer: If they do, I haven’t saw it.
Answer: Not that I’m aware.
Q:
Model number?
Answer: Sorry, the knife is on the boat at the lake so don't have that info available now.
Q:
Is this one the 32300 model?
Answer: model number: 32350DS
Answer: No idea but its decent knife. A little weak on tough fish, like big redfish and sheapshead but i give it an overall B for a grade
Q:
Does this have a 40mm motor?
Answer: I don’t know but it works great, I’m very satisfied with the power.
Q:
what is the difference between the PRO and the Premium models?
Answer: I believe the difference is the titanium blades
Q:
Which one is better for saltwater fish the stainless steel one or the titanium one?
Answer: I have the knife with the stainless steel blades which works fine for my use. Titanium blades typically are better though due to corrosion resistance and typically stronger. This is why it is the often the choice for professional divers, military and other outdoorsmen. It is the better choice.
Q:
We just purchased American angler knife, it only came with 1 blade! It looks like it should have 2. Because there are 2 sides!
Answer: Yes the knife is supposed to have two blades. It will not work with only one blade. Send it back.
Answer: Should be two blades . Left and right blades fit together to make one blade.
Q:
Is the pro efk and model #32350 the same knife?
Answer: The one I ordered, and promptly returned, was a 32350DS. It was yellow (orange) and black. As I said in my review, the blade speed was not very fast and tore through the fish rather than cut. And it got really hot. I bought a 40.00 Berkely and like it much better.
Q:
Does this have a cigarette lighter plug in for use in the field?
Answer: It does not, American Angler discontinued the 12V models and now they are only available in 110V with a standard plug
Answer: No it does not. You would need an adaptor for type A plug.
Answer: No, it operates on 120 volts AC power
Answer: Great knife they last
Answer: No
Answer: No it doesent
Q:
what kind of waranty come with this item?
Answer: I cant answer this, but I can tell you that I'm NOT happy with this item...the blades move too slow. Reading the reviews, I think the earlier models were better. I cant use this model....
Answer: No idea. I typically clean fish 50 times a year and this one has lasted me over two years. American angler is a good brand for inshore fish. I prefer to not use it on large redfish, sheepshead, and red snapper. I use it on everything else though
Answer: I think one year.
Q:
Wow why is this $214? That around $100 more then anywhere else
Answer: Rip off
Answer: I don'tknow. I have never paid that for one.
Q:
If item is in stock why is the ship date 2 to 4 weeks
Q:
does american angler make a 12 volt converter for this knife
Q:
I have tried all the electric knives available and they are all substandard junk! is this knife made in china?? that will answer all i need to know.
Answer: The 110-volt Pro Electric Fillet Knife from American Angler® boasts an 8" blade twice the torque as previous models, for smooth and consistent filleting. The Knife's ergonomic design reduces fatigue and strain during use. A convenient carry bag allows proper venting to prevent odor and corrosion buildup. Manufacturer's 2-year limited warranty. Made in USA.
Answer: This knife is not made in China. My husband had one for years till it bit the dust and he would not buy any other kind. If we can help it, we don't buy anything made in China either. Walnut Ridge, Arkansas 72474 is where it is made.
Answer: This knife in my opinion is the top of the line in durability a very long useful life . Don't believe the knife is made in China or the U.S .A.
Answer: Aren't they all?
Answer: did not work for me. wish dewalt or someone would make one.
Q:
Who do i contact to get this item repaired or replaced. still under warranty, bought it october 2016, stopped working today february 8 20-8
Q:
We have an AA model #31600. Are the blades from that one interchangeable with this one?
Answer: Not particularly sure on my model numbers, but i have had no issues with swapping blades on american any, american angler knifes
Answer: As far as I know, all American Angler blades will interchange.
Answer: To my knowledge all do exchange I've owned a bunch
Answer: don't know the answer to that one
Q:
can it cut pork bones?
Answer: never tried this, I don't think it would be good for the knife. I would call the company and ask.
Q:
is this knife suitable for someone left-handed?
Answer: Yes on left hand use. My husband is a life-long fisherman and says this is the very best knife.
Answer: THE KNIFE WILL BE THE SAME WRITE OR LEFT
Answer: I actually don't like this knife AT ALL ! ! It has the slowest slide rate of any electric knife I've ever used, in other words a very weak motor so I don't recommend this knife.
Answer: My friend is left-handed and he uses mine and has never made any comment about it being unusual.
Answer: Yes im pretty sure it could be used ambidextrously. Both left and right hands
Answer: yes
Q:
I make a lot of beef jecky how well will this slice beef? Thanks
Answer: Not sure I use it to slice ham, turkey and pork but not really thin slices so I'm not sure. Hope this was helpful.

Answer: This is the best electric knife you can buy, but because I used only on fish I am not completely sure , but I believe this will also be the best.
Answer: I don't know, I have never caught one. I guess they don't eat night-crawlers.
Answer: Very well
Q:
How does the blade lock in and remove?
Answer: Pushes in and locks has a release you mash releases the blades
Answer: The blades hook together near the tips then bottom end of blades are pushed into handle until it clicks. One of the best electrics on market
Answer: easy snaps in and release
Q:
Would this cut frozen meat?
Answer: Never tried it on frozen meat but cuts through fish bones.
Answer: I don’t think it would cut frozen meat.
Q:
I don't fish. I just want to cut cooked meat and steaks. will this do the job or should i go with hamilton beotch or a bbb store bought item?
Answer: This is over kill for what you want. This is the best fish filet knife by far. I filet salt water fish (red snapper and grouper) as well as fresh water fish ( crappie bass and war mouth) with this knife. I've bought at least 6 other electric knives and none compare with the power of this one. I bought a back up in case something happens to mine. The blade does wear out so I'm on my third one. I do admit that I filet through the rib cage bones and leave them with the meat.
Answer: I cannot tell you how it would do on the types of meats you have mentioned but I don't why it wouldn't. It is the best filet knife U have ever used for fish. I don't cut the bones but large catfish have tough skin and it is never a problem.
Answer: The teeth a little big to cut steak with but it will do the job.
Answer: This is an excellent knife for raw fish, meats & even breads. I highly recommend it. Good value also.
Answer: It will do what you are asking, but save your money and buy a hamilton beach. Both brands make quality knifes
Answer: This is a great knife, I use it mostly for fish.
Answer: JMO. IT WILL DO GREAT. Can come with 5 different blades.....good choice
Q:

Answer: I haven't measured but it is about 4'-6' long. Probably closer to 6'.
Answer: The cord is 8ft. long
Answer: Mine measures out at 8 feet long.
Answer: 6 to 6 1/2 feet
Answer: 8 feet
Answer: 8'
Answer: 5 feet
Q:
where made?
Answer: Hello
Answer: Don’t know for sure, I do know it’s the best electric fillet knife(durability) I have used, I a full time saltwater fishing guide, clean a lot of redfish and drum and this knife lasts, tough...
Answer: Walnut Ridge, Arkansas
Q:
I have knives I need the filet knife body only can I just get knife body?
Q:
How long is the electric cord?
Answer: appox. 8'
Answer: 8 feet
Q:

Answer: Yes it is 110 only. Although, I know a Crappie Guide that uses a 12 Volt to AC converter and clips onto his boat batteries at the Boat Launch parking lots to clean fish.
Answer: Yes. 110 volt
Answer: The one I got was plug in to 110 only.....
Answer: Yes! I bought this American Angler (had a gift card) as a backup for the American Angler I have been using for many years and I am still using. In my opinion it is hands down the best 110v filet knife on the market.
Answer: It is only a 110v fillet knife.
Answer: Yes, I had to send it back, got a new one, had the same problem with the new one. Get the Rapala.

Best electric filet knife on the market today
benny jackson : EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Works extremely well for larger fish much better than others I've used expecially cutting through the ribcage. The only negative is the cost $109.00 for and electric knife is a little steep but they do have a two year warranty. which I hop will be honored if I have any problems. Overall works great/
b gilmore : Five Stars
works great!!
Cynthia Nance : Sharp
Very durable product. Sharp blades
Teresa : Best fillet knife!
Nice knife! Bought this one for a fishing buddy and he loves it! Mine is a 12 years old and still filleting fish with only one other blade. Therefore in my opinion great quality, durability, and longevity!
david mitchell : Got torque
I'd give it 5 stars but the blades had a bad tip. The manufacturer didnt respond to my email about them. Still, this is my second American Angler and the first lasted a couple years. This one has WAY better quality. You can feel the toque twist in your hand. I like it enough to buy new blades and still give it a good review. Cuts through big Walleye like butter :)
Amazon Customer : Excellent filet knife.
Knife works great. The only negative I have is that your hand gets hot due to the location of the vents that cool the motor.
Myron R. : kinda pricey, but I like the way if fits my hand,
It gets a little warm to hold if you do a lot of cutting, but so far it has been a good fillet knife.
Arkansas Dixie : The best fillet knife ever!
This is the only knife my husband will use to fillet his fish.
Amazon Customer : K.C.C.A.
I bought this knife in August. I fish manly for catfish. I had a Rapala for 2-1/2 years. And probably cleaned 1400 fish with it before the trigger started messing up. Figured I better get a new one before it left me high and dry. I thought I would try a American angler. I have probably cleaned about 200 fish so far. It works as expected. Sometimes the motor get a little hot but has not given me any trouble yet. I think it does run a bit slower than a Rapala but not enough to make a difference. I can’t say anything bad about Rapala. So far I really like the American Angler
Amazon Customer : Five Stars
Product arrived quickly and as advertised
Larry Richard : The sharp tip is great for taking out ribs
I finally wore out my first American Angler after a couple of decades and thousands of fish. The spare has served me well, and I needed to have two. One for travel and one home. I plan to use it on some Lake Michigan salmon tomorrow. I saved the short blades in that the longer ones are a bit unwieldy. The sharp tip is great for taking out ribs. 25 May, worked as expected on the salmon, the blade eject button is out of the way better than in my previous model

Kevin Rosignol : great knife
would buy again

Arkansas Dixie : The best fillet knife ever!
This is the only knife my husband will use to fillet his fish.
Barret Dickinson : Good service from Amazon
Knife performed as expected cleaning quite a number of hybrid and striped bass. 4 stars only because the motor got hot but I've yet to find one that doesn't!! We will see how long the motor lasts?? Good service from Amazon.

William White : I like the blade release on this model compared to the ...
I like the blade release on this model compared to the previous model. There is a safety feature on the trigger that the previous model did not have. I cannot see that there is any difference in the cutting power. This is my second American Pro Angler electric fillet knife and the first one I gave to a friend. He said that it is still working great.
Myron R. : kinda pricey, but I like the way if fits my hand,

KayB : Husband’s Favorite
I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day. He is over the moon with how well this works. He just went bass fishing and used it to filet the fish he caught. He kept holding the filets up to show me how beautifully the knife performed.
Michael Billiot : Great buy
Cant go wrong buying american angler.this is my third one.like the power these knives have.all around a great electric fillet knife.
david a true avid fishermen and hunter : Very disappointing quality
Did not last
Rusted and fell apart

melvin singer : Not what you pay for.
Always used a Mr Twister last 10
or so years, thought I would step up to a supposedly better knife with the fresh water American. But blades difficult to put in handle, handle gets hot, and will hardly cut through large crappie ribs. I sent knife back.
Philip : Works great
Works very well, a tad expensive. I just hope it lasts a long time.
